I agree that we're probably getting played by epi but there aren't enough votes there for me to vote that way today.

If so, I want evidence of this, because I am almost certain that, in the times we have played together, I rarely ever went after you.
Look at the last two games we played. Gentlemen's guide you were after me on day one which led to it being me vs you and led to your lynch (we were both civs there) and in recruitment you tried calling me a liar for saying I was unrecruited (and I wasn't recruited at that point) a day or two later you attempted to nk me, by that time I was recruited and was a civ. (luckily I was a dragon that night and you ended up getting yourself killed)

I decided to link to this post instead of quoting it since it's so damn long. I think a lot of thought has gone into this post. Two people that stand out to me is Epignosis and Russ.

I'm not used to Epi have a positive look at LC. He often thinks LC is bad and leaves him alone as neutral. With all the crap that was going on with LC I'm surprised he didn't jump on the lynch train himself. He has gone after him for less.

Russ didn't seem to want to make up his mind. Now I would have to go back and read Russ to make up my mind on him as well but if I recall his was a last minute vote changer as well.

After reading this particular post I have no suspicion of Sorsha. Sorsha and LC have been playing together for eons and they respect each other. LC has been really bad at reading her, she is a hard player to read. I believe that to be an honest assessment.
Sorsha
votes LC... for CEO spot (good leadership)
D1 implies she read something into LC's bait tactic, but later questions his choice for bea; finds his replies unrealistic
doesn't find LC to have backpedalled
===
> agreed with b24 on BWT's case, voted BWT
Just a copy and paste I didn't keep the fancy colouring.

This is not a new tactic LC has used and he often does try it as a civvie, not surprised she believed him. Hell I would have.

Anyways, I'm not voting for Sorsha today. I'd be surprised if she was bad.

I can't think of a time we have openly lynched someone we thought was civ just to get better reads on other players. Which is really what I think you're doing.
No, I don't think you are a townie. I don't know what your alignment is. I have no BTSC with you and I haven't been given the roles so I am at best guessing just like everyone else in regards to everybody's roles. I'm saying we lynch you because through your play up until now, and I cased you yesterday if you recall and was close to voting you over golden until he all but begged town to lynch him for the promise of a scum flip, you are more likely scum right now than anyone else in my opinion.

I just happened to also point out that should you turn out civ (and I'm not the kind of townie who assumes I'm a telepath, so I am open to the possibility :P) that there is some to be gained from your flip. More so than anyone else flipping civ in fact. Your interactions, the votes on you, the days and days of suspicion you've gathered. It's about the best possible breadcrumb trail that any flipped civ would have.

It also bears pointing out that I was one of your top two town reads. I think it's quite strange that you would look at one single isolated post that is really inconsequential to anyone with the capacity to understand the benefit of sacrifice for gain, and let it erase your days of built up trust. It makes all your casing and all your reads up until now seem very non genuine.

I've not outright tried to lynch anyone who I knew to be a townie before either. But I have pushed for lynching scum candidates over others before when the potential of their town flip has been putting the town in a better situation. This is the same situation. Have you genuinely never factored into a lynch the benefit to the town of the potential of the lynch being a civ flip? Because that's good strategy sorsha.

I note that I'm pretty sure that's the first time bcornett has made mention of me, and I happened to be a full fledged scum read. Interesting. I note that you've been flying nicely under the radar since nearly getting lynched on day 1. Talk more.

If I feel more pressured I can point out half a dozen other things that make it impossible for me to be scum, but for now suffice to say I think you're just overreacting to your possible lynch and jumping at shadows.
I just don't think this is working out between us anymore :puppy:

If following your vote without staying your follower is truly sufficient, then I don't see a reason not to. Votes are changeable, so TSers would only need to click one vote beside you and then move on to their personal suspects (presumably with a bold vote also placed). If I understand you correctly at least.

The highlighted bit is a crucial detail though.
If it was insufficient, it would do no harm.
So all TSers should place a vote for the player you have voted for, even if only temporary.

This would make your seductee (that's not a word) susceptible to night actions directed at you also, right? And vice-versa?
I don't want to get into anything about what my role might or might not be.

But I do think it is worth others thinking about and putting in the thread the reasons why following my vote might be beneficial if you are a civ. You have correctly stated what I am suggesting people do.

I feel like a lost little puppy :pout:
Sorsha wrote:Elo why don't you just ask to be replaced?

Here you go sig and whoever else wants it:

Bad:
bea- Like I said earlier, I wouldn’t be surprised if LC got the go ahead btc from bea to use her for his ruse.

Epignosis- Completely avoided the LC/bea posts, tried to steer the lynch away from LC. Placed a vote temporarily on seaside then switched it to bcornet at the end which helped out with LC’s x3 vote.

Devin- Until today hadn’t contributed much. The rainbow list I started yesterday I had “Leaning bad on Devin. He’s keeping up with the thread and posting answers to game mechanics and various questions but little in the way of suspicions except for Diiny.” Today he has defended Epi so that doesn’t look good to me either.

Probably good:
Golden- The only thing I find sus about his is his vote for bcornet at the end of the lynch, especially paired with LC’s x3. But….. I only skimmed over the golden v jjj posts, those I see him coming from a civ pov and, like me, I don’t see him defending LC like that if they were teammates.

Good:
My two biggest civ reads are Zebra and Mac, thinking bullz is civ so far and Strawhenge. I doubt that Black Rock is bad, I don’t think that role would be on its 2nd replacement by the 3rd day if it was a btsc baddie role and I don’t think Bubbles would have dropped out if she were bad either. (she has a history of never getting a baddie role so I think she’d stick it out if she did)

bcornet- I suspected him enough to vote for him yesterday but I don’t think that LC would have voted for him/tied it/nearly gotten him lynched if he was a teammate. I don't see him being bad with the way yesterdays lynch went down.
This looks favorable to me, though in this case specifically little is provided to back up her opinions which could mean that she is piggy backing off of other's reads.
Sorsha wrote:You guys already have you mind made up about me.

