Ricochet wrote: Tue Jul 11, 2023 2:40 am Page two and the mech talk is fine, I suppose. Easy pocket material, tho, especially with the prevalent "ooh tutuu is town for mechtalking this much" sentiment.

Tutuu still bit wishwashy or just plain derpy now with the whole "town be swag and not pick food" but then "oh wait getting increasingly hungry will lose game for town" progression.

Ping on Rondo asking to be grouped with the mechtalkers. For what? Or what kind of cred?

I don't think the game will be faultily designed (especially with this being an Epig game) as to reach a mechanical loss i.e. fX town being starved or mafia hogging all the protections each time.
I'm not too fond of this post for its structure. Could be excessively designed to appear contributive. The suspicion on Rondo and the reaction OMGUS is interesting if it goes further, otherwise I could see them both doing some early distancing with this.
This seems a bit cooked to me. Orange just strikes me as an odd perspective given the Rico post being addressed, and red made my left eyeball do that thing it would normally do if I were sitting in a restaurant and heard some guy nearby on a date start talking about how women really are unprompted

Also on the beginning of the game you voted with no reason on me. I made like 3 posts and you just vote on me with no particular reason. This shit doesn't help The Town. Can play real as well or should I show you how you fucking play town or as in in your position how to pretend being civilian. You are Mafia or Wolf, or how ever scum in this game is called, making much post to seem like insane active town who wants to win. But you made a mistake. Don't fucking annoy Civilian. Also spam with Bullshit doesn't help Town either! It's only my 3th game here but still def sure you are just not able to play scum because this is not Townisch what you do.

Pls can you write in words and not always answer in memes? Pls can you behave like Town if you are or really want to lose on Wolf on D1 also not good for your wolf teammates as well.

Town ezpz... maybe.
I like it. Rondo‘s re-entry and stubborn push on JJJ made me town him. Looked like an against the train endeavour I wouldn‘t place as maf.

Martin on the other hand keeps giving me the feeling that his posts lack authenticity.

Tutuu is a little dust devil that could be anything. Initially I thought town for being very informative but that fell off with me being unable to follow their voting logic. I‘m also not sure if they tried to pocket me with the TR.

Scotty‘s list with the Wilgy/Seanzie/something team was refreshing but it was probably too easy as a solve.

I should probably get on a keyboard and better delve into why I think Martin is mafia. Or change my mind depending on what else I find there.

As for JJJ , I‘m not sure if he is capable of using his authoritative vibe independently of alignment.
But that‘d be my main reason for the town lean and I am watching Rondo vsing him with great interest.
I was gonna explain this before I threw a temper tantrum now that I've calmed down I will

Porscha is town because when she was being pushed by Tutuu unfairly in my opinion she got frustrated in a pure way which I associate with her town game. I feel like when she's a wolf she gets less frustrated because she knows she's being pushed correctly. But when she's town she almost feels slighted by being pushed using certain like meta reads and stuff.

Sean is town but I always struggle to articulate my Sean town reads. It's just like the way he's defending Porscha and adamantly bringing up a secret read is a townie thing for Sean IMHO

Rondos aggressive push on Scotty and JJJ especially JJJ is town Rondo to the core. When town Rondo thinks he's found something he hard focuses it like he did with Robyn in some game I was in with him. He is confident he's found a wolf slip and he it's trying to convince others to see what he sees in a towny and pure way to me.

You are Zenon, Town 1-shot Desperado. You’re known for posting a lot (namely in anime gif form), playing a lot, and, most importantly, making snap decisions – particularly in the endgame. In a recent game, Wild West FM, you were taken to final 3 and immediately voted the last wolf, resulting in a LyLo that was strictly speaking over in four minutes and two posts. This game, we’re giving you the chance to accomplish a similar feat.

High-Risk High-Reward (Day 2+, 1-shot, Immediate): Spend 6 Snapvote Charges, post Fuck it we ball glgl in bold red text, and ping a player. (When you use this ability, you should also inform the hosts privately.) If they are Town, you will strongman die. Otherwise, you will strongman kill that player. This action resolves instantly.

Catching up from my wagonz post (#412). 7 pages oh boy. Sprawling notes incoming.

Vivax rebutted that he has cooled off due to gamestate i.e. sandbagging / vague gamereads to skirt being AI read. I don't think I grasp his pov, but it also doesn't eliminate the contrast of having looked into player's texts and intentions early on. One of the two approaches rings superficial.

