Vivax rebutted that he has cooled off due to gamestate i.e. sandbagging / vague gamereads to skirt being AI read. I don't think I grasp his pov, but it also doesn't eliminate the contrast of having looked into player's texts and intentions early on. One of the two approaches rings superficial.

Creature surfaces:
-- begs for mercy right away
-- points to meta of similar activity; to note, there is open disinterest stated in that game, which has so far not been expressed here; I reserve judgement on whether this is to save face or genuine
-- rebuttal that they would ghost under pressure, not entirely (and game-breakingly) is alright
-- questions tutuu on focusing on zeroposters, but townreads them for lulz-just-trollin
-- focuses on Seanzie inactivity and potential Rondo - JJJ buddying

Probably ok with Creature atp.

---

Porscha more active:
-- statement on having also played AI-cluelesss for a while
-- startled by the idea of Seanzie being lynched
-- frustration at getting the polarized / not active enough treatment (from knowledgeable-on-meta players, especially)
-- ok so main rebuttal is that all the suss from tutuu is untrue and unfouonded
-- #674 is also a rebuttal worth considering (along with Se7en similar meta -- edit: though apparently some claims about that meta are not accurate?)

On the fence, but last posts read a lot better.

---

JJJ desires more Martin

---

tutuu chaosy with her instant townreads and vote switches.

and then roleclaims.
===reactions:
Scotty ok's it.
SVS lemme think about it's it.
JJJ disapproves of tutuu wagon regardless' it.
Rondo annyoed at early claim's it.
Porscha expresses reservations of WIFOM's it.
Zenon doesn't find it confirmable's it and disapprove of protection choice's it.

---

Sudden Porscha push (tutuu, scotty, JJJ on page), coupled with very inactive / complete inactives. Ergh. Porscha or one other individual name on this list would ring fine, but creating a wolf scenario of whatif's and zero-poster's feels like driving attention outside a lot of actual gamestate.

JJJ later states it has more to do with the expectation of an active, town Porscha.
Scotty later likes the pushback.

State of push now...? ?

--

Zenon votes Vivax.
Zenon votes Tutuu.
Townreads Porscha.
Asks for Tutuu's protection. Then to use it on Rondo.
Wolfreads tutuu's Seanzie vote.
Zenon votes Scotty.

Hm. Woke up with the vibe that it's still all tantrum and empty voting, BUT the read into tutuu is acknowledgeable. Best part of the ISO by far, atm.

--

SVS surfaces
-- more mechtalk and susstalk in relation to tutuu
-- back and forths with Scotty
-- step back on tutuu after roleclaim

Growing feeling that her interests and topics are inversely proportional to having made any actual read or focused elsewhere. There is potential in skirting with this. Or just preparing to tunnel on those two suss's.

--

Rondo surfaces and sort of sprawls all over. I don't find the time and resources to judge all of that. Pass.

Did not expect him to defend zeroposter-D1-lynching, tho.

Some proposal about the item pick order on D2 that I don't understand one bit.

At least seems to come up with a JJJ + Scotty + Vivax scenario. Some JJJ - Scotty interaction is perhaps worth analyzing, but his mashup of quotes also felt from all over the place.
Does make a point about both of his suspects brushing it off with hahahoohoo's.

I am feeling a decent to light to strong pass on Rondo material toDay.

--

Seanzie!

-- abandons all hope of catching up first 12 pages
Funny how JJJ suggests that he look into mostly inactives. Ergh.
-- townreads Porscha. Repeatedly. Calls it a tell thing. States it was accurate a lot of times in previous games.
A Porscha / Seanzie w/w world would already start to look kinda dumbmove, judging from Seanzie's moves.
-- rebuttal on same "polarized" argument from tutuu (unfounded, unrealistic, unproved meta-wise)
-- lol mushrooms
-- fine's falcon

@JaggedJimmyJay

My reasoning for voting Ricochet when it got later on Day 1, was because of this post.