I'd literally be the worst baddie ever to defend LC like I did though. But what can I really say? I can't take back the fact that I defended him
I agree with this and by no means is she a new player. I can't see her purposefully attempting to get herself lynched by defending LC and then being wrong about if she knew he was mafia, this would be rather counter intuitive.
Yes, it would. And also the TIMING of when I defended LC. Sure I voted for him to be CEO but that was before he did his bea ploy. Once he did that I was leaning bad on him until the very end (take a look at jjj’s iso it shows this more clearly) There is just no way that I'd try that being his teammate.(I wish The Piano mafia was still up so I could go find the quote (from LC himself) basically calling me an ice hearted mafia who will throw her btsc mafia mates under the bus in the blink of an eye.)

I think Epi singled out the seven of us to. He did make posts on a couple of us but I don't remember which ones. (and I'm getting ready for work right now so I don't have time to check myself)
I think this is the worst post due to language used "I think Epi singled out the seven of us to." but taking this as an iso might remove the context in which she was referring to. And if the context isn't removed this would then be a huge scumslip which makes even less sense for a veteran player.
There was another post in there too that went with this thread but wasn’t quoted by me:

I disagree with the first statement, and with whoever said almost these exact same words before (I think it was Zebra).

The number selected is seems arbitrary and unfounded. Picking suspects based on that is illogical in my opinion.

Why those two?
We were discussing the players who had chosen just 2 of the 7 bwt voters as suspicious. I was saying that Epi had as well.

Something else I noticed is that much of her content end swith questions which redirects content away from herself. This could also be telling, or it could be normal for her, IDK.

If sorsha is mafia she has to be having one bad game right now and people are taking an easy vote trying to focus on her. This is why I feel that she is potentially being setup. By no means am I saying that I'm 100% right, based on the above content, it just feels off to me. You will not see me voting for her without more evidence. This will move her down to a far less suspicious place for me. I want to go back and look at her interactions with other players and see if something strikes me but, that will have to wait until after work, as will my opinions regarding diiny.
Sorsha is civvie and she’s still having a very bad game now. :pout: :sigh:

My dilemma now is if I want to put my vote on Rico just for the padded insurance (so vote manips hopefully won't mess with things) or with golden who I find more suspicious.

Should I take this mean to that you have other suspicions that are unpopular? And if so, what are they?
Not really. "Unpopular" isn't the best word to use here. I have a couple of suspicions that I'm far less confident about. Diiny I'm only slightly confident about. And Epi, I can't see him being one to defend a teammate. But he could have been pretty confident that he could save LC with those defenses. Also, he may have figured that he would blend in with the other people defending LC. IDK. Speculation. I still need to think on this. Other than that I have no strong reads.

Extreme Linkitis. Can I post now???????
No you're really bad because you're defending Epi. You also voted for bwt to be lynched and you got all lurky the next day as your name was tossed about.

Yes. I don't feel strongly that you are bad, but I think the evidence is good - I wouldn't choose to vote for you but I just did because everyone else is so... why not. I think I've made it pretty clear there are plenty of others who I think are a better choice for the lynch, but I don't think you are a bad choice.

Could you try to recall one example of this happening to a civilian LC? It'd help me a lot to believe in your mindset.
If I remembered the game I would have. I know it wasn't this site. It could have been Rev or LP.... The Piano site is gone.

You didn't think his earliest contributions were a little suspect (things like him calling Floyd73 a town read and Mac a rogue read)? I did. I do understand you being hesitant to commit as someone that doesn't know seaside though. I probably wouldn't be able to generate a strong stance in your position either.
Floyd probably is a town, I would imagine he'd be in here or replaced by now if he were mafia. At one point I found Mac suspicious too and like seaside, I have never played with Mac before but Mac and seaside have played with one another before. For all I know seaside was right about him and calling him out early.
Sorsha wrote:5. And this would be the point, if I were his teammate, that I should have begun distancing.... not further defense. Or just kept my mouth shut. Or placed a vote on him. Pretty much anything but what I actually did.
You're right that your defense of LC was blatant. If I were LC's team mate I wouldn't have defended him there either. I think you must understand though why your defense of LC might be viewed with suspicion -- it doesn't imply that you're terrible mafia, it implies that you'd be confident in your ability to evade the trouble that followed.

However, I admit that I am not sure that's what took place. Your conduct in the face of recent pressure shows me that you don't feel good about the position you're in or your ability to stem the tide. That's an important observation so long as one can believe that you are being genuine in your defeatist frustration. I think I might believe you.
I do understand why my defense of him looks suspicious, that's why I am acting as I am. I don't fight that hard because a) I don't have all the time in the world to type up these responses and b) people are still coming in a slapping votes on so the defense doesn't seem to be helping anyway. If I get lynched at least you have my thoughts about who I think is bad. I will flip civ.

Re: [DAY 3] Talking Heads Mafia (RYM #90)

Elo why don't you just ask to be replaced?

What's funny about this, is when I mentioned how Sorsha maybe voted with Eloh in Day 0 all three times to make Elohcin look guilty in the case that Sorsha was lynched and flipped baddie...Sorsha said how ridiculous I was.

But now, you do believe it's possible that members of the Mafia try to associate with civs to make them look guilty?

Also, I had a slight ping on espers, but I'll write out a new post for that one. What's everyone else think of espers?

He has pulled stunts before in games and been lynched civvie.

As for the points made about him being sketchy about me. Of course he, as mafia, would try to associate with or otherwise make a civ look guilty.
