i have never understood the "interesting" tell. that said, it has made me way more mindful as saying it even as a civilian because people jump all over that stuff. what's wrong with finding things interesting? i dunno. i feel like he took a stance on where he is on the controversial juliets post. he deemed it was juliets being playful and that's overall a good look. he didn't say it was tmi or whatever else people have concluded.

i liked kites post a lot. felt very authentic and fire emblem-like.

Okay, here's my view of things. Calling a game mechanic "interesting" isn't really a tell. It's fine to use it in that way. Calling another player's post "interesting" looks like you really want to draw attention to a post they made that could be viewed as scummy, but you don't want to be the first to call it scummy so the safe thing to say is "hey, this is interesting" and see if someone else will come along who shares your opinion.

niju's posts are at the opposite end of the stiffness spectrum. Three exclamation marks. They're almost gratuitously loose.

Lynching a low-poster means ignoring all the good discussion we've had in the thread so far and going back to the day 0 game of analyzing how stiff or natural each person's check-in post felt. I don't really like that, and think we can do better.

I reread the lowposters earlier today, and I came away thinking that neverwhere seemed ok too. I did not get the best feeling from Niju. I also tend to suspect Rey is bad every time he doesn’t show up. That’s an old school bias that I haven’t been able to shake, but I also would hate to lynch someone who is a no show. He’s not exactly doing any harm so I’m not sure whether he’s worth thinking about.

reywaS should be mod-killed for inactivity or replaced. I'm not okay with lynching someone with zero posts, and I don't like that DDL thought we would be open to lynching someone with zero posts.

Probably not. But when you saw the poll, who did you think of as bad first? Or who do you see as most likely getting lynched? ReyWas? Neverwhere? Luna?

Not raywaS or Neverwhere. I think the lynch is between Leetic, myself, and Niju. And to answer your question, I thought leetic was bad first, but only because he is at the top, and I look back at his posts first.

If you're town and speed is bad and you have a weak role like he's claiming, why would he kill you when you're a potential easy lynch? And what if mafia tried to kill you but failed for one reason or another?

Luna was not active and there were no night kills for what, 2 nights? Then there was the narrowed lynch poll. Luna was on it and all of a sudden she had time to come in and get involved. With an active Luna there was now a night kill. I explained that if the night kill came about now that Luna was active, that I would assume those non-night kills were due to an inactive mafia luna.

That is a very poor reason to vote for someone. There were plenty of people available who could have killed during the night. And there are plenty of reason that the previous night-kills didn't go through.