Creature surfaces:
-- begs for mercy right away
-- points to meta of similar activity; to note, there is open disinterest stated in that game, which has so far not been expressed here; I reserve judgement on whether this is to save face or genuine
-- rebuttal that they would ghost under pressure, not entirely (and game-breakingly) is alright
-- questions tutuu on focusing on zeroposters, but townreads them for lulz-just-trollin
-- focuses on Seanzie inactivity and potential Rondo - JJJ buddying

Probably ok with Creature atp.

---

Porscha more active:
-- statement on having also played AI-cluelesss for a while
-- startled by the idea of Seanzie being lynched
-- frustration at getting the polarized / not active enough treatment (from knowledgeable-on-meta players, especially)
-- ok so main rebuttal is that all the suss from tutuu is untrue and unfouonded
-- #674 is also a rebuttal worth considering (along with Se7en similar meta -- edit: though apparently some claims about that meta are not accurate?)

On the fence, but last posts read a lot better.

---

JJJ desires more Martin

---

tutuu chaosy with her instant townreads and vote switches.

and then roleclaims.
===reactions:
Scotty ok's it.
SVS lemme think about it's it.
JJJ disapproves of tutuu wagon regardless' it.
Rondo annyoed at early claim's it.
Porscha expresses reservations of WIFOM's it.
Zenon doesn't find it confirmable's it and disapprove of protection choice's it.

---

Sudden Porscha push (tutuu, scotty, JJJ on page), coupled with very inactive / complete inactives. Ergh. Porscha or one other individual name on this list would ring fine, but creating a wolf scenario of whatif's and zero-poster's feels like driving attention outside a lot of actual gamestate.

JJJ later states it has more to do with the expectation of an active, town Porscha.
Scotty later likes the pushback.

State of push now...? ?

--

Zenon votes Vivax.
Zenon votes Tutuu.
Townreads Porscha.
Asks for Tutuu's protection. Then to use it on Rondo.
Wolfreads tutuu's Seanzie vote.
Zenon votes Scotty.

Hm. Woke up with the vibe that it's still all tantrum and empty voting, BUT the read into tutuu is acknowledgeable. Best part of the ISO by far, atm.

--

SVS surfaces
-- more mechtalk and susstalk in relation to tutuu
-- back and forths with Scotty
-- step back on tutuu after roleclaim

Growing feeling that her interests and topics are inversely proportional to having made any actual read or focused elsewhere. There is potential in skirting with this. Or just preparing to tunnel on those two suss's.

--

Rondo surfaces and sort of sprawls all over. I don't find the time and resources to judge all of that. Pass.

Did not expect him to defend zeroposter-D1-lynching, tho.

Some proposal about the item pick order on D2 that I don't understand one bit.

At least seems to come up with a JJJ + Scotty + Vivax scenario. Some JJJ - Scotty interaction is perhaps worth analyzing, but his mashup of quotes also felt from all over the place.
Does make a point about both of his suspects brushing it off with hahahoohoo's.

I am feeling a decent to light to strong pass on Rondo material toDay.

--

Seanzie!

-- abandons all hope of catching up first 12 pages
Funny how JJJ suggests that he look into mostly inactives. Ergh.
-- townreads Porscha. Repeatedly. Calls it a tell thing. States it was accurate a lot of times in previous games.
A Porscha / Seanzie w/w world would already start to look kinda dumbmove, judging from Seanzie's moves.
-- rebuttal on same "polarized" argument from tutuu (unfounded, unrealistic, unproved meta-wise)
-- lol mushrooms
-- fine's falcon

uuhhhh k

--

Martin!

Bookmarking his longass post to look at later. Maybe.

--

votes on Metababy

another wagon with little... meat on it (CSI_hiyaaa_mp2

--

You have used zero compelling arguments to try to pull my vote off you. Your claim was way to early. It feels like a LAMIST attempt to pull votes off yourself with a role claim that isn't heavily town sided.

If your unwilling to use the doc on someone that is not PoEd and heavily town read than your not willing to work with town than you are not confirmable. Not to me.
fwiw Tutuu mentioned most wagons are decided by a few votes (think they said 4) on TS

regardless of the truth of it, the perception there implies it would be a really simple decision for a !wolf Tutuu and their teammates to say they'll pile votes on someone and (probably) get away with it till late game

no claim necessary unless things are going down-hill
Okay why can't you claim later in the day the numbers are still the same. First wagons rarely go over in mafia games
because if the held perception (that most wagons pass with like 4 or 5 votes) is indeed true, then I don't see why not claim at that point in time

doing it later (like 12 hours before EoD instead of 24) increasingly risks it not having enough effect to cause a decisive shift away from them

there isn't a !town tutuu world where they don't believe in the claim they made, so the reason why they're town necessarily involves it -- especially when if they were wolf it would call for a different action instead of claiming which potentially boxes you in
This post is also worded from a perspective where he assumes all the information he gets is perfect.

