I looked at the roles to try to figure it out, but I couldn't.
But I did notice the Pit Bull role... "Any player who votes for it will feel intimidated, and become unable to vote for the Pit Bull in the following day. This effect will only affect each player once in the game."
Some players might be unsure of how this role works, so I thought it might be best to clarify it for everyone. Dragon D. Luffy Does this, in essence, make a vote for the Pit Bull like a role-check on him? Is the player notified that they voted for the Pit Bull? I assume this is only for the final vote at the end of the lynch, and not for moving votes?
Just some examples of questions players might possibly have.

I am also down with the Drago vote. Just the Day 1 lynch is enough to earn a vote, really. Rej pushed the lynch to me and away from Drago.

Yeah, me too I guess. Fayt has good points against, probably summarized in the JJJ case, but her behaviour at the end of Day 3 looks good.
Nutella, I had some issues with today... would the final Cat be this aggressive at this stage though? Or sit back and let the lynch happen?
Drago I have never really shed my suspicion of. Does the last Cat pull that last-second vote on a tied lynch between two Civs? Why?
Which one of us is acting like the last baddie who needs to last for a few more Days to win?

Why shouldn't we try you? Your extreme eagerness to slam the lynch on Fayt despite the latest behavioural counter-evidence is concerning. And now you're all too willing to go along with a Dom lynch. The last Cat can easily support the lynch of any Dog.

Re: Dogs vs. Cats [Day 4]
I agree that Fayt looks Dog. Faced with the tied vote and possible JJJ softvote, the game would have been over if Fayt were bad. Yet she didn't jump on JJJ to save her life at the last second... Drago did that for some reason.
How could the last Cat go ahead and give away the game like that?

If you were a cat, and the voted was tied, then there would still be a 50% chance JJJ dies (if the tie-mechanic is a coin-flip). That's why it wouldn't have cleared you. You could have been taking the risk.

Re: Dogs vs. Cats [Day 3]
No one gets cleared in a tie. A lucky dog gets protected from lynch, that's all, or a cat gets even odds.
To clear someone, we'd need to see a 5-4 vote or something, where the 4 goes down. Maybe we should do that instead.

No reason not to put it on Fayt right now, I guess. But I don't really feel right on Fayt. JJJ is the person I have voted for before, and I'd rather be consistent in my vote, than to jump on to someone I have defended in the past.
I think a tie is still a wise goal, but maybe someone on JJJ will trade-vote me and hop over to Fayt? Just my OCD maybe, but what do ya say?

Say it’s 3-3, one dog one cat
Soft voter votes dog and activates, cat auto lynched
Soft voter votes cat and activates, coin flip
So yeah that’s what I meant

We can't know who the soft voter is though. And with one cat left, the "conclusiveness" will be moot when the cat dies, right?novaselinenever wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2019 1:43 pm Putting them at 1 vote difference can potentially be good. That is correct, we can't use that role for better than a 50/50 coin toss shot. However, if the soft-vote is on a dog, then it 100% protects THAT dog from lynch. I think that's a worthy goal.novaselinenever wrote: ↑Sat Oct 19, 2019 1:41 pmThat'd be inconclusive. Can't conclude if softvoter was on the losing wagon, or if it's coin toss loss.

I don't think it's role fishing. We know which roles are here and which roles are dead. And it could be any voter on either side of the tie, so it doesn't particularly point to any one player to put them in danger.

Michelle looks authentic today, but I still lack a concrete or objective basis to clear her.
Mac never entertained anything I said for a second, so there’s room for opportunism. I don’t feel that way about nutella or Dom right now.
If it’s not Fayt, Michelle and Mac are my next suspects up. If someone I have long trusted is a deep cat, perhaps it’s Long Con. I don’t get it, but plenty of intelligent and talented players have beefed. So those four would probably be my present POE: Fayt, Michelle, Mac, LC.
I was authentic... wow.. Feels like you give a little bone for me and i should swag tail and bark happy.
Who gives a damn on authenticity nowadays? Not JJJ who inserts me in his Poe like he knows everything :/

Re: Dogs vs. Cats [Day 3]
I don't have any issues with going to the office and timing and all that.
To me, it comes down to this: Is the TSP experiment real, and it worked like a charm on the baddie team? I can easily believe that, and I like the experiment very much.
Or, is it a Master Plan that went too far and started looking suspicious? Did baddie JJJ deliberately set this "TSP is Civ" thing up from the start, just so he could nightkill him, expecting everyone to forget WIFOM and just applaud the plan and brand him Civ?
I mean, JJJ has been around a while. I don't know if he, as a baddie, would a) try that plan at all, and b) would remotely expect it to work on this ragtag group of conspiracy theorists.
