The amount of people not paying attention to the fact that Lime C, Long C, Thunal, Scotty and I are crytal cleared is puzzling tbh.
One of them is the wolf. I guess that's nothing new but just kill them both and its GG.
@Syn: can you win town? (lololol)
I'm not seeing why you and Scotty would be cleared
also yes
reread my last two days. (gosh I don't know which thread people are reading lol. DDL/Thunal/LC have been outed since D3, I outed myself D4 lmao) I have been flirting with modkill enough as it stands allready.
NGL I'd love to push this ISO as a wolf but I still think your buzzing around dunya is clearing. I just like how u concede ur read about Wisdom sucked (well I town read her for the exact same reason than you - last game and she is just a good wolf), I like how u didn't try to take credit for chopping dunya. etc I dunno. I am closer to vote Jack or go back on Nanook I guess
NANOOKTHEGREATANDFEARSOME wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2025 2:42 am
I also kinda think thunal is town now, wiz mostly doesn't initiate conversations with people that aren't flipped town or pseudo cleared*
*the one exception being one tag of dunya after dunya had initiated with her regularly, which I am going to go ahead and say was the result of dunya coaching her to in scum chat
To be clear, you're saying "Wisdom, as a wolf, has trouble interacting with teammates. She interacted with Thunal. Therefore, Thunal town." Yeah?

Maybe we're all just town.
Note to self: Don't be so righteous like "How can anyone possibly scumread me when I'm so obviously town" in these situations. Everyone is so obviously town. Ergo, everyone should be reevaluating everyone and if those evals don't put me on top of readlists like...whatever.
Trustfall/antitrustfall (I'm just gonna ignore 3P at this point as mostly synonymous with town.)
Jibay - I have not been paying attention to this slot at all. TBD.
LPP is town because he has appeared to be actually hunting. His interactions with Jack/Dunya wagon were him saying exactly what I was thinking when I was reading it after the fact. Very town tone/mindset. Also, Dunya had a pretty awful vote on Rask iirc early D3.
LPP is a wolf because while he objected to the Jack votes, stating that I was town and Dunya was a wolf, he never voted for Dunya and left things tied. This is classic wolf distancing behavior. Talk the talk but don't walk the walk when it could get you a free misyeet.
Lime is town because he seemed entirely unaware of how fucking aligned he looked with Dunya D2. Said something to imply he wasn't aware of Dunya's wolf skills which, even as a first time experiencing it, he would be aware of if they were aligned. Several players immediately townread Lime SOD4, which could have been mechanically motivated. Specifically, we know DDL had some information about prevented kills.
Lime is a wolf because he pushed a bad wagon D3 in a way that could have been part of the wolf plan. After all, it was exactly what Dunya was doing. He's also kinda rested on his laurels ever since.
LC is town because...MontyPythonWitchMobHeadScratch.gif. Because some people have spontaneously generated strong townreads on him so maybe that's mech motivated. Because he doesn't seem to give a damn how others read him and that's townie bravery and not the kind of mindset a wolf has when they've missed two kills, lost a teammate and are in the process of losing another (and later, having actually lost that other). Like, the main reason I caught Dunya (to the extent that I picked up on her wolfiness and voiced that opinion. Not really taking credit for her yeet) was because Dunya was upset and ready for action. LC's mindset and tone is in stark contrast to Dunya's.
LC is a wolf because he won't stop voting for me and he hasn't explained his reads to my satisfaction. Like, I had a 3P read on him because I thought his lack of quality reads and votes was literally him softing 3P. They're pretty bad.
Nanook is town because Dunya treated him like a victim, not a teammate.
Nanook is scum because he's playing with the energy I'd expect of a wolf in this absolute burial of a game.
Roxy....I have hardly paid any attention to.
Scotty is town because he looks like shiney townie Scotty and he keeps voting where I want him to vote while not exactly mirroring my reads. This is everything I want and expect from town Scotty.
Scotty is a wolf because....I mean, somebody has to be a wolf, right? Idk. I haven't seen anything wolfy from Scotty, really.
Syn is town because....he's spewed town by Wisdom? Maybe? Some people have said so.
Syn is a wolf because...okay, gotta look into this slot harder, too.
Thunal is town because her play on D3 is maybe too awkward to make her be aligned with Dunya. She's also a sweet little dragon and dragons get head pats.
Thunal is a wolf because her interactions with Dunya absolutely do not look like someone trying to figure out Dunya's alignment. They feel staged. Like two players trying to publicly convince themselves to do what they've already decided to do.
Okay, so what I'm mostly getting out of this is that LC is actually a lot more likely to be town than I was giving him credit for in my head. Thunal still has the best reason to be scumread. I really need to look at Syn, Roxy, Jibay harder.

