I think even if he was fake townreading you, he could've given a better fake reason for the change
which makes me think the derp in mixing up the games was real

now, you could argue that Dennis derped for real and then realized later and used it as a convenient excuse to back up a convenient change in read of you
but that by itself feels a bit reachy to be the only thing to scumread Dennis for (unless you have other reasons)
