Nobody has been more up-front than Made has when it comes to the puzzle-solving.

Despite all the suspicion and vote switching going around for MR and Eloh, I am going to vote Made because I feel stronger about him, and I see that others, while they seem divided about the other two, agree with this assumption. While I read Made 2.0 as his regular Civ self at first, the more the game has gone on, the more he pings me. He is overconfident in how he thinks others view him as Civ. His expression of disbelief that he was NOT NK'ed a few Nights ago with that comment pinged me. He was oddly adamant about the whole battle between those going after the Triforce of Courage and only having two people be in it (the logic in that is still beyond me). He makes comments (like the one last night about the Triforce pieces and guardians) that imply he knows more than he should, if he were Civ.

RIP Liz and Dom As for my Liz vote, as I'd said before, I was a bit pinged with her sabie vote explanation to "get it over with," among other things, but at that time I was after Russ for weird behavior. I had since recanted my suspicion of Russ yesterday and Liz had again pinged me with her reluctance to solve the puzzle in-thread. Clearly, those were the wrong reasons.

And now, I don't know what to think. Re-read time, I suppose.

While I haven't played many of the games that are being mentioned with llama, I often feel the same way about him that I do about Epi - bold, avant-grade, and hard to read. Judging by what I've personally seen in other games, I haven't seen anything to the contrary this game, or really much that sticks out that I could construe as baddie behavior.

I've pulled up to this momentous occasion that is a friend's baby shower (and hear the screaming kids on the playground. Joy.) so I must be sociable for the next few hours. I will put my vote on Liz for the reasons stated in my last post.

And for the record, posting via phone sucks. So very much.

Thoughts, as promised:

1) I finally went back and looked at Dom, and is certainly IS quieter than usual. He usually guns after somebody (or a few somebodies) pretty hardcore throughout the game, but he has done none of that this game. Not sure if he's burned out or changing up his playstyle, but it's not something I've seen before.

2) I am not sure about Russ anymore. I've voted him twice, but I'm starting to lean that he is Civ, when going back and thinking about what MR said (and what Russ pleaded at what he thought was his end, as I now see). My vote on him was behavior based, but it is logical that the way he is acting might be odd, but not in conjunction with someone who is bad, necessarily. I wouldn't put it past anyone in mafia to play the Civs like that as a baddie, so I'll still keep an eye on him, but I'll also look in other directions.

I was thinking the same thing. I had thought her vote for sabie "to get it over with" had been odd, but then she said she had to vote quickly, which at the time seemed fairly genuine. I agree that despite being new, she seems to know the game (mafia) rather well, and only laments not knowing the "playstyle" of others in the game, which could be coaching (she couldn't really play off pretending to know someone's playstyle). And the whole thing about the riddle got me confused and a bit suspicious.

I will have to vote relatively early today, as I must attend a baby shower out of town in the afternoon (meh), but I'll take a bit more time to think and vote before I leave. And hopefully check the thread/discuss more throughout the morning/early afternoon.

I...did not get that for the riddle answer. But I did have a music theory answer (don't get too excited - I got frustrated and sent something ridiculous when I ran out of time earlier). You win some, you lose some. I feel inadequate as a musician and a human being, though.

I am also wondering the same things many are wondering (why no lynch, who will get the Triforce of Courage, etc. etc.). I had wondered what would happen in the event of a tie earlier, and...well, here we are.

Also, I am usually good with riddles, but shit...this one has me stumped. I also thought it might have something to do with minor chords/keys, especially with the song, but Dom says his PM would argue against that. I will waste wisely use more of my planning period to ponder this

Hey y'all, sorry I just got off of work (Thursday = after school tutoring = ew staying at work until darkness).

I suspected Russ last time, and while he put up an admirable defense, I think his odd behavior outweighs it and it can't be ignored. Dom is certainly quieter than what I'm used to, but I'm definitely more suspicious of Russ.

Question is, if MR and and splints still have zero votes by the end, what happens to the Triforce?

I was also wondering the mechanics of this - the person on the poll with the fewest votes gets the Triforce? What if there's a tie in either direction?

