this isn't really controlling the town though. it's like saying I'm controlling you by making you answer my questions. It's just the regular process of gamesolving.

but more importantly it doesn't reflect JJJ as scum in any way. you seemed to imply that he was manipulating people and trying to get them to sheep his reads and that doesn't reflect at all in the way he asked us to do the GTH

Mafia was first introduced to Realms back in 2007. I played heavily back then. Had a break from the forum for a few years, and recently came back there to play during quarantining.

This is my first time on this site, so I’m adjusting to playstyle. Realms games tend to be heavily themed and roles are sometimes crazily complex. Players here seem to be a lot more aggressive (to me), especially for a Day one. =)

It has been proven to work brilliantly when he is among players who understand him and operate similarly. It may have a fish-out-of-water look sometimes to folks who aren't accustomed to the style, but if you give him space he will generally reward that.

as long as you get to a correct conclusion I don't much care how you get there (although it might impact your ability to convince me).

personally I suspect it's just a way to channel your ability to intuit things but again it doesn't matter as long as you catch scum which is all I care about
