Congratulations town! G-Man, your day and night posts were amazing, if they were a book, I’d want to read it. I hope you get your role madness game going in the near future.
I wish I hadn’t been bulldozed by rl, so I could have given my team more support, but it was a great game to read.

My daily post

I asked the host about being replaced, and I’m not sure that’s going to happen. So I’ll stick around and work with my issues best I can. I’m saying this because I don’t like it when other players feel like they need to cut me slack indefinitely and vice versa. That is just not fun for anyone. So judge me, vote me, or don’t, whatever feels right, because my situation isn’t going to resolve any time soon.
It’s Day 3, my feels are kicking in, but this game is just divided. I have OGs on a list, and New Gs in another list. In the OGs, I see mostly town, but I can’t say that definitely for Splints, Roxy, or Bea. I also can’t say they feel like mafia either. Splints used to be a bit accusing in her posts when she was bad ( long time ago, granted) and I’m not seeing that here. Roxy and Bea are not here much, but when they were, I had no sense of a mafia feel from their posts. So the last three are on the fence.
The New and the New Gs- very hard to go by intuition when there is no history with a player. But not impossible. And hold that thought. Going to eat, will finish this afterwards.

@Soneji thank you. I get why you find my thoughts at that point in the game seeming to be something they were not. I also mentioned that I had no very deep thoughts at that point, only things I noticed and wanted to keep an eye on. And I asked for feedback on those things, so I could consider opinions from players I trust, and also to see if anyone might try to run interference, to add to my notes. It’s just how I played years ago, and I think in future games, I won’t be doing that anymore. I’ll just ask direct questions to the players who raise an eyebrow, even though it goes against the grain- seems like targeting civs which used to be a no-no.

@Dennis you mentioned that I might have an rl reason for low posting or being inactive. Yes, I mentioned earlier that I was sick. Pisses me off to no end because I was so excited about playing again. But I’m up and around now and I’ll be as present as I can. The flip side of this is that I am usually a low poster, but I start speaking up once I start getting some real vibes. That usually happens by day 3 or 4.

No different than normal, as I normally enter later than most regardless.

In the busier part of my work day and sleep deprived, but I'll get to things later tonight. matahari pressure in nice to see, they have the actual wolfiest post I've seen this game with their d1 readslist.

Can you say why you think my post was the wolfiest you’ve seen? I think I get it, as I don’t notice a lot of that going on. The new way of playing seems to consist of more questioning and a lot of challenging people right out of the gate. I signed up for this game to try and learn stuff about the new way, but I believe it’s going to take a few games before I get used to it. Still, I’ll learn.
Do you see it as wolfy for any reason, other than the difference between old and new?

@Dennis I think you’re doing fabulous. If I didn’t know you through your mom, I would probably be suspicious of your performance and think you had a team. But I don’t think you are mafia at this time, because Ive heard you’re smart and driven to excel, and Kate probably helped prepare you well before the game ever started. My op could change, but I doubt it will.
@Scotty I am still susp of Sabi because her actions during day1 reminded me of old old-school mafia, when a wolf would start to build a case against someone by just slinging a little mud, and later, the teammates would join in and the result would be a miselim. But, nobody joined in right away. That gave me pause, like maybe I was seeing something that just wasn’t there. Then Sabi seemed to back off and give up and I still don’t like it. Unless Sabi flips, I’m not going to know anything for sure. And if she is bad, then I’ll go back and look for anyone who might have subtly supported her.
I could see voting Lucy as a second choice, because I don’t like the reasoning behind her vote for Bea. Low posting is NAI and I don’t understand why someone would use that as criteria for a vote.
If I missed any other questions for me, please remind me. I’ll check in often.

I slept most of the day. I did not intend to.
I still have Sabi as a suspicion, for reasons mentioned on d1, but I have considered that maybe they really mistrusted Seanzie. Then they started to backpedal some, and I’m back to sq1.

Why did Falcon vote Seanzie? Maybe they gave a reason why in an earlier post, but I can’t remember now so I’ll ISO them later or tomorrow.

I don’t understand Lucy’s vote for Bea either, it seems a bad idea to go after low posters, just for being a low poster, this early. (It doesn’t help that I still feel so bad for suspecting Bea in the anni game 1)

I can’t remember what else I read earlier because I’m getting sleepy again but I know there’s more. I’ll post again after I sleep on it.

im back and caught up. I apologize to G-man and players for missing the vote. This is not a great time of year for me, and unpleasantness in the thread yesterday just made me want to walk away for a bit.
However, new day. I’m going to address what I saw that refers to me, and then I have to go and do real life. Before I left, I also thought about the tie option as a way to prevent a possible civ kill. It’s never easy to be absolutely sure someone is bad on the first day, and I liked that option. I posted my d1 thoughts yesterday, and if I had to vote according to the list, it would have been Sabi, for the reasons I listed. But I wouldn’t have been hardcore certain about it, and after playing catch-up this morning, I would have been less certain, had I been here. I would have preferred the tie.
Im still seeing civ Golden, in regards to his OG call. Posts 480 to 486 (I think) are where I saw the civ Golden.