Wow. 9 votes for sabie. I'm not entirely sure why people are so sure she's bad, and why so many people have voted. Liz's vote to "get it over with" looks pretty off, too. My own initial ping with sabie had to do with her eagerness to see Made 2.0 as bad the day he was made...Made 2.0, but otherwise, not really sure. A lot of people are saying "insincere posting" and others seem to be voting "just because." This is worrisome, so even if it doesn't do much for the lynch today, I'm not gonna add vote #10.

Russ, I applaud your effort to get votes off of sabie and your massive case on splints, but you're all over the place, dude. One minute you're hardcore on splints, and then you're not. Same thing with the Boogs lynch, except in the opposite direction (not as hardcore on Boogs as your were with splints, but still). I understand that opinions can change, but I've played before with people who are "wishy-washy" in the thread and are bad, and others who point fingers at everyone they can, then back off to sneak suspicion in and they've been bad. This "all over the place-ness" (this is also a word because I said so) pings me more than sabie. Honestly, I'm really surprised no one has pointed this out as suspicious (unless I missed something, and sorry if I did and I'm taking credit). I'm putting my vote on Russ.

@sabie - You are doing nothing wrong! I think many people can attest to playing all different ways and getting themselves lynched, but also being able to stay alive and win. Talk too little, get lynched. Talk too much, get lynched. Too helpful, not helpful, too much in the middle, get lynched. It's a difficult game to get used to (I know I often have trouble keeping up and it took me a while to get used to accusing people while also realizing/hoping they won't get mad), but please keep playing!

Boogs still looks weird to me. Almost every post is "Ganon this, Ganon that," which just reads like he wants to verbally mark himself as Civ. His recent post chastising his "Ganon teammates" looked off, too - let's look at the betters because they might be mafia, but let's also blame the non-betters for not contributing to Almighty Ganon. It's all over the place, and while he says he's being chastised for being "helpful," this kind of post isn't particularly helpful because of the confusion. (For the record, I didn't bet because...well, I honestly forgot, and I'm a little annoyed with myself. I may not be a gambler in real life, but video game money? Put it on the table )

On another note, LizKeen mentioned that she's not convinced Made isn't a baddie. I'd like to see why (she said she'd mention it). I'd also like to see if sabie still has suspicion of Made, as well. He's talking again and filling the thread with ideas, so nothing out of the ordinary yet for Made 2.0 in my opinion.

Lots of suspicions going around today. I was looking at Boogs on Day 1, and I also haven't really changed my mind much about him. The cheerleading for Team Ganon, as LizKeen mentioned, seems too..."hey hey look I'm a Civ!" And his eyeball towards Liz for pointing it out doesn't really help the case.

Hedgeowl reads sincere to me so far, but I've been wrong about her before. However, one of my gut reads in Clue with her was right before I was brutally lynch-switch-killed. Right now, my gut says good, so I'll stick with that for now.

Sabie's giving me a bit of a baddie vibe, and I believe it's coming from her keenness to see Made as bad this time around. The guy was just lynched for being talkative and outspoken, and now he's being called out for being quiet? If Made's quiet for a lot longer, then I'd look at his behavior as strange, but I can definitely see him just chilling until the heat around him dies. AP has been extremely quiet in games and has been replaced in several, so I don't think the untalkativeness (that's a word now) from either is necessarily strange at the moment.

I'd like to carve a pumpkin before tomorrow, so I'm gonna go do that. And shower. And laundry. And more of my life than you cared to know about. Voting sabie, because I feel strongest about her right now.

Hello, all! I see the Day 1 confusion/indecision is its usual self :P Thoughts:

1) Made's "experimentation": While his sudden, unprovoked trust of llama, sabie, and Hedgeowl is...odd, well, so is Made. He's played more than a few games, and I'd like to think he wouldn't be that sloppy from the get-go if he were bad. Like to think.

2) MR said his self-vote was a placeholder, so I'm going to see it as such, unless he doesn't change it. I agree - actually voting for oneself on Day 1 is strange behavior, but a lot of people were playing with the poll earlier and self-voting to check the change mechanism (and for good reason, apparently :P), and the votes have switched around.

3) Boogs' question about the roles struck me as odd - sure, the number of roles looked daunting at first glance for a speed game, but it was explained in the rules. This could be a genuine mistake (as Made's trust could be just Made being weird), but it could be a slip, too, and it's really the only thing so far that's caught my attention.

I'm going to go shopping for Halloween things and stuff before I wait til the last-last minute, but I shall return.
