Why is trying to get by on vibe reads mafia indicative?. You arent wrong on me doing that but i dont think is particularly AI.
Brad is a meta read, Scotty was a tone read, i could go look up the posts that made me have those reads but why bother when like u said its similar to the consensus?

Re: Fallout New Vegas: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game [DAY 1]
I believe it is mafia indicative because I believe mafia like to try to get themself into a stable position where they are not a real consideration for the elimination. That is their main goal at the start of the game and it tends to be effective to look "towny" early.Manny wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 11:06 amWhy is trying to get by on vibe reads mafia indicative?. You should bother to explain your reads so we know how you reached your conclusions. Your process can be more important than the result. You saying it is consensus anyway is not helpful.

Soo, Scotty decided I deserve a vote because I didn't like his game start, choose to change the vibe by a huge nothinburger meta post, btw a 17er needs 4 wolves imo and an 18er would add a kind of survivor, or jester, something unrelated much with the other 17.
Without flips this has littls value anyway
Brad why did you accept me in your pocket if you don't town read me?
#jumps out :pout:
Now I'll search for other comfy pockets...
Also, +1 to Sean because made me smile.
Long Con keeps the top town position.
Brad is ok-ish even if he has empty pockets ^^
If Scotty thinks he knows Brad I have news, we were hydra partners recently so I can make my own attempt to read Brad without Scotty's "help"
Aand Scotty is still underwhelming
The newcomer, welcome to the site! I need more from them.
Anyone else didn't show AI stuff imo.
Michelle is town
I mean, maybe?
But also, no
Compared to the above game where Michelle was mafia, especially since we are in the early game she does seem to be much more verbose in this game and they seem more focused as well. So I would agree.

Do you think a simple comparison with one game is giving you a decent meta read?Dunnstral wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 11:37 amsearch.php?st=0&sk=t&sd=d&sr=posts&t=25 ... &start=100falcon45ca wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 11:00 amDunnstral wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 10:56 amDo you think Michelle would not make posts like this if they were mafia?falcon45ca wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 10:44 amMichelle wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 3:07 am Morning again.

I was looking to see if I could find you posting like the post Falcon quoted in your mafia game, but you don't do it until what seems like the latter half of that game. In the first half your posting looks quite different.

That's irrelevant. I have alot more games posting one liners as town
Too late to be your concern since I made the post, to soon to start digging for meta only because Falcon mentioned it. That's my impression, that it's not a natural process of solving.
I checked the time frame, why did you look after it after Falcon voted you?

I found Falcon suspicious and wanted to see if what seemed like a meta read on you was easily disprovable, as that is the bulk of their posting so far. Not so much because I was looking into your own alignment.Michelle wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 11:52 amThat's irrelevant. I'll say that the quick meta town read from Dunn looks TMI-ish to me.
Also Manny's sheep on others so lazily is also a thing I don't trust.
I am still thinking at these, any feedback is welcomed

I disagree with this, people can read my allignment without me doing so, i'd probably bother trying to towntell harder and doing said things if i was in the chopping block but i dont think is useful when it comes to either my solving process or town/scumhunting shrug. Mostly because its fakeable as fuck its easy to come up with bullshit reasons for any read.
Why does it surprise u considering last time we were v/v was on the hydra game with waza and i just blindsheeped his read on u then, i have no reason to scumread u right now so there's no point in going against consensus and just sheeping and hoping its right makes solving by POE easier.

Re: Fallout New Vegas: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game [DAY 1]
I try to shoo people away from voting low activity players on day 1 and try to caution against people townreading others for superficially looking towny especially on day 1. I tend towards talking more about mech. Sometimes I will disappear from thread for a day or more but that's not really indicative of my alignment (has happened multiple times as both alignments and I often get heat for it, generally I'm just not interested in catching up with hundreds of posts at the moment and the game is otherwise not interesting and spinning in circles). I try to keep an open mind and not tunnel, but if I find an inconsistency I do stick to it and try to get that player voted out while further analyzing new information.falcon45ca wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 12:58 pm If you're not able to describe your Maf game, how about your Town game? The explanation looks logical but Waza has a read on me almost 100% accurate. Interesting, so this is how voting is done here. Seeing that I almost never played outside of MU this is definitely a first for me!