Felt like it was scummy just because it was basically like what Seanzie said. Too much commentary on random things, not really applying reads on most of the slots in the game after the "analysis"?
You wouldn't sheep sean on a rico read for your own benefit would you

You wouldnt download a car, would you

I've literally had this read for most of the game, minus the 1 random time I pulled away because of Rico's reaction to votes.

But that was like 1 small thing amongst the rest of his game where it isn't as towny and solvey as people think it is.

I've literally had this read for most of the game, minus the 1 random time I pulled away because of Rico's reaction to votes.

But that was like 1 small thing amongst the rest of his game where it isn't as towny and solvey as people think it is.
Mmmm yes I too retroactively have had <insert thought> the entire game, so get pwned

Probably ok with Creature atp.

Growing feeling that her interests and topics are inversely proportional to having made any actual read or focused elsewhere. There is potential in skirting with this. Or just preparing to tunnel on those two suss's.

At least seems to come up with a JJJ + Scotty + Vivax scenario. Some JJJ - Scotty interaction is perhaps worth analyzing, but his mashup of quotes also felt from all over the place.

My reasoning for voting Ricochet when it got later on Day 1, was because of this post.

Felt like it was scummy just because it was basically like what Seanzie said. Too much commentary on random things, not really applying reads on most of the slots in the game after the "analysis"?

eagle falcon eye over here

Why

The last game I played with JJJ he was scum, and had different tone.

I accused him of Revelations 3:15-18, and I'm not seeing that here

In isolation this read is friovolous, though I might credit falcon a bit when I extend it to more recent history when he expressed some vague misgivings about me. That'd suggest an active process exists.

Not super thrilled with this, as the "Creature zero posts as mafia" trope is pretty dated and untrue. Technically this can apply to tutuu as well, though the tagalong vote is what pings me.

I didn't even know about the game until I saw your @ this morning, and then didn't get a rolecard until this afternoon, and then I took some mushrooms and ended up getting lost in a sunflower maze and ate brussels sprout pecan tacos. I have not had time to post.

This totally vibes with my own experience this game, except I took different drugs and ate different food...and I didn't get lost, BUT! The rest is the same.

I said before that I don't associate falcon with easy town reads, so this is a bit jarring. "I town read you, because you also didn't know about the game/your role card" is hard to take seriously.

First mention of Scotty is a vote, other than [sort of] this irrelevant thing. This was a few hours prior to EOD, and falcon's last post of Day 1. It came immediately after Wilgy sussed Scotty, and it represents the second-such moment (paralleling his vote for Creature after tutuu griped). It'd be a brazen form of wave-riding, but I don't town read it.

~~~
I don't think falcon looks awful as I kind of thought he might. Nonetheless I have gripes, primarily about the frivolity of his reads/votes, and he remains in my POE pool.
Lime Coke ISO
69 posts. Nice.
I'm going to ignore the first few posts since Lime Coke said he hadn't seen the hub yet.
Tutuu still bit wishwashy or just plain derpy now with the whole "town be swag and not pick food" but then "oh wait getting increasingly hungry will lose game for town" progression.
Ping on Rondo asking to be grouped with the mechtalkers. For what? Or what kind of cred?
I don't think the game will be faultily designed (especially with this being an Epig game) as to reach a mechanical loss i.e. fX town being starved or mafia hogging all the protections each time.
I don't think Tutuu was towny for the mech talk alone. Normally I'm one of the many people who hates mech talk. But I felt like the way Tutuu went with it was at least done in a positive way to use to at least try to clear people using it.
I can appreciate this mindset, as it's not that dissimilar from my own initial view of tutuu. I cared less about the logic or theoretical correctness of her mechanical perspectives than about what she was trying to do with them (find town reads).
His responses to being scumread/voted aren't bad, tbh.
This serves as a reminder that LC's suspicion of Rico has been around most of the game so far. Perhaps the second post in there could be called nuance, though that feels generous.
[VOTE: Die Meat baby] aubergine
Early in the game, Scotty, tutuu, and I were vibing a little bit around our initial town reads, and our lists were a lot like this one (at least mine was). LC arrived a bit late to the party, but at least he contributed to what I perceive to be a pro-town solving environment. I was about to comment on the absence of S~V~S to complete the "sheep circle" so to speak (sans-Rico), but LC commented on that in his next post. So that's nice.
Lime Coke wrote: Wed Jul 12, 2023 12:10 pm If I had a reads list it would look somewhat like...
Townread:
Scotty
Tutuu
JJJ
Zenon
Townlean:
Die_meat
The list continued to develop, so one cannot accuse LC of lacking in town reads or failing to promote POE solving.
Are you able to describe your concern, even if just vaguely?
Kind of just straightforward his solving doesn't feel real/like a mess and I really don't find it enough for me to townread.
You think Scotty has a higher chance of flipping mafia than Rico?
Lime Coke wrote: Wed Jul 12, 2023 7:10 pm Like my thing with Scotty is that he wasn't this like, really aggressive with his answering when he was partners with me like about a year ago, I feel. Which was why I was considering him town so hard.
We'll try it.
This is all of LC's posts in the final hour toward EOD1. They're okay? I add the question mark, because I don't feel that strongly, but I don't think these are bad posts. My questions with LC tend to be about his read on Rico, but otherwise I think there's a reasonable progression here.
~~~