@SVS you might have to move me to the top of your list, based on my hand? Hand won’t be completely normal for a couple more months, but it’s healing well, and I can type. I stepped away for other reasons my list yesterday was just things I noticed that I felt were worth keeping an eye on. I’ve rarely ever had strong feelings about players on day 1. It’s usually day 3 before I start getting deep suspicions against players. But maybe I’ll see things today that I don’t like, if I do, I’ll comment.

I’ll be around today as much as possible, because playing catch up is mental overload.

ebwop to my list post- Golden's posts starting at 480 to 486, felt like classic Town Golden to me. I respect whenever a player decides to change their meta, Idk if that sounds right, I still say playstyle. But I needed to see that flash of Old Golden to feel the town coming through.

I looked up Soneji, They only made 2 posts, so they go in with the group of players I wish to hear something from.

falcon45ca: I also don't really trust Golden, albeit might be for different reasons. His vibes don't strike me as hitting the notes of his scum game.

Scotty: Has been active and prodding, and also mostly harmless. I think of the townleans I have, his is the least strongest, but GTH, I do think he's town, and I have seen enough content from him to slot him here for now.

Matahari: Some of her thoughts that she posted in #529 lack direction. That is fine. But I get the feeling that she is pushing herself to talk about players when she doesn't have anything specific to say about them. Soneji in particular.

Thank you for the rainbow list. You're absolutely correct that some of my list lacks direction. As I said, I was posting my thoughts as the game progressed, On day 1, its hard for me to draw hard conclusions. The people I listed are people I was pinged by, which is an ancient mafia term for watch-worthy/mildly suspicious.

From the linki- I listed Soneji because I wanted my list to cover everyone in the game. I just couldn't remember what, if anything, they had posted. I have time to go searching for their posts, now, but he was a mystery to me in my list.

Falcon45ca- I didn't find it suspicious that you chose someone quickly because with movable votes, it seems like a lot of players throw votes around in a slap-happy fashion. then you were questioned about it, and you promptly posted quotes for why you made your vote. This looked legit to me at the time. Later it occurred to me that maybe you did all that too quickly, Pre-planned? But someone, Sabiplz, I think, said this was normal for your town game.

Soneji posted, I think, but I'll need to go back and look to make sure. ???

Lucy- so far, is reminding me of Dr. Wilgy. Too random to read, and weird posting just annoys me because I don't know what to do with it. I'd like to hear from players who are familiar with them.

Seanzie made a very risky statement for a town player to make. Or just an 'I can't be bothered' statement. Since it was preceded by an 'Ugh', I'm going with the former.

Sabiplz drew attention to his post, then backed away from it, then said she rarely voted early or often, then 17 minutes later she voted for Seanzie. None of this feels right.

Golden got a vote from Falcon, and although Falcon's reasons would not be enough to convince me to vote someone, I thought they were ok for a day 1. However after post 486 ( I think, I'll go back and check later and do an ebwop if necessary), I have Golden as town.

Marmot, no clue. I'd like to hear what other players think of him. ???

Everyone else, I have as probably town. I have no absolutes this early, but I'm watching the players above who pinged me. I'd like to hear what other players think of my not so deep thoughts, please.

I think Marmot has been a decent player thus far this game. He was MIA for the early part of Day 1, but I don't think that's AI for him. When he did show up, he's posted an assortment of fluff, but he's at least mixed some well-thought reads into those posts. His tone is pretty stellar. Actually, I'm gonna go ahead and call him locktown for now, but if he's still alive and hasn't killed a wolf by Day 4, I'll definitely reconsider.

Seanzies post about tunneling is bothersome, I'm not sure how to interpret it, and Falcons post explaining what bothered him about Golden was acceptable, to me. I don't necessarily agree with it but at least, it's surface clean.
Scotty seems like the same as the anniversary game, he notices everything, and questions everything, and he was civ there. (That doesn't clear him, but something I note).
That's as far as the feels go right now, because I need more time before I start making judgements.
There is nothing about me or my posts that are bothersome. I am the epitome of unbothereomeness. I am about as bothersome as a soak in a jacuzzi. As bothersome as a warm, clear summer eve.