Re: Fallout New Vegas: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game [DAY 1]
Yeah, a bit. This and next week are school holidays so I am more free than usual (aside from Saturday where I will be off for the whole day). Still, the week after will start my "months of hell" segment so I hope that we won't need to play for that long.
I still need to do a bit of schoolwork to help my students, and some bigger grading projects need to be done, but it should be manageable.
Re: Fallout New Vegas: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game [DAY 1]
Staying up to 4AM is definitely not the kind of dedication you'd ever see me show in a game of Mafia (anymore). I'm almost willing to townread Michelle off of that alone.Michelle wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2024 10:35 pmYay!Lime Coke wrote: ↑Mon Feb 12, 2024 10:31 pmYes I do and you're always welcome inside of them.![]()

I can go to sleep a little more, it's 4 am for me
Also saw the earlier Creature posts which don't do much for me yet, Creature dreading his own D1 is something I regularly see from either alignments (in mashes) and the tone of how his day progresses should give us a much clearer read here.
Re: Fallout New Vegas: A Post-Nuclear Mafia Game [DAY 1]

Everyone gets a maximum of 100 posts per day phase. This will lift an hour prior to the poll deadline.
but maybe I won't get to 100-post anyway
Just don't wagon me D1 because it's like the hardest day for me to handle
My reads D1 are prob going to be shit, they take some new flips to adjust
But I hate this opening... send help
Liked Scotty's inquisitiveness, slightly liked the mech talk/long-term thinking, don't get the Seanzie read (opening looked completely null).
I know that someone Lime Coke has played Turbos on MU before, is this a player I should know from MU? I assume it's not a Limestone alt though?

Do you base this on the mech post? I find that a tad odd because anyone can speak on mech, especially considering it's basically truth-talk and busy work Day 1. It's probably the most irrelevant line of conversation you can go down. Now, given it's RVS at that point, sure talk away on a matter I consider unimportant but out of all of Scotty's early posts, why that one?
I can't decipher whether your reaction is over-eager or just premature. Even with your later answer just doesn’t feel like you should be this set.
I like this inquisitive start from Chelsea. I didn't get the feeling that the mechanics post itself was what caused the town read though, unless I either misread/misunderstood the sequence or if my bias of townleaning Scott myself got between me and Lime's post.
I do kinda agree that the Abigail posts I have seen so far (up to the quoted post) are mostly filler though.

I think a pure wagon has >rand chances of hitting a wolf.
I wont vote a pure wagon if its someone i townread but i do value it a decent amount, i play by making a mental lists of people that i wont vote after that its just a matter of finding the yeet that "feels" the best between the people that arent on my list.

Okay, I really like this Abigail post though. I don't agree with a disengaged Manny being towny (from experience that's wolf indicative of Manny) but I can clearly see where the reads originate and I can follow them easily.☆Princess Abigail☆ wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 5:07 am See for Scotty I largely wolf read early mech posts in games and in my data they are 70% of the time wolf posts but I think everything around the bread stuff is just so insanely town that I'm willing to lock that in early
Creature keeps making excuses for why people are gonna vote him and it feels very defeatist in a wolfy way but I won't vote there unless someone checks me because I can't read creature
Breads insistence that Scotty is town and his read is right against all challenges is just towny imo I'd not be willing to lock that though
Manny feels decidedly disengaged but that's something old me would hard town read however new me is trying to be more patient with what I town lock so I'm gonna say town lean
Chelsea pushing me I hate but only cause this narrative is the same one I get miskilled for constantly by and large I think... assuming Chelsea has no experience with me... that Chelsea is town
What I'm saying is I think the active part of the thread is all town
Townleaning Abigail.
