Great game while I was alive! I think I talked more in this than any of my games and really enjoyed it, especially beating everyone single-handedly at the numbers game

Return to “Clue: The Movie [Day 10]”
Dammit, Epi, why do you bring up this point so late in the day?? And I was just thinking in the back of my mind that it was odd how MP has been asking a lot of people's thoughts (especially mine) but offering hardly anything of his own. I wasn't thinking much of it...Epignosis wrote:You can do one of two things if you want my advice.Elohcin wrote:I tend to agree. nijuu has lived and someone else lynched in her place and someone still sees fit to vote for her.
Foolishness. But that's OK.
You can vote for me (I won't be lynched today).
Or you can vote for MP. Recall your time with him in The Hobbit. Was he around and helpful? I think sabie fucked up and he made the most of it.
There have been two contests so far - the numbers game, and the recipe game.Mongoose wrote:To reiterate on what Hedgeowl said on the previous page, it just seems way more likely like The Cook is responsible for the SVS death and not a lynch switch. We don't even know if there are lynch switches this early in the game.
There's only been the one contest so far.
linki wait what. I wasn't intimating she was btw.
Anything you're able to share? Because this also result also makes me wonder some things.Epignosis wrote:This result confirms some things for me.
I also have a few people I can trust.
I'm never sure about him. Ever. But the whole death-resurrect thing that happened makes it seem like he's Civ, by the sheer numbers (could be Boddy, too, but again, numbers). I think mentioned that a little while back, too. Sooooo...at the moment, I'm not looking at him closely, but I always keep an eye that slippery fish :PMovingPictures07 wrote:Blooper, what do you think of Epig this game?

I promise I will try and not be an asshole anymore and actually play now. For realzies.
Indeed. Like, 99% sure.MovingPictures07 wrote:Mostly?

Personally, I think Bass's vote was stranger for getting the facts "mixed up," and then when it was indicated that no, I didn't "hop on" in the end as stated, (s)he (sorry Bass, I'm not sure of your genderMovingPictures07 wrote:Yeah, the fact that people followed me was strange, the fact that they were getting the facts wrong was even stranger. Wow. Did NOT realize people were gonna come after me like that. MP, you're even pointing out the weirdness that these people suddenly come out the woodwork to "agree" with you and muddling the so-called facts (e.g., saying I voted for sabie "at the end." No. Did not happen. I voted for her third out of five people, after discussing and logically changing my mind, with plenty of time to save her had she been my teammate. I'm tired of repeating myself). What are you thinking now, Mr. Sock?
Hedge, you point out my MR vote, and I'll be honest - I forgot about sabie voting for MR in the first poll and didn't think that through when I was posting earlier (I had just spent an hour and half catching up with DW and was both a little brain-dead and needing to leave by 7 to be where I needed to be tonight on time. Excuses, excuses). However, I stand by thinking his behavior/voting patterns have been suspicious and blendy - he voted Epi with no explanation Day 1, then seems inclined to agree and vote with Epi for SVS, then turns around and votes Canuck with no previous inclination towards her, nor an explanation of his own to back it up. Perhaps he's busy. Perhaps he's playing an unconventional baddie game as his teammate votes for him. Perhaps he's Boddy. But he's definitely acting suspicious.
Oh, y'all should totally come to Raeford. It's an experience. I'll make gnocchi for everyone!
I hope I survive long enough to think about this and see what others have to say, as well as look at others, too. Also, voting gnocchi because I made a batch last week and it. Was. AWESOME.
What I'm thinking now is that I don't believe you're bad, and that I look forward to hunting alongside you again, assuming we both survive the night.![]()
What did you think of the votes made against you? Like, does any of them stick out as particularly suspicious? I have my thoughts, but curious to see if you agree.
Why Canuck? Epi provided the slightest, slightest reason why she might be sabie's teammate (general inactivity), but you were just talking about voting SVS. Your votes have been very, very odd, sir, and I'm going ahead and voting for you now in case I don't have time later (I'm driving out of town and celebrating my brother's bday). You seem rather blendy/flying under the radar to me this game.Mister Rearranger wrote:I was thinking Canuck or Kp. Canuck is where my vote will go.

Okay, this is an extremely fair response. Not sure if I believe you yet, but it's a very good defense.
Whom do you suggest looking at then?
GAHHH finally back. Thursdays are hellishly busy!MovingPictures07 wrote:It is a rash but very logical move for a teammate, though, is it not?S~V~S wrote:MovingPictures07 wrote:Elo, she did vote Sabie... that was my point. How am I reaching? She clearly kept trying to push Sabie and MR's situations as being equal, once Sabie even entered the conversation, and before that she was clearly trying to push an MR vote.
Then she later votes Sabie and says Sabie's was the "most opportunistic" yet just three posts before she was essentially equating them in suspicion.
The thing about Bloopers vote, though, was that she was the third vote for Sabie, when MR had two and there were still several people to vote. That seems like a rash move for a teammate. But I have to agree with you regarding her posts. MR was not all that, I only voted for him because of his vote, becasue of the posting thing, i had no real suspicions of anyone at that point.
I hope things go better for you!sabie12 wrote:I honestly am out and had to pjck something I had no time to do anything today and my life sucks right now so maybe its for the best.

True. Now I want two explanations. In less than ten minutes.MovingPictures07 wrote:I mean, that's true, BUT the timing is totally different. It would not be in a baddie's benefit to vote the way MR did, but it would be in a baddie's benefit to save a teammate to bandwagon, or I guess just to bandwagon in general, which Sabie COULD be doing.nijuukyugou wrote:Understandable, but MR's post wasn't really much better than not posting at all. Still waiting on her response, or I will vote her.

But they are definitely both weird. I'm still far from feeling real confident in a Sabie vote, but it's better than random, and we've given her a chance to explain it. The possible baddie benefit is what makes it worse than MR's. Why she didn't explain it though... that seems unfavorable. So... IDK.

That's why I wanted an explanation. His post about his vote indicates nothing, including being facetious about it (no smileys, no other comments, and he really didn't have much banter with Epi to constitute joking).Bass_the_Clever wrote:I know I have seen people vote for someone on day one as a joke is there any chance that is what MR was doing ?

I've re-read this thread three or four times today and the only remotely suspicious thing is that vote (if I'm going to give kpence the benefit of the doubt, which I am right now). But you make a good point about doing something that weird on Day 1 - rather risky for a baddie so early. Gahhhhh I just want an explanation!MovingPictures07 wrote:No one's going to beat me.nijuukyugou wrote:And I to beat everyone in a numbers game singlehandedly. It's not going so well.
