Uhhhh... what? Would you please care to explain why?
Sure, be glad to. You've been very blendy. You mentioned suspicions of Aces. But you haven't followed up on this, why not? He has almost dropped off the radar.

You were also suspicious of Dom, but again, you haven't followed up.

You voted dex for his odd style but dismissed vomps for his odd style. Why?

Are you still suspicious of aces and Dom, and why or why not?
You people throw the word "blendy" around like it's candy.
There was quality discussion of bea and indi and whoever else going on at the time. Why bust in and throw in more of what I already said? I explained it all before when I said I was suspicious of them. I am still suspicious of Aces for reasons previously stated (going after agleaminranks for his play style, etc.) And I said I was suspicious of Dom because he was making a lot of long posts that seemed like they had some substance to it, but actually he was just restating what had been said a bunch of times before, and had basically no input in any of his posts. I have since seen an improvement in the quality of his posts and he is no longer on the top of my suspect list. And no, I did not vote dex because of his odd style for the same reason I dismiss vomps for his odd style. I do not vote based on play style alone, everyone plays differently. Those two can be a bit eccentric in their ways but that by no means makes it a reason to vote for either of them. The reason I voted for dex was because he was here, posting, but not contributing anything at all to the game. When someone posts things like "I saw a bandwagon forming so I jumped on it" with no rhyme or reason as to what allegiance that person actually is, then that person is causing more hurt than help, and in my opinion, shouldn't be alive in the game anymore. Happy?

Bullzeye wrote:I think Spaghetti has actually made more posts in this game than he did in Video Game Mafia, which lasted 14 Days and he won, so my general opinion there is that he might just always be quiet. That said, he was a baddie in VGM but whether that's indicative of his alignment here or not I couldn't say.
You can ask just about anybody here and they'll confirm that I am generally a very quiet player. But in VGM I had a lot of RL stuff going down during that game and I didn't have the heart to keep current with it and actually participate. The only reason I kept sending in my night powers from time to time was that I sometimes popped into the BTSC with my baddie team just to have someone to talk to and they reminded me to send in my night powers.

Re: [DAY 5] Bioshock Mafia

Just checking in from South Carolina while on vacation! I do not think vomps was baddie, I was feeling pretty good about him being good. As I do not have much time and not much to go on since I am very far behind, the most I have to go on is what I saw of Dex (assuming he is still doing the same as he did the first few days) and Im not feeling good about his bandwagon jumping and such anyways. So I'm going to be voting dex and get on out of here

Re: [DAY 4] Bioshock Mafia

I see I've got a lot of catching up to do. And I apologize in advance that I am going on a family vacation and will not be able to check in much (though I will as much as possible) I am here for tonight and can clear up any questions people have for me, I think some people had said some things that they suspected me earlier.

Re: [DAY 3] Bioshock Mafia

While llama is still looking a bit sketch in my book, I don't think I'm going to vote for him. I think he is at least contributing to the game, which makes me want to put my vote elsewhere for this lynch. I'm looking at people like Dom, who, while it looks like he's contributing, hasn't really done anything but quote and make some vague statement that just summarizes what other people have already said. I'm also looking at Dex, because really? I mean, you usually tend to annoy me in pretty much every game I've played with you Dex, but this one is just taking the cake. "Hopping on another bandwagon" well great, good job. That's helping a lot. I think I'm going to vote Dex.

Just dropping in. I can see how you can see juliets as possibly being civvie, but why LT as baddie? Care to explain? And my thoughts on vomp: He is usually quite bizarre in his ways and especially now with lizzy in the game. I'm trying hard to see if i can read anything off of him but I cant seem to get much. I am, however, seeing Mongoose as a bit wishy washy with the whole "I'm 350% suspicious of vomps" and then "Lets maybe not go after vomps so hard just yet in case he's civ like AP" deal going on.

agleaminranks wrote:Nah, I like watching everything unfold from the afueras. That's just how I like to play mafia. I'll leave the public speculation to you folks. Forgive the intrusion, I'll only butt in when the game dictates I have to.

Well then, I'm going to force you to play :)

I'm going to vote for you tomorrow, and I am going to campaign for other people to vote for you too.

(I'm also looking at a few other people, and I might post my thoughts later if I can bring them all together. But for right now, this seems like the most fun thing to devote my time too.)

Added: Quiet players get a rougher time because being quiet usually means you are trying to blend in and avoid notice. Something baddies do. It's harder for a bad player to be vocal because they have to bullshit most of the time, and it is only a matter of time before someone calls you on bullshit. Some people are really good and being vocal baddies, but it is a difficult art to master.

I'm reading you as baddie. Perfectly content to sit back and watch everyone else make mistakes while you slide by day by day. Not on my watch.

Added: Novel reasoning Dex.
Just wanna say something because this is what gets me frustrated at almost every single mafia game. Just because a player is quiet does not mean they are bad. Yes, baddies do sometimes lay low to avoid attention. But baddies also can be talkative in a game. Play style does not dictate affiliation on either the good or the bad teams. Just ask MP. He is always one of the most vocal people in every game and just because he is vocal does not make him a civilian every single time, just as someone being a quieter player does not make him or her a baddie. The problem with these games, as Kev (agleaminranks) pointed out, is that the antics that happen in each game most of the time consists of someone throwing out some bullhonkey accusation that seems to stick with everyone else for some reason and then that person ends up getting killed. There is never any concrete evidence and the whole game plays out as more of a guess-and-check type deal and the people that win are the people that happened to get luckier than everyone else. As mattchu pointer out earlier, the things that would incriminate someone happen outside of public knowledge in the thread, and the reasons people get lynched is usually for some reason that has nothing supporting it, just some half-hearted accusations that cant necessarily be proved or disproved, just people hop on board with it. "BADDIES DO THIS, YOU MUST BE BADDIE" is not a reason to kill someone, nor is "I READ YOU AS A BADDIE YOU MUST BE BAD EVERYONE VOTE HIM" Point is, play style does not make someone bad, good, or anything for that matter. It's like saying someone cant write good literature because they are left handed.

Re: [DAY 1] Bioshock Mafia

I really don't see why everyone is jumping on a kill matt (A Person) bandwagon so soon for something that is being dubbed as a "slip-up" and people saying they don't understand what he is saying. I understand perfectly what he is saying and it makes a lot of sense. It is all very logical; would someone try to correct me if I said that as long as your team is alive, you win? No. And in this game, is there not a couple different teams of civilians AS WELL as baddies? So him saying that he is likely to not vote his team by randomizing (which, granted, could be one of the civilian teams OR bad teams) does not necessarily place him on either side. And he is definitely right about why someone should be voted for. Why would a baddie post anything that could potentially make him a target for the next vote? The things that would incriminate someone happen outside of the game, outside of the knowledge of all the civilians. In my mind, I'm definitely looking more at people who vote without explanation as opposed to people like A Person, who at least say they are voting randomly. Which is why I will be voting for Dex.

Oh gosh. Last time I took a gift from Alex it ended up blowing up two thirds of the remaining players in the mafia game. I'm gonna have to give this one some serious thought
