One of your early "differences" was that in Champs practice I did both scumreads and townreads early. It actually use to be a scumtell for me to state townreads, and I still often don't bother to townhunt as town, so your understanding of me is way off, and you have plenty of people in the thread that know me better than you do to help shape your understanding.

My normal town modus operandi is to cover myself with large amounts of fresh meat, and then stand in the middle of a field yelling, and then look around at everyone to see who is 1. wolf taking the bait, 2. town genuinely just hungry for steak, 3. wolves shying away from me in weird ways because they know I'm trying to bait then, and 4. town shying away from me because they know they can watch and find people who satisfy 1 and 3 around me.

Yes, but the reaction you had to my tunneling you is decently convincing. I like reading people off of direct interaction if I don't have enough evidence otherwise. I'll push and I'll be argumentative if I think it's going to net me a solid read by the time I'm done.

I might be a little biased here but I generally get the idea that wwa is not only:
1) making a read that probably makes sense to someone who doesnt play with you often
2) making it obvious and well known she is sr'ing you to the point of considering thunderdoming with you at various points
3) acknowledges that the read was stubborn but shared it anyway
4) includes other reads like on neon that she establishes are separate from you
5) sees a post that reminds her of the town sean she has seen and then changes her read

so unless the post(s) she tr'd you for are ones you don't believe she should tr you for, then where is your biggest issue? I read the tone as really genuine because she chose to make the arguments against you relentlessly while also realizing it didn't really put her in a good light. and even put a pretty big spotlight on you two. what good does it bring a wolf who was in a comfortable position to want to thunderdome in that scenario? I don't think (and i absolutely could be wrong here, i;ve only played with wwa like no more than t wice) that wwa would make a big gambit like that - for reasons I can't even begin to comprehend either

What I actually want to do the next time I have a break is to go back and look at who all voted Rondo out yesterday because that wagon is bound to have a wolf on it who was voting for lame reasons. The only issue is that I also think town had lame reasons, because it was D1, and I can only use it as a springboard to pick some players to focus on but not as an all-encompassing reason to suspect anyone.

The Wilgy wagon had Kate and falcon on it.

I don't know if Wilgy is town or not because I don't have a read on him, but he wasn't such a hot topic as nutella was (or Rondo, in the end). I don't think Kate and falcon would both vote Wilgy if they're both wolves, and I haven't given any thought yet as to whether either could be partnered with Wilgy.

I know I was pushing Kate earlier but I'm trying to give her (and svs) space so she doesn't get pushed completely out of the thread, because if she's town she's in a good position to pick out wolves right now, and same for svs.

Falcon i said was towny off a post or two, it felt similar to last game, but recency bias is starting to get to me and I want to reevaluate, especially once he posts more. If my current PoE is wrong then I do need to be looking elsewhere, and falcon isn't in my top town.

The nutella wagon had Rondo who was town, Mac who I think is probably town, and TSP who's posting kind of sporadically but doesn't suck (I saw one or two posts that looked good).

I thought Mac was well within wolf range up until the Kate/SVS thing in the thread, because I don't think wolf!Mac needs to loudly announce that nutella has spewed herself town. And he did it when Seanzie pushed him, too, and I really don't think Mac as a wolf goes out of his way to announce a sudden townread, especially on nutella whom he scumread and was pushing before, when he could go along and keep pushing and probably still get others to agree with that read. Instead, he went into defending nutella when he could've done the opposite to appear more agreeable and let the thread push the agenda for him. I know this is a bit of a risky take to give, granted I've only played with Mac like twice, one of which I wolfed with him iirc and he did nothing notable except thay he survived, but this is more based on what I expect to see versus what I actually see, and not so much a meta read.

I don't have so much to say on TSP; kind of the same as I said about falcon, one or two towny posts, but TSP's good posts were more reactionary and falcons were idk, they looked decent because they didn't look particularly wolfy? I need to review them again. Anyway, TSP isn't locktown to me but he's not the first one I'd look at if my solve is wrong.

