Re: Don't Starve Mafia [Day 2]
I don't know yet. Still catching up, and trying to sort people by colour for now ...while catching up. Right now I would lynch Zenon, cannot make a strong case or anything, but I just don't see the typical town Zenon, nor a town spirited player there.

What do these foods and non-foods do? Any example is welcome and appreciated.
Re: Don't Starve Mafia [Day 2]

Re: Don't Starve Mafia [Day 2]

I am not happy with the 2 options right now for voting on Vivax or scotty.
I know how vivax is playing es mafia. I played with him when he was mafia and also were reading old games from him as m, but here he don´t write or act like mafia, so i wouldn´t vote on him atm. Vivax don´t think you are save from me i will think about every future post you make in every possible way...
Scotty looks like strong gamer. We could lose strong Town or bad mafia. I still see him more as townie than mafia

I dont have the energy to quote, just his confidence. I believe him that he believed himself on d1Seanzie wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 12:42 pmWhere has Rico's attempted solving been towny?tutuu wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 6:31 amattemptSeanzie wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 12:55 amWhere has Rico been towny in solving? rico - imo towny via tone, towny attempt at solving despite him mowing down my towncore
sean - i thought his entrance was fine. nothing too grandiose but he's ok with me
creature - i thought his entrance was fine. nothing too grandiose but he's ok with me

motobot - i dont see why he's town

Never mind I thought that was Zenon for some reason. PFPs messed me up.
@Porscha ...I'm not gonna lie I don't get your paranoia of me every game. I think I'm also bad at reading you which is on me, but yeah not all of my wolf games are going to be what they were in the Sabi Invitational, unless I got some sort of motivation I usually end up caught for the most part.

If you check back in my ISO you'll see the conversation I had with Seanzie about Rico. I'm in the process of reviewing everything today, so we'll see what comes up.Lime Coke wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 3:05 pmYou're still townreading Ricochet? The phrasing of your question is goofy, particularly that word "still". Why should I not be town reading Rico, and/or what is the process of events that suggests my read should change?

My reasoning for voting Ricochet when it got later on Day 1, was because of this post.
Felt like it was scummy just because it was basically like what Seanzie said. Too much commentary on random things, not really applying reads on most of the slots in the game after the "analysis"?

It feels a lot like maf!SPF when she was rusty after not rand'ing mafia for nearly a year. Kind of avoids giving credit for most of the players.

Forgot I wanted to respond to this.tutuu wrote: ↑Thu Jul 13, 2023 11:41 pm i dont care if this is egotistical. i deserve the self-praise. three different players gave me a brain aneurysm this game. i held the fort. 1-2 years ago i would have had a meltdown. if a good portion of syndicate regulars were in the spot i was put in - they woulda had a meltdown too. i held the fort though. im awesome as fuck and ive grown so much. not posting this for external validation. i dont care what any of u think about this. i care what i think and what i know. and im not cowardly to keep my thoughts to myself. im letting them out. we on a roll baby. we out here
Glad you were able to reform yourself and keep yourself together during those pushes. <3
Personal experience off of that I would've also gone off the rails if that was happening to me about a year ago.
So that takes a lot of self control to not explode.

I think folks saw these posts and kinda just dropped meatbaby into an "angry new town player" bucket. That's understandable, and I kinda did the same thing. Still, I think we need to temper that reception. I don't know if anyone here has played with them, but I have no knowledge of their personality. The gist of the angst here is "you voted for me" and "you post too much", and those complaints are not town-indicative.
I did highlight one small portion in red that still looks more town than not -- there's a certain bravado in "But you made a mistake." that I recognize a bit from my earliest playing days in like 2011, when I wanted to show that I wasn't a punk.
Regardless of alignment, please don't call people "it".
This is probably the best material in meatbaby's favor. They had a reason to town read Vivax uniquely their own, and they voted Scotty despite openly feeling like it wasn't a great vote -- forcing oneself to take a stance in a standoff EOD vote like that is generally a good thing, especially for a newer player.
~~~
I end feeling decent about meatbaby again, albeit not for quite the same reasons that I suspect earned them credit in the first place.
I appreciate the perspective. I have a reply about that particular gripe, but I'd prefer to discuss it more in-depth when I review Rico. I'll give a quick cliff's notes: commentary without conclusions can be a classically suspicious thing, but I'm not sure that's a charitable interpretation of what Rico posted.Lime Coke wrote: ↑Fri Jul 14, 2023 3:28 pm @JaggedJimmyJay
