I can't be sure if it's plural, but I figured? Weeping Angel, Lucy Saxon, one more space. I don't think The Valeyard is in the game.

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Day 5

Well, guys, this is it. Sorry I sucked so much in this game. I was actually trying to be a good civvie, I swear! I was screwed the moment it became me vs Made, but ah well. Lots of fun! Thanks Bea and BWT for the great game. I died wayyy too early in Monty Python, and now I'm completely addicted to Mafia again :D I don't know if I want to play two games at once, but whether it's in Zelda or Monopoly, you'll see me again soon. :srsnod:

Keep in mind how MP and Made's last second votes created a wide margin between us, a wide enough margin that I wouldn't get automatically lynched and Made wouldn't immediately be outed as bad.

Seconds before the poll ended, it was 12-11 to Made. If we tied, a coin flipped, and I got lynched, Made would have been outed. MP needed to change his vote so that wouldn't happen, or maybe he was afraid of somebody coming in last second and tying up the poll. Them both voting at the last second makes it look like poor coordination: MP would have been freaking out the deadline was there and Made hadn't voted, or vice-versa.

This fits perfectly with MP's last second vote to save Made in Day 3. I honestly never thought the Snow Dog case was a save, but I'm beginning to have doubts about MP and Dana (not to mention MM's dodgy behavior), and it just happens to fit in perfectly with the events of Day 4.

MP thinks that because I've turned on him "I'm bad as fuck," but put yourself in my position. I haven't been defending MP and Dana all game because I had any sort of info, but because I found myself agreeing with their points a lot and found myself in similar positions. But that doesn't mean shit. I'm being played and set up for a lynch. The Monty Python endgame (which I obviously can't talk about in detail) also has me wondering about my propensity to trust in players that I can agree with. I've been a crappy civvie thus far in the game, and I'm not gonna pin that on anybody else, but I shouldn't trust people so easily.

MP and Made have to be bad, and while I'm less sure about her, the Dana connection comes naturally. I'll make sure to get a better read on her if I still can tomorrow.

linki- You were also a leading lynch candidate going into Day 4, but then you decided to go MIA and the votes were completely split between me and Made. Sorry, man, I don't believe you.

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Day 5

I mean, Dom, that he succesfully convinced you not to vote for him.

Juliets, Made's lynch was always going to end up with my own. I went over a few possibilities after the lynch. I haven't posted a lot since, so it should be easy to find, but I think the plan was to great a gap between our votes so that he wouldn't be outed as bad when I had one vote less and got lynched anyway. Note how before the night post MP was advocating for Made's civvieness. They thought they could get away with it, but I was screwed one way or another.

If Made had survived the night, I'd still be winning the poll, wouldn't I? It was always lose-lose for me.

Funny that people are ignoring that option.

If he is Dalek Emperor and were targeted with an NK, he would die. If he were that civvie role, then I suppose he could die or live, I don't really know. And if he is The Master, then surely he would survive. So... whether anyone wants to target him with an NK, I don't know if it makes sense to or not. But it's up to them.

I think we should lynch Enrique tomorrow, assuming he doesn't die during the night, but if my suspicions are correct, then he won't.

And assuming this is true, which makes a lot of assumptions so I'm hesitant to declare it, but if Made is Dalek Emperor and Enrique is Cyber Controller, then we definitely had a baddie v. baddie on different teams dynamic going on yesterday, which might actually make some sense. But I suppose we'll find out.

Oh, and Made, I was trying to bring LC to everyone's attention long before you. ;)
You're so bad...
MovingPictures07 wrote:Oh, and I forgot to address this in that post:

Snow Dog, you asked why I changed my vote? I was prepared to change it because I was fully expecting Made to vote Enrique, changing the vote from 11 v. 12 to 12 v. 12, and I even had it open in a different window. I did not want a "tie". Then I saw that he voted himself, but I went ahead and changed my vote anyway, thinking, it doesn't really hurt to have extra space in between both the voters.
Is that what happened, or were you trying to make sure there was a substantial vote difference so you could frame me at the last second? Now you can be like "OK, Made is a civvie now" hoping that when I get lynched tomorrow (because let's be real here that's probably gonna happen) and I flip civ you can keep Made alive anyway.

