Spinach is a maybe, but there was a stretch of my life where every couple weeks was "dynamite bird" which was chopped roast turkey served with mashed potatoes, gravy, and a side veg like corn, or peas and carrots...and the smart diner just piled everything together and stirred it up and ate...one of my favorites at the time.
mashed peas are a no from me but that is a great meal

Yeah the peas didn't get mashed, they were just embedded in the potato substrate along with everything else...it was kinda like concrete with potato and gravy as the cement and everything else as the aggregate...I would get like a full dinner plate piled about two inches thick. Good times.
