So we can start with him.
But I have a hit list, and I'm considering putting you on it.

Sounds pretty non-subtle as flip-flops go. Do you think scum mac would be subtle or no?Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 03, 2020 11:39 am I 100% disagree about that progression.
Jack was sure Nutella was scum and said so loudly.
Mac said Nutella was town and Jack was scum with basically no explanation.
Then, after nothing changed between Jack and Nutella, Mac adopted the idea that Jack is always right about Nutella and therefore she is bad and if she’s not, whatever. An excuse to pretend that makes Jack scum.
The not tiny part would be an understandable opinion to have if he started with it or he developed it. That didn’t happen. That opinion appears to have spontaneously generated. More likely, Mac saw a way to shade two players who had each accumulated 6ish votes at some point during the day, hoping for a one two lynch and lynch of players not on his team.
It’s worse than no progression. There’s agenda in it.

Lock might be a strong word, but Dizzy is one of my top town reads. Tossing Dizzy up as a most suspicious character without an actual case is worse than what I'm doing.sig wrote: ↑Mon Mar 02, 2020 12:26 pmI've been saying he may be scum for awhie. also I don't have like a real case case on him. Mainly tone/yesterday's lynch actions which were odd.
Which is putting them up as a top townread without an actual case.

Ok, I got lynched once but that was when I was on a holiday at the sea and I didn't care enough to stress myself
I mean, if you're seriously genuine here, then you have an ego the size of a train and self-analysis out the butt. It doesn't read like transparently laying out thoughts.
So hey, if you never get mislynched, and we lynch you today, then you must be scum, right? Otherwise you wouldn't get lynched.

I got weird vibes from Ted D1, and then he appeared reluctant to address Dizzy's 'scumslip' on him. It wasn't the slip itself that bothered me, but his forced nonchalance about it? The Mac read is nothing special. I agree with what Jay said about his Dom post, and a few other sentiments expressed in the past two pages.
Dizzy and Dom both seemed like fairly stable, level heads in the thread D1. I like town dizzy and town dom.
Bonus: I don't care to lynch G-man.

Then he wasn't so certain he was seeing bad nutella, later.
Jack is AU me, and it seems like the way I'd coincidentally handle something like that while being 100% correct.
I don't have anything firm here, though. On a whim, it's like Jack was sorta right and had no way of concretely knowing that, and it feels neat.

Nah.sig wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 12:17 pm So Jack backing down on Nutella is meh for a few reasons.
1. He was so confident and into it, to suddenly 180 just doesn't look good for either of them.
2. *Adjusts tin foil hat* What's the chance they're on the same team? Didn't expect this to happen and it blew out of proportion or vice verse Jack is just mafia and did this without expecting results. However, he knew if Nutella was flipped partly due to his push he'd be next.
3. I don't think the progression of "I can read Nutella" to I want to give her more time, but still isn't sure seems very genuine.
4. Nutella's reaction to Jack and her tone were both two things I really didn't like, that doesn't change with Jack pulling his suspicion of her.
I also feel like if we all move off Nutella, what's to stop this from being Jack vs Nutella on Day 2 or 3 when he does the same thing? The door is definitely still open.
Point number one is valid, which is why Jack wouldn't do it.
Point number two includes a tinfoil hat, so I'll let it stand with that caveat.
Points number three and four are fair enough.
The last thing is just a terrible reason to lynch someone though holy crap. I suss.

The idea of 'OMG how could you do this please lynch this person and not me because I'll feel just so awful if you lynch me uwu'
I hate appeal to emotion and it's lost several games to scum on this site.

Aww. I wouldn't want you to feel awful! But like. Are you caught up and stuff? Who are your main suspicions? I miss the days when you posted all the time.
Heck no I'm not caught up. I've read like 3 pages and skimmed another 5. I accidentally got myself into temporarily working 2 jobs a couple weeks ago and between that and my infant, life is a storm right now. People can suspect me though, that's fine. I miss the days when I posted all the time, too. It was easier to spearhead an accusation instead of bandwagoning on someone, which I'll probably have to do today.

Re: Champions 2019 - Crisis on The Syndicate [Night 0]
I've played a game before where scum were nervous due to a combination of being sorta new to the site and players. They compensated by interacting with people they knew more than anyone else. Something you aren't doing. Good on you!tedxtr wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 2:43 amOh i must’ve missed this but thanks for pointing it outnutella wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 2:38 amWhat is this postspeedchuck wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 1:49 amI think the Jack/Nutella thing was interesting, primarily because of reactions to it. @tedxtr do you know nutella prior to this?
Is it blank? I feel like I'm looking at a blank post here

No I don’t, why’s that relevant? My point was the AtE from her felt forced and it tempers with my handling of the slot.
speedchuck
I still don't see any AtE and that makes your defense awkward to me, but whatever mate.

Or she’s just town.
Like she’s hitting her scumtell a and her towntells.
How do we (we who know nutella) anticipate her to respond to a post like this, where is she is told she is playing to her norms in both alignments? This is an accusation from Jack after all, even if "softened" by the town half of the presentation. I'm not surprised nutella called it garbage, or that she wondered aloud if a mafioso Jack would be so obvious as to openly hedge in this manner.
Because I'd be surprised to see nutella offended by this cushy push. More like 'meh' and 'jack do you even have an opinion'

Mint + Chocolate = no likey.
I can see why people like it, but it's a no from me. The tastes are not meant to be combined. Like pineapple on pizza.

Oh lol Vanilla love. Right.
Vanilla isn't even close to the best ice cream, but the best flavors aren't on the poll.