I admit I have a weakness in Mafia to think that all the people I find myself agreeing with are good. Fuck that. I knew the moment I read the end of this lynch that MP and Made are fucking with us in this desperate attempt to buy Made more time while also wasting a lynch on me. Made is probably the Dalek Emperor, and whichever one MP is, they're both bad as fuck.

re: Chris and MM, I actually kinda buy Chris' explanation, which sucks because I thought I was onto something. Chris some clarity might help next time :p

The way Enrique and Made voted seemed to me they were team mates with Made being unlynchable. Made voted himself to make as sure as possible Enrique didn't get lynched.
Yeah, that's very possible, I think Enrique is bad either way. I just think it's possible they were opposing baddies but based on their behavior it could go that way for sure.

There's the chance Made is that civvie role I was talking about, which scares me, but I'm not sure his behavior lines up with it.
Made is not a civvie role. You spent the last few hours of the lynch last night denying the possibility that Made could be the Dalek Emperor because you knew he would be. You were "unsure" about me the whole game, but then raise the most contrived points ever because this was your plan all along. I appear as Made's teammate he was trying to save, I get lynched, I'm a civvie, oh! So Made probably is a civvie too! I thought we were inevitably linked??

That can be a problem vote changes. I don't think most of Snow Dog's votes were any kind of save, but two consecutive last second changes do make you wonder. You were trying to put Made's lynch off until you could pin somebody else as his teammate.

But yeah, there's no way I don't get lynched tomorrow. But just so you know, thread, once I'm gone... MP is the way to go :)

It's true I've never won as a civilian. That's because I get Night killed very early. Many of you know that is true. I only get to stick around is when I ruin the civilians myself (Harry Potter). The only reason I made it to the end of The Hobbit was because I bought protections with my gold (and earned a LOT of gold). Someone still tried to kill me.

But look at the other games. I get killed early a LOT.

So what does my Hall of Fame record have to do with my credentials? Why bring it up? Is it to discredit me? Why am I the ONLY person Enrique thought to examine in this manner?

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Day 4

I'm gonna say, Alex, and you know I love you, this is the second dumbest thing I've ever been accused of lying about in Mafia. Epig's "he obviously didn't have a bad day and was super happy an hour ago" still comes first.

Which I didn't do. I Ctrl+Fd and that was it. Your argument couldn't be any more contrived.

linki- Ctrl+F, Enter, Enter, Enter. Not hard.

This is what I'm afraid of... The push to lynch Made under such weak reasoning has me thinking there was an ulterior motive.

That's one main reason I switched to Rico. But MP voted for Rico, and I was feeling that they were teammates.

But TH is making some DAMN good points.

:ponder:
But there has also been a push to lynch enrique - unless I'm not understanding your point.
The push for Made was immediate.

The push for Rico came about more slowly.

Remember, I not comfortable with either choices at this point. I'm just more comfortable with voting Rico at the moment.

I'd still rather an MP vote.
I got 4 consecutive votes near the start of the day, would've been 5 if DF hadn't gotten in before MP. Or do you mean through the whole game? Because we've both been getting votes from the very beginning (and I actually didn't get any yesterday, whereas Made hardly survived).

linki- uh what? I did exactly what I said I did. There's a little box next to each game that says whether baddies or civvies won. You made the HoF, you know that.

Re: Dr. Who Mafia - Day 4

So, you skimmed my case on made, while characterizing it to be something it wasn't... so... blatant misinformation?
Y-yes. I read your earlier posts on him, and the later ones just seemed like you and Made going back and forth rehashing the same points. Can't say I gave them a lot of attention, but I thought I got the gist.

Dom, the Hall of Fame isn't exactly hard to navigate. Open thread, Ctrl+F "Epignosis" and went through like 4 results to see if he was a civ in those games. Given my history with him, it's not a stretch that I got curious.
