That’s why I outed my number thing, I was hoping someone would *know* or guess the point of it and kinda hint back. So some kind of coordination could be done. Just sending numbers was dull and random. I was hoping to find a way to use them, not just randomly pick them.

I won't Vote in this group Either, but I do have to reread them. People I feel OK about that I trust their judgment are saying Porscha is town, but i have zero baseline to read her, so she makes me nervous lol. I voted sig at one point, then they fell off the radar. So no current read on him, and considering he has been in my bad section, I should have one. Falcon felt very towny to me Day 1, his one-liners to content ratio was pretty high, which is what I look for. But he fell off, and like sig, I have no current read on him. LC felt very towny to me early, I totally didn't think wolfy LC had that in thread tunnel convo. Bad LC is everyones friend, even when he's accusing you, he's patting you on the back. Bad LC never threatens to take his toys and go home. But, like sig and Falcon, he fell off for me. Part of that is prolly the silencing. But he requires more reading.

@Long Con re Wilgy, yes I am so far. I wasn't clear on that maybe becasue i was talking more about your conclusion about how he was treating me, as opposed to what I thought of him. Also, another point in your post, you made it sound like the numbers thing was some inscrutible mystery. I have no clue what the numbers do. Sprit had a theory (not me, Sprit) that the poll somehow correlated to my in thread lists, so I spitballed a bit to see if it was feasibly based on the numbers, but that's about it.

So just throwing a dart at a list of the players, you're more likely to hit on a towny player. So while I understand the low/no post frustration, voting DM is like thrpwing that dart.

Good! I explained it mainly becasue I thought I maybe used it in the wrong way. I am not much of a math minded person, so I can tend to not be very precise in concepts, like "mathematically" as opposed to "statistically" or "probability". No shade intended, except perhaps at myself lol

I considered this. Treating me nicely used to be my Wolf Wilgy tell; I know I'm susceptible to the cozy pocket. When he was town he was a bit snappier if I voiced any sus or questioned him, he had an (*almost*, Wilgy couldn't ever be mean) edge to him. I told him this, and it stopped happening. There was one game where he was almost theatrically edgy with me, and was bad, and then *poof*. So I pay more attention to what he says than how he says it.

I also think Wilgy reads me pretty well.

Looking at who is voting for who, I trust the nutella voters more. I did not love Sprits reaction to taking sus, but you know, he handled it better than some people I've seen

, so perhaps my perspective on that changed. Although Thunals point about 2 friendly 3P in a 17 player game is correct, imo. So not totally opposed, but not for the reasons I initially held.

Nutella feels more like she's reacting to content rather than creating it, and while she always has a bit of edginess to her, her bad game feels a bit edgier. All of her remarks have a feel like she's making a throwaway remark that she can easily walk away from if called on it.

I'd ask the same question but about Wilgy

For LC, mostly, as he said about me, his Day One, and I don't see bad LC getting into a spat about tunnelling with anyone. When you're bad, you are naturally in a higher state of self control, since your entire game is a lie you have to defend. When you're town, you're less controlled imo. Your reactions are a little more natural. And LC plays a performative game, for the most part, he always feels like hes role playing, which gets him a lot of sus in general. But his vote for Scotty to "Make things spicy", that was not very solvy. I plan to redo my read lists later.

And Wilgy is very much following the town Wilgy pattern for me; a low content or jokey early game followed by periods of fairly heavy involvement. I have not seen anything that triggers a bad Wilgy read for me.

I 100% I do, I'm embarrassed and should have known better, especially after the earlier "you always tunnel me" stuff going on earlier in this game. I got too frustrated too easily, and acted like an ass. The very thing, as a game mod, I counsel others against. So yeah. I apologize to the host and the whole game.

Gonna catch up and vote, and put that list off till I have more time.

It doesn’t, but when this host has used them in the past they have been, but that’s borderline angleshooting to say so. If I’ve ever seen a baddie tiebreaker personally I don’t recall it and I have fairly good Mafia memory.

Agree re most of your notes, I'm still slotting Cape town; when he has wrong info or perhaps misread something, he owns it and doesn't try to spin why he could still be right. That reads towny to me. I had Falcon town early, but his towny self hasn't really shown since, so he's more midrange for me now.

No change on Sprit, his snark @ me but not you for the vote was interesting; I'm putting that down to my post was first by 2 seconds. Noted his "my action failed" and maybe it did, but the person who failed the actions would know it too.

It was frustrating; it almost felt like a policy which I’m sure it wasn’t, but it was very frustrating. I would ask and a few times the answers went over my head, and I’m not stupid. I had no idea what people were actually talking about, and at times almost felt like intentional obfuscation.

So I need to read some isos and try to get a grip on it all. Not trying to be unfair; just feeling very lost in this game.

That was the weirdest day ever. Everyone kept saying how towny Rox was, yet mech mech whatever, everyone voted for her. And here silly me thought NOT voting for people you thought were town was the point of this game

And yeah it would be nice to know how Cape knows that Pyxxy is a killer, but also that he's not a scary one, but a nice community friendly killer, since he didin't seem alarmed by the concept.

One last thing I noticed; the people voting Rox don't have as much experience playing with her afaik, as compared to the people not voting for her. But like Wilgy said, I'm hoping for one of her read lists.

Also, since I didn't mention Thunal as regards voting; still a null for me. I haven't seen much of what i think of as Towny Thunal yet, and by Day 2 she generally would have shown up. BUT BUT BUT when town Thunal is a wolf, if anything, she shows up faster, imo. And I haven't seen anything alarming. So BOTD for now re Thunal.

I'm OK with my vote at this time, even though it sets a tie we're more than 12 hours from EOD.

Roxy's inclusion and subsequent activity in the thread reads as someone surprised that she has to fight to live today. meaning overnight, if Roxy is scum, mafia felt pretty comfortable in how they were controlling the thread, and had today really shake things up

so I suspect Roxy

however I have a smaller % of curiosity about mech, and how you talked about it. I want more votes on the board first before we get lost in a mech rabbit hole.

Right, and people surprised they needed to fight today means they didn't know they were the leading wagon at some point yesterday. Which a wolf would know, so it's unlikely she is one to my mind.

This post makes it feel like you're trying to make the thread fit your scenario, rather than trying to make your scenario fit the thread. That way you explained it feels convoluted and not totally sincere.