If I had to call Martin mafia it´s because he builds his posts from a different vantage point. This one feels like it as well.

[VOTE: MartinGG99] aubergine

Either way, if he´s scum his pelt is mine even if I get mischopped.

Normally I wouldn't start a conversation with you, because I know you piss me off with the way you post here. But I still hope to get a real answer here.
Why you voting on Dr.Wilgy?

no claim necessary unless things are going down-hill
Okay why can't you claim later in the day the numbers are still the same. First wagons rarely go over in mafia games

Vivax, why is it that the only thing you truly talk about me that isn't vague

is the preety obvious pretend-TMI slip I set up to see if Zenon would identify it or not

like seriously am I so vaguely inauthentic (your words btw) that the only real distinct evidence you have to support that is me interacting with zenon in a single post?

on the one hand I think there's a decent chance based on your prior reasons that you just don't vibe with me (which can happen between towns) but on the other hand this just rings opportunistic whereas prior you couldn't find solid ground to justify your stance against me

To jump to her defense a little bit, she´s the impulsive type and likes to post in hyperbole but I hope nobody takes it personally as she needs to build a more nuanced mafia persona which requires practice so she´s going to exhibit that ´wooden mallet to close targets´ posting style for a while, probably.

I believe that post tone = exacerbated yelling directed at tutuu is a strong town point nontheless.

It´s less of a vibing issue than you looking to me like you´re fake contributing with your justification for tutuu´s alignment read revolving around her claim. Opportunism would require me to find townies to attach to and pocket and then imitate their reasoning to vote a popular wagon.

But as it looks like I claim hipster rights to the scumread on you instead of that.

I have yet to get a vibe where you dig into something that makes you think a player is mafia and then pursue that at least for a while, but it looks to me like you´re the imitator. No offense.

My justification (specifically the reasoning regarding the claim) was only provided when I decided to defend Tutuu, and only did so in the interest of potentially solving Zenon (and maybe others who interacted with the TMI assumption). Multiple people have implied or directly said before-then that Tutuu was not going to be the chop for the day, so there was no real towncred in defending Tutuu or re-affirming a consistent read I've had since early into the game. Maybe I would've looked smart, but that intelligence would've held very little impact in people's eyes. It wouldn't have changed the game at all really.

Not everyone figures mafia day 1. Unless you're Macdougall, in which case at some point in the day everyone has been figured as mafia at one point or another.

The only credit I am giving to you about your suspicions of me is that its semi-accurate, in that is generally one of my go-to's as mafia. Most notably whenever I decide to white-knight someone. But Tutuu did not need white-knighting and I wasn't going to gain anything from it. I only engaged in something looking of the sort when Zenon persisted in their suspicion of Tutuu.

In a recent game, Wild West FM, you were taken to final 3 and immediately voted the last wolf, resulting in a LyLo that was strictly speaking over in four minutes and two posts. This game, we’re giving you the chance to accomplish a similar feat.

To expand on this post and cause I like to quote myself in general, talking to myself leads to astounding results occasionally, his entire rationale I bolded in martin´s post reeks heavily informed and I would place the purpose of the post at "appearing right while sacrificing information others don´t have".

Which is something some mafia like to do to appear useful in my experience.

He aims at giving flawless reasoning to keep the heat off but that´s less townie than he thinks it is.
Vivax, why is it that the only thing you truly talk about me that isn't vague

is the preety obvious pretend-TMI slip I set up to see if Zenon would identify it or not

like seriously am I so vaguely inauthentic (your words btw) that the only real distinct evidence you have to support that is me interacting with zenon in a single post?

on the one hand I think there's a decent chance based on your prior reasons that you just don't vibe with me (which can happen between towns) but on the other hand this just rings opportunistic whereas prior you couldn't find solid ground to justify your stance against me
It´s less of a vibing issue than you looking to me like you´re fake contributing with your justification for tutuu´s alignment read revolving around her claim.

I´d be interested into your reads on rico, scotty, JJJ. No explanation required.

I´d ask about tutuu too (don´t spell it out loudly) but you think the claim made her town, while I keep in mind that fakeclaiming is possible. That´s what made me think you used an information angle where you knew she was town and threw the read out as a form of appeasement/earning townreads.

Well, if you had believed slips existed then I could've analyzed your knee-jerk reaction to it and see how far you took it or not, as me having TMI on Tutuu would imply you being very wrong on Tutuu while simultaneously pointing me out as wolf to you

Basically baiting/reaction testing, although I didn't have a specific idea of what is clearly bad or good. I was planning to review it all after waking up later but instead I've kinda skipped sleep for like 2 hours now.