Clearing abilities:
Kip/LaFawnduh potential masons
Deb tracker
Okay, there's a pretty high chance we have at least 3 mechanical clears going on behind the scenes.
Yeah, there’s a bit of nuance in these no-info-dumping games that I’m a bit rusty at, so in adherence to that, we gotta do some context clue digging. The only way this really works is there is one wolf left so if anyone was making stuff up, it could be countered easily.
Thunal and LC have felt *very* strongly that the other is good
Le petit has felt *I* look really good coming into today, and that tracks
DDL’s role implies based on voting patterns that Jibay took a nap last night which should clear him, and also Lime Coke from the night before.
Which leaves in the POE by default:
-Jack
-nook
-Roxy
-Syn

If someone wants to explain to me how Syd isn't spewed by Wisdom then feel free to shoot your shot.
I just rechecked wisdom’s iso and I think you and I have a very different way of defining spew.
Because all I see are:
-wisdom’s first suspicion was syn early on D1
-she talked it over with dunya and also came to her own conclusion that he was more null/townlean than anything by middle of day. Why? Who knows.
-votes Falcon, sticks with that on D1. Never talks about Syn again.
Super teammate compatible. Unless you think a wolf retracting suspicion is wolfy.

How convenient, actually, feelings about "no dumping" games and where the line is or should be drawn aside.
Like I said, it’s a bit of nuance and honestly it feels cheap, but it also saves a headache if done appropriately.
I look at it as ‘seeing the tea leaves’ as opposed to ‘watching the news report’

Can you explain this one better? I'm not seeing anything in DDL's posts that implies a JK on Jibay besides like...voting there at EOD.

Right, well this one is an implication to be clear. The jail keeper can target whoever they want regardless of speech, but DDL is the type that would see the writing on the wall and know that his role is important once revealed so he would leave clues

I'm fine with any of jibay, daisy or LC.
Will change at EoD if necessary.
Dragon D. Luffy wrote: ↑Sat Feb 01, 2025 6:26 am
LC and daisy both have good cases against them while also having people hard defending them.
My gut says they are both town though.
[VOTE:
Jibay] aubergine
Next in the "we are not looking at here enough" queue.
And what is this guy doing to deserve to live all the way to D5?

Yes I know Im not voting for the leading wagon.
But at least it's the leading wagon build over hours of town arguing not some cheap attempt by scum to throw smokescreen.
This progressions says:
-I suspect these 3 people
-I’m down to this person, who I am purposefully voting off wagon.
It’s the context. Foolproof? No, but it’s a well reasoned assumption

No but nook has done nothing so far to make me feel he is any less wolfy. From a purely interactive standpoint, he looks more suspicious regarding dunya/wisdom interactions only because they’re not really there.
The only difference between syn and nook as the last wolves are the integral difference between if you think dunya ever throws out her teammate at the end of D3 with the chance of someone else jumping on it or not. Like if Long Con had voted for Nook to join with dunya instead of hopping on jack, dunya might have had to vote out nook. Is that teammate behavior?
If that seems far fetched…it’s Syn

Scotty has excellent tone. still null because I feel this isn't the type of player you tone read
he's always a golden retriever
good to know
speak to me about dunya.
french, yet overly conciliatory
has no reason to actually defend me, went hard to bat for me
I'm doing nothing and am not even interacting with her. she should want to launch me into the sun (soleil soleil soleil)
Syn wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 4:23 am
also the whole "it would be too ballsy to act the way syn is acting if he's wolf" thing just does not parse. meaningless sentence

dunya wolfing awoooo

leading wagon. gee. i wonder how this started...
meeeee :3
My point is that w!Syn had plenty of time/opportunities to turnaround on Dunya. Even at EOD (look how Thunal, Long Con, Daisy, etc... all town read her for jinx and are or flipped town).
AND w!Syn bussing dunya then have to get 5 MLs in to win the game lol.
just doesn't make sense to me.
(I am not saying the last wolf didn't bus, just either a later and weaker bus or he was off wagon)
I mean when I look at this D3 I just kill Nanook lol. (I have allready posted about how I feel about the Nanook/dunya)
I have entertained both Syn and Jack because 1 tinfoil 2 I just disliked how they seemed to be willing to keep the POE wide open by not trying to figure out what was happening behind the scene (but sometimes u just miss things or have less time I dunno)