The reason I had that unspoken scumread on svs earlier was because I thought her read on me was pockety, PLUS I suspected she was staying out of the thread discussion except to politely agree with stuff, but I don't think the latter part is true anymore especially once the discussion started to revolve around her. And as I said before, I'm gonna drop talking about her for the rest of the day since it's clearly stressing her out. I don't think I need to avoid making a read on her but I don't want to frustrate her completely out of the game because then it's impossible to find her if she is, in fact, town, and clearly I'm having a difficult enough time seeing worlds where she's town when she's in the thread. So idk, maybe she'll do something towny if I stop sitting on that read.

One of your early "differences" was that in Champs practice I did both scumreads and townreads early. It actually use to be a scumtell for me to state townreads, and I still often don't bother to townhunt as town, so your understanding of me is way off, and you have plenty of people in the thread that know me better than you do to help shape your understanding.

My normal town modus operandi is to cover myself with large amounts of fresh meat, and then stand in the middle of a field yelling, and then look around at everyone to see who is 1. wolf taking the bait, 2. town genuinely just hungry for steak, 3. wolves shying away from me in weird ways because they know I'm trying to bait then, and 4. town shying away from me because they know they can watch and find people who satisfy 1 and 3 around me.

Yes, but the reaction you had to my tunneling you is decently convincing. I like reading people off of direct interaction if I don't have enough evidence otherwise. I'll push and I'll be argumentative if I think it's going to net me a solid read by the time I'm done.

I might be a little biased here but I generally get the idea that wwa is not only:
1) making a read that probably makes sense to someone who doesnt play with you often
2) making it obvious and well known she is sr'ing you to the point of considering thunderdoming with you at various points
3) acknowledges that the read was stubborn but shared it anyway
4) includes other reads like on neon that she establishes are separate from you
5) sees a post that reminds her of the town sean she has seen and then changes her read

so unless the post(s) she tr'd you for are ones you don't believe she should tr you for, then where is your biggest issue? I read the tone as really genuine because she chose to make the arguments against you relentlessly while also realizing it didn't really put her in a good light. and even put a pretty big spotlight on you two. what good does it bring a wolf who was in a comfortable position to want to thunderdome in that scenario? I don't think (and i absolutely could be wrong here, i;ve only played with wwa like no more than t wice) that wwa would make a big gambit like that - for reasons I can't even begin to comprehend either

My main complaint about WWA is that the things they've focus on re:me are things that don't make sense for people who know me, and I've pushed them to consider this/explore this and they haven't.

The "play the game aggressively and mine reactions" thing isn't really working out because I just feel like I've been an asshole to at least three players so far and I'm not supposed to suck the fun out of the game for other people

It's not infallible. Friendship doesn't give you a God read and neither does any other relationship.

I'd like you to show me one game where she snowed me. Or I snowed her for that matter. Dennis is my kid, yes, but he's a newer player and still finding his footing in a sense. I've never claimed to be able to read him as well as svs. And to be fair, what I said in the last game was that I civ leaned Dennis and it was day 1. The reason I had that unspoken scumread on svs earlier was because I thought her read on me was pockety, PLUS I suspected she was staying out of the thread discussion except to politely agree with stuff, but I don't think the latter part is true anymore especially once the discussion started to revolve around her. And as I said before, I'm gonna drop talking about her for the rest of the day since it's clearly stressing her out. I don't think I need to avoid making a read on her but I don't want to frustrate her completely out of the game because then it's impossible to find her if she is, in fact, town, and clearly I'm having a difficult enough time seeing worlds where she's town when she's in the thread. So idk, maybe she'll do something towny if I stop sitting on that read.

I went off on a tangent there but my point was that I would've categorized svs as "sitting back" up until recently so I don't really know if she fits that description anymore, but idk who else does besides pyxxy and falcon. Maybe Porscha, but not because she's inactive, just that I don't think she's been directly involved in any of the major discussions so far but I also feel like that might be a disingenuous characterization on my part, like maybe she was part of a big discussion but I can't remember any examples except maybe when Lily was pushing on her.
