Epig, I didn't think your case on Dom was that strong because I don't understand the basic assumption: that Dom or Nijuu has to be The Master. Why can't Hedgeowl be The Master, or Keys?

Chris, all of that may be true, I was dead and not following with full attention.
I think Dom is the Master. I've said all along it was possible he could be the recruiter and you have negated that possibility.

Chris, didn't you have a ton of votes at one stage? And then someone (>_>) persuaded people you weren't the way to go. Roxy literally had 0 votes when Dom voted for you, and unlike others, he kept his vote there. I'm of the opinion that he genuinely believed you were bad.
LC, you're right. I need to make a convincing case if I expect people to follow me. SuperGut, away!

keys.,.. that's what I just posted. So yes, I do think Dom thought I was bad. I don't think he was saving anyone.
And, leading up to MM's lynch, Dom expressed an equal amount of suspicion on both MM and Epig.
You know, Dom very well be bad, but I haven't seen anything between Epig and zeek's cases combined that convinces me that he's The Master, or the recruiter.

But if you don't share the logic you are using, then we don't know if it's sound or faulty, so it makes it less likely that we will be able to put faith in your case. I am interested in finding The Master. But I don't want to take out a civ in the process. (Shut up DF, I wasn't seriously suggesting that we kill a civ. I was bringing up calculated risk, and I also don't believe your role hint)
But in the absence of being sure, with so few players left, I don't want to get it wrong. I'd rather vote for someone who I'm nearly 100% sure is a baddie.

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Day 11
I remember that all too well and completely understand. I think based on the role of the Doctor and his searching for companions that is almost impossible to prevent. It is quite like Aapje's circle of trust you are right, until we took him out ( ). I agree with your view on role hints and apologize for my role in this as well. It didnt affect me really this game and I honestly didnt think about it as many others didnt either. I applaud your choice though.Dom wrote:I'll check in tomorrow. I must get back to work and sleep.
However, on the subject of role hinting--
I really hate it. I really, really hate it. I just really hate it. Always have. Always will. There has been an absurd amount of role hinting and outing in this game and, to be honest, for those who either don't get it immediately or do not feel comfortable (and for baddies who can't really role hint) it kind of ruins the game. I don't care if this is construed to be a baddie whining (It's not, but I discussed this with my team in a previous game... the last LOST game on RM), but it's honestly not fun to me. It completely demoralizes a large group of players and it really isn't fun. In that LOST game, my team only lost because some players were essentially forcing people to role hint and out themselves and if they didn't, they were lynched.
How fun is that?
Not very.
So, no, I will not role hint. I will not do that. I will not do what I am completely against.
I will say that you will hate the result of my lynch. I am not the Master. I am not a Cyber. I am not recruited. You will not like my lynch.

The urgency of needing to kill The Master is what I fear you are either trying to play off of, or being blinded by.
Honestly, it's your urgency that's giving me pause.

Okay, I voted for Snow Dog. It looks like Dom is going to be lynched anyway, but anything could happen. I just don't feel comfortable following Epig's claims about Dom without any substantiation, and although I feel Zeek's passion for this idea, I don't think that amount of evidence for his case amounts to more than what I saw in Snow Dog's posts that some, including I, deemed "Bass supportive".
Dom is one of my number one candidates to be The Master, but it's just based on the way he seems like an enigma... his play, and the relative lack of suspicion he has received until recently, seems like The Master! Pure gut, and I'm hesitant to follow pure gut (unlike keys?). To be honest, I also feel like Strax would be smart to play the same way. But hell, what role wouldn't benefit from a game of little suspicion and relative spotlight-free play?

Yes, Chris, Canuck was very invested in her other game and did not have the time an awesome role demanded. Canuck, like Rey, quits games quite often. I replaced her in one game on TP, and it was a really good role, although not the same level as the Master.
