I have much to think on.

His replies unsettle me. He seems evasive. Who do you suspect?

My problem is that I don't have anyone who is sticking out to me as a clear suspect. That is why I am asking what may appear to be dumb questions. I am afraid of accidentally lynching a civvie again, but I don't have a clear sense of who to vote for.

In all honesty, my top suspect is probably now Kate, as she voted for Boo when MP was on the chopping block, and she seems overly aggressive in her pursuit to lynch Vompatti, who has seemed (based purely on intuition) to be legit to me.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm under the impression that it's usually the civs who are insanified. So maybe you are a civ and the baddies think you're a civ, or maybe you're bad and your teammate insanified you to make you look like a civ. Llama's posts have been more fishy than yours though.

Good question, and I don't know. There has been significant suspicion of me as baddie, so I wouldn't think one baddie team would necessarily assume I'm civvie. The only reason I can think of to insanify a non-obvious civvie would be to make people think I was a baddie trying to gain civvie cred, but I realize this is some serious WIFOM. Of course, all this assumes that insanifying is a baddie power, which I think it probably is, although it seems pretty likely that the chemicals would have it as a power as well.

In short, your guess is as good as mine.

Re-reading Vomps, I was struck by this exchange. I never assumed or said anything about assuming it was Vompatti. I never singled anyone out on that list, ever. He is defending himself against an accusation that was never made. Why? Because, I can only think, he knows it might fairly have been made.

So I'll probably be voting Vomps, I'm almost certain he's Ashton. And, speaking from a personal note, I'll be relieved if we lynchify him as I assume he's already tried to NK me once. I guess I've gone and painted a target on my back.

Around the time you posted the list Boo and Kate assumed I was MP's partner so I thought you agreed with them, and I thought the reason for suspecting me was the way the poll went because no other reason was specified by anyone at that time. If you didn't suspect me particularly you really should have, because in that situation it would have been logical for MP's partner NOT to vote for boo unless it was necessary to save MP, which it seemed to be at the end of the poll but perhaps not earlier.

How would voting for MP have made more sense? Obviously he turned out to be bad but I'm not exactly getting civ vibes out of boo either.

Lastly, he claims to be happy about getting a baddie, but then subtly pushes boo again. This time he says he doesn't get civ vibes from boo, but again, no explanation why.

In conclusion, I think Vomps looks extremely suspicious here. And it's possible we may have found MP's teammate.

MP? I think it's a bit odd that he agreed without any argument with Dex's random list of names above and that he wouldn't say why he has his eye on me particularly. Besides that and the randomization thing at the beginning of the game I don't find him particularly suspicious, although I can't say I trust him either.