I liked this ISO more than I anticipated. LC had been kind of a fuzzy shade of beige in my head, and I groaned about that with tutuu. But on review, the ISO doesn't seem that bad. I think I can see some gears churning. I will probably learn more about both of them when I review Rico. If I were to nitpick, perhaps I'd say LC seems a bit robotic. I'm not sure that's a fair gripe.

Vivax took ahead as a possible save.

I hope I can be forgiven of this sin.

Scotty was mafia because he picked flint. Scotty was mafia because of writing "wilgy" as a typo in a post. Scotty was mafia because ~vague "resistance" wagon motion~. Meh.

You see,

The Paradox of the Heap questions how many grains of sand can constitute a heap. If you remove a single grain from a heap, it would still be considered a heap. Continuing this process creates uncertainty about when the heap ceases to be a heap. The paradox challenges our understanding of categories and boundaries, highlighting the difficulty of drawing precise distinctions. Proposed solutions include the idea of fuzzy boundaries and the recognition that concepts can exist on a spectrum rather than having fixed definitions.

If a sheep sheeps a sheep who's sheeping the first sheep, what does this imply about the continuity of our existence?

This goes without saying but if jay survives too much u ought to chop him if he hasnt killed a wolf

Like if he makes it to lylo u always chop him and ignore what he says, chances are hes mafia and he will fool u. If he makes it to lylo as town and hasnt pelted a wolf its his own fault :P

motobot wrote: Tue Jul 11, 2023 1:18 pm Sorry for not posting, but I think I know who I'm voting for and that's tutuu. It seems tutuu was trying to get there way then when everyone found that out tutuu tried to say that they were just saying what they thought. That's why I'm voting tutuu.

I suggested before that I might know what this meant, but motobot never clarified. So my guess is only as good as anyone else's. What I figured: "tutuu was trying to get their way" is the accusation. "tutuu tried to say that they were just saying what they thought" is the rationale that motobot has ascribed to tutuu explaining her own behavior (with the implication that he doesn't buy it).

Anyway it doesn't matter much, because I don't think that makes the post more town even if I'm right.

motobot wrote: Fri Jul 14, 2023 2:41 pm Actually seanzie doesn't come of as mafia to me either but as always there is a possibility

Today's posts. I'm glad to see you getting involved motobot! I'm not clear on how these reads developed or were determined. I appreciate you providing them nonetheless, and if you could expand on your thoughts that'd be awesome.

I view motobot at face value as almost pure rand. By POE that might make him worse than rand. Regardless he's in my POE pool.

It's not healthy for you. You drink organic tea or water.
1. No it's not, it's Lime Coke, it's good for everyone.

2. Where did this come from? This is like page 2 of the game.
It was my first time reading it, and even lime coke is not good for everyone.
