This is a pretty good look for Golden, imo. It feels honest, as do the rest of his posts on the matter, and while it would be hard for him to really take credit for the lynch, I do like this admission (while also tinfoilly disliking it for reasons I discussed in ... Blooper's ISO above? I dunno I'm doing too many of these at a time).

There's not a lot to go off of right now and I'm going to need to see more from him before I have a reason to read him badly.

I don't agree with his conclusion but I do see why Scotty would be skeezed out by me D1. I wasn't really into the swing of things and wasn't taking my vote too seriously, which is maybe at odds with what he or others think of my town meta as. His later comments on my "duplicity" continue to move me in this direction. Juliets was most likely the recipient of the Dino with the racket. I saw someone questioning why she would be targeted and the answer to me is randomization. There’s no other reason to target her IMO.

I also disagree on the Dino theory. First if it was the case I'd expect whoever it was to have been doing a major in your phase push of the player last phase since they redirected a mafia kill onto someone else.

I also don't think JUliet would've been the target there are two reasons she was killed either
1. she was onto something
2. She's a strong civ player, someone else mentioned U-Pick as reasoning which I agree with.

I'd disagree on your Scotty read, I found him to be the weakest LC vote and his reasoning for switching off of Colin wasn't good. He spent a fair portion of D1 and D3 trying to get rid of you only to switch to Vomp last second.

We've talked a lot about this little idea and I'm not sure where I stand on it. Whether it's a good idea or not is irrelevant; what is relevant is his motivation to do it. From the get-go sig is in game solving, "here's a big idea" mode. Does it look genuine? Is that something sig does as a townie, or is he less inclined to gamesolving like this? Someone else fill me in. Sig himself kinda does:

The idea behind it is that I'm more tactical as scum and wanna look civvie so I read the rules since I care more about looking high speed/sup town.
Now Ik not everyone is like that and some civs read the rules but I've not read the rules as a civ since like my first few games here.

Though nutella seems a bit less in your face then she was in Upick and other recent games, so i'd say that's a bad look. Though she's busy so I'd not want to lynch her yet and she's exhibiting some civ meta.

I called up the linguistics department at the University of Buffalo and got myself a sig translator, who said this says "Nutella is bad, but, actually, Nutella is good." I told the professor I didn't understand that, but they told me they were just an imaginary device I was using to write this post.

I actually don't like TH play that much so far. He's being less off the wall, its almost like he's trying to copy that meta.

I feel mostly good about the third page of sig's ISO onwards, but I am taken aback again at how much he just throws reads around all willy nilly. On one hand I think a town sig understands himself completely even if I don't, but on the other hand, I wouldn't put it past sig to use this perception to his advantage and make his posts contradictory in an attempt to confuse his opponents.

Luna's first pingy moment comes when she does this D1, after saying that she didn't like the idea at all and sort of walking it back but not really:

I want to clarify something about my town meta, DDL. When I'm town I'm a lot more adventurous with my posts, sometimes at the risk of getting lynched early. Also If I were on a scum team with Marmot, I would not be communicating with him in thread like this, I would use our BTSC. I'm insulted that you think I would be that obvious.

The biggest thing in Luna's favor, imo, is that she essentially built the case against Long Con and deserves credit for his lynch. It's possible that the team made a conscious decision to bus him, and Luna did a fair amount of bussing in U-Pick as I recall, so we should examine whether those reasons are contrived:
If this was planned, it would be an amazing, well thought out scum-play. And those kinds of things just aren't very likely. Sometimes the simplest solution, is in fact correct.

Long Con seems more excited about screaming at the music videos than posting real content, so I'm going to look at him for a second.

He shoots down sig's proposition on day 1, but come on, who didn't.
He missed the day one vote.
He ended up on DDL's list of screaming banshees, but I'm not convinced that means anything.

Ask yourself this: looking at the same pieces of evidence, would you come to the conclusion that Long Con is "probably scum"? I sure wouldn't, but I want other people to know. If Luna is scum, this is incredibly crafty of her, but insufficient reasoning would betray her here. It's made even more complicated by the fact that she reads sig later on with more stuff to go off of but is hesitant to give him as convicting a sentence. Hmm hmm hmm.

I thought I gave them the same consensus, but I deemed sig "could possibly be scum." It mean's "IDK." If you remember, I wasn't even confident enough in my Long Con analysis to leave my vote on him.

From what I see of nutella's posts, she is very set on getting speed lynched. And speed is trying very hard in this game, which makes him a threat to town mafia. I don't like that look on nutella. She also seems needlessly concerned with the King Ramses sock puppet account. At this point I don't see a reason to be concerned with a sock puppet account that posts random weird videos. And she's voting Lapluie, who I'm also looking at. So they are probably not team mates.

Lapluie looks like low-hanging fruit to me right now. She had a bit of a slow start, and appears to be struggling to keep up. I don't have reason to think she's not town, and I don't want to lynch her today, but I'll definitely be keeping my eye on her.

In fact, after looking at lapluie's posts, if just makes nutella seem that much more scummy for jumping from speed to lapluie. It's like she realized speed wasn't going down easy, so she found a easier target.

This post though does ring true as far as what I know about Luna's town meta. It's a perfect 1:1 replica of her town thinking if she is not actually town, at least as I understand it.

The tinfoil is strong with this one. The tinfoil, pending further discussion, says Luna is on a scumteam with Long Con and they're playing a long con of their own by sacrificing him to earn our trust, and Luna was the point man carrying it out. The evidence does not directly confirm the tinfoil though and I have to say there are proooooooobably more town points than scum ones.

If you need this much tin foil to see me as scum, then it is a far reach. I recommend you take it off.

My unsubstantiated belief was that he was a little less engaged with the overall direction of the thread from what I remember in u-Pick, but I don't find that to be the case and I think I'm conflating his performance right now with his performance there in endgame, two very different things. I do think his vote for me is a little lazy, but I don't know if it's uncharacteristic.
