Kate is sneaky and quite capable of mixing it up but I wouldn’t say that would im describing is a mistake to begin with. It’s just personality. In carto you’re seeing a Kate that is endeavouring to appear townie. In this game she didn’t gaf.

My thoughts on game state are thus:

There's a lot of weakarse wolf-reading going on, often for reasons that are trope 'that's wolfy' on stuff thats NAI. It's been hard to sort real suspicion from day one shitposting suspicion/reaction fishing for me.

There's been two things that I think are genuinely suspicion in a 'wolves there' way. The first is the suspicion on Kate, which is clearly not based in the thread at all and is entirely manufactured and hasn't gone away. The other is the number of people who are in the 'too many players, I'll wait to solve until later'. Michelle and Dennis I remember on that front, but there's more I need to check back on to remember exactly who. It's being used as a justification for why reads are hedgy/aren't good. Those are the two areas I'm currently focused on in wolf-hunting as most likely to be fruitful.

While I think the wolfhunting is weak, I've seen what I feel like is some genuinely good effort towards town-hunting. I have good vibes on at least neon, cape, nut, scotty, seanzie, lily from it, probably more that I would remember if I looked at the playerlist.

Also, from my perspective the most relevant solvey point I have to make is:

My posts about having no evidence of TMI was thinking of two mafia sets but that seems unlikely based on rules as drafted. Reads as one mafia with a search mechanic. Still, though, I’d be hesitant at considering anyones townread as coming from TMI… the mafia appear to have as much interest in establishing honest town and wolfreads as anyone else, which means imo we need to rate ‘false read’ perspectives as less likely to be correct than they would usually be.

I saw your town core post. nut and mich are fine candidates. Urist's insistence that Rondo is Rask's partner if Rask flips scum didn't vibe with me but the rest of his posting has been fine - I historically have scumread Urist's posting regardless of alignment so it's probably a good sign that I've found him unobjectionable apart from that since it means he's townier than usual.

I would add lucy to the town core. Rask is fine but not towncore worthy. Cape is kinda sus but only a couple people seem interested at all in looking at him so I might vote there in a bit.

I think Party Crasher has been townie on play but I kinda think their role is more likely to be mafia given the context. I am awful at hostreading though so they're probably just town

I'm fine with Lucy too, or not too worried.

I think Golden is town. Him reacting negatively to your pushing and voting you basically out of annoyance is town rather than wolf for him imo. And I think his read on Kate is just a strong read based on familiarity. Just my opinion

There is a lot of discussion of IAWY and Scotty that, being honest, I didn't totally understand. I am going to try to reread it in context.

He made a townread of me, with the caveat that the post I made to try to get Kate to look at me looked Wolfy to him (fair enough, it had a specific purpose, and was aimed at a specific person). He also liked my post on 112, and later said he thought 112 was town.

As I read along, I found myself agreeing with several of his reads. Had no idea why he hit anyones radar (unless it was for reasons related to meta w/people I am not familiar with), until he started backpedaling himself a bit answering Rondos questions. Also, he spent alot of time early commenting on a discussion between IAWY and Scotty, but then he townread both of them towards the end of his ISO? Although he was fairly waffly on each. He and Scotty voted for each other at one point, though I guess that didn't last.

As Cape would say, Scotty is trending down for me.

Urist is one of those slots where I don''t really know but I lean scum on them. But I also think it could be a playstyle thing with him. The sort of confident kind of snark coming off urist this game is something all right.

I don't disagree with Cape here, but that little caveat there ... I am glass houses and all re waffling, I tend to try to see both sides. Is this a normal thing for Cape?

I have changed my mind recently looking back at that 112 post. It's pretty NAI, but defending HK then leaving does somewhat seem not wolfy to me so there is that.

Besides that point, I don't really know why I look bad from what you have said besides the whole my push on Petit being performative. I would say my push on baudib1 from "insert only mafia game that I linked earlier that is not loading for me" does beat the performativity of the read on Petit. It is a method I will use to RT people.

I had to go back and read that post to understand why you/Petit were talking about HK; the part I liked had nothing to do with the people 112 was quoting. It had to do with the thought 112 expressed, that getting rashy with someone in thread, snapping out, it less likely to come from a wolf place then a town place. So I am tending to read that one post, HK telling Guillotine to fuck off, as townie. But mainly i was talking about 112s take on it, rather than the post itself.

And I tend to look for thread interaction as a wolf tell, I know there must be masons here, but they don't generally have any need to distance. That whole business with Scotty, it just felt like distancing to me. It didn't feel like you *really* suspected each other. Like if you were laying it out so if one of you get elim on day 4, the other could clear themselves from being a partner based on this interaction. It's a lean, and I'm not voting on it or telling anyone else to either. It felt a bit like manufactured suspicions.

But I don't know you or your meta, or anyone involved in any of this, really, except Scotty. And I know he doesn't start Supatowning until after an elim. It all just felt "faux" to me.

P#2411: I dislike this read from Cape, mainly because I had the exact opposite read on nutella, I thought she was mildly in her wolfrange very early on, then has slowly left as the game progressed.
P#2418: I thought this was a fine read earlier, but I think nutella's right, and could easily an excuse to take attention away from TSP. w/w TSP/Cape is my level 0 read here.
P#2629: Cape did backtrack on the TSP read, but it wasn't a great one to begin with. Also, I just noticed a thing from Rondo in this post where Cape asks about Sean, and Rondo uno-reverses Cape which I didn't really like from Rondo. I think it's fine that Cape brought up another player for discussion, but Rondo seemed to mildly dismiss it.

Another sabi note that this post reminded me of: I've seen Sabi AtE kinda excessively as wolf before, but not as town, and when they have done it as wolf, they did it with their teammate Mac (and got his permission in wolfchat), so I do think it's a townpoint for Sabi that they had a strong response to lucy earlier today and lucy flipped v.

I don't think sig is scum atm, but it doesn't surprise me to see players SR him who aren't familiar with him. ilario in this list also doesn't make sense to me. I dunno, he offered slank cover which I know wolves can easily do, but I don't think it's necessarily AI, but I don't think he's been at all obviously scummy. I think I'll have a better grasp on ilario Day 2 (I can explain why then).