No explanation? I mean, that's kinda what my reads-list of sorts was a few hours ago. I grouped people from top to down. Higher up was more town and down lower was more suspect, though the biggest blob was my more-or-less null-equivalents.

Something like this? I would say? A lot of it feels like waiting for more to happen from certain people so I'm not sold on this arrangement. But it does bother me since my vote could go onto a person whom I could maybe solve later and I dislike being inefficient like that (unless I get lucky and its on a wolf). Better than letting Tutuu die though.

Looks like I'll have to see if I can be here tomorrow (IRL) more. No promises though since usually my Wednesday evenings are spent with a particular online friend unless they're too busy.

Anyone who is fake-claiming d1 is knowingly putting a huge risk of being caught in a lie for it. So I immediately disregarded any chance of it. Only time when I've actually seen that happen was when a town did it so they could suicide bomb another player on day 2 (they couldn't do it day 1).

Most of Zenon's content had been on Tutuu, and that made it difficult to work with since part of it seemed from the whole fiasco earlier (like first half of d1) with heated emotions. I figured both mafia and town could probably be saying those things given the context. In my earlier mafia years if I got into a heated argument as wolf somethings I would lean into it more because I knew town me would say the same or similar things. Maybe I could've read for that, but I think any ability to catch that without knowing Zenon much before that is quite unlikely by anyone.

I did something more nuanced and drastic in the hopes it would help me solve them and not have them as null. Also, it wasn't specifically a requirement, for all I know if I had all the time and mafia wisdom in the world I would've had a better plan or something like that. This is what I thought of and its what I did.

The groupings aren't ordered within themselves. But re: DMB, I am reconsidering given their strong language in this game upon re-entrance. SVS I am hoping I will have a better idea of when they re-enter the thread, but if all else fails (in terms of what I'm hoping to develop from people) they among the people I'm most willing to vote for, off the top of my head. SVS reminded me (post link) a fair bit of a wolf teammate I recently had, or at least felt in similar style. It also feels like they've not really interacted much with or talked about, like, four people or something and for what they've done so far I hadn't really gauged anything positive. That was a big part of the reason I was hoping to see more of them before the day ends, although with how I'm avoiding sleep rn that may mean I'm cutting into my opportunity/time-constraints to look at that later.

I should probably go correct that and go to sleep now.

@tutuu I went back and skimmed Cartomancy and Hot Dog Fingers, the two games I recalled bad Porscha. She seemed a bit different from each other in both, but neither of them looked much like here, particularly for a day one from a person who I generally get the impression is a slow starter. At this point imma [VOTE: Tutuu] aubergine

She is giving me overwhelming steering vibes, and the fact that she’s doing it in a way that draws clear lines based on an arbitrary criteria, I don’t see the town in that ad of right now.
Well-reasoned and I can’t fault you for this vote.

Well-reasoned SVS can be so tricksy.

SVS, what is your read of me? Do you think I am being disingenuous?
Disingenuous? Not really. Maybe. Not sure. You feel a bit glib tbh.

I have mixed feels on you. I think you find town me better than most, but you also get paranoid.

So you voting me bothered me, I’ll be honest. It felt more to me like you were trying to get a reaction than that you really thought I was being retiring.

I was also bothered by you jumping on the “civvies don’t pick food” bandwagon. I don’t think of you as being a person who goes for someone else’s thread theories like this without more critical thought.

But I’m also on phone on the couch so I have to reread you to capture the feels I had this AM.
This feels like one of those posts AXIS (my champs wolf teammate) would make of me, where its just weighing stuff and mentioning them but never really having a progression or firm stance. A lot of it mentions what Scotty does, not what SVS thinks proactively (like that third line is purely reactive in nature, if you get what I mean).

I wouldn't put much weight into it now, as it would be silly to use someone else's gameplay to implicate someone else for having seemingly similar gameplay. Besides that, for all I know it could be a read that is genuinely mixed and thus is prone to appear that way. But I can't help but feel the similarities.
If I understand you correctly, you think I am reading like Scottys teammate? No, lol.

The whole thing is reactive in nature. And I wasn't particularly expecting anyone to take this into account, except possibly Scotty. He asked me a direct question, I answered it.

I am having a hard time explaining how i feel about Scotty. Even when he incorrectly suspects me as town, he feels sincere to me. I can't say I think he does here. He feels a bit glib, like he's saying these things, but doesn't really believe them.

SVS said she was shooting from the hip but I think she‘s struggling to find something to talk about as a general first inpression of the ISO.

In that vein, I could sheep scotty down the toad and regret mocking his vote.
