Also, while we're talking about the kosherness of dead players subbing back in, while I agree it can be problematic, I think I was very careful to use things that TH1.0 said and did in the thread only. I don't think I used anything that only TH1.0 would have known in private.

My remarks were more meta than directed at this instance, though they were catalyze do by this instance....so I probably should have done it in green, but I wasn't sure.
Again, I really did respect and admire how you handled it, and am kicking myself for failing to follow through on my intentions to make that clear in my post.

Mongoose's answer was worded a little funky, maybe that's what is confusing LC. Can we get it one more time please Mongoose, just so there's no mistaking the answer:
If John Waters targets a player on Night 1, will that player be blocked on Night 1 or on Night 2?

Yeah, I think TH has done an amazeballs job of turning what (for me, at least) was going to be a certain vote for Roxy in the day or so after she got replaced, into some serious reconsideration.....but in the end, the numbers are too low for me to keep giving him the benefit of the doubt. I think he's bad. I think Made is probably bad. And I'm beginning to worry that Rico is also bad.
I'd like to vote TH or Made today.

*votes TH* It's the best possibility I can see. Unloess the baddies have done some excellent killing of each other, we're getting to the point where the game will just end if TH is Civ. The game could even end if TH is bad, and the last baddie on his team. I just hope there's been enough baddies killing baddies to balance out the Civvie slaughter that happens here daily.Mongoose wrote:If everyone votes early, I'll end the day early.Dom wrote:*vote TH*

Re: [Day 11]: Film Directors.
No, it means I see three players voting together without waiting for discussions, when it's do or die time, and I assume it means they are close to winning. Besides, even if I am a baddie Hack, that's not the team we need to try to take out today. The Brotherhoodlums are likely stronger than the Hacks numbers-wise and are probably close to taking over the game.
So yeah, if you want the game to end and the Brotherhood to win, by all means vote for poor and alone civvie TH.

Re: [Day 11]: Film Directors.
That's not how it is, TH. It's hard to judge whether you're a Civvie who feels that way, or a lone Hack. The way your last post reads... it feels a bit Hackish. My main point is, I'm really, truly, not a Brotherhood member. I think, were I a baddie, I wouldn't be saying this now. I have already said it, and I could just say nothing and the point would still be out there. But the reality is that I'm a Civvie, and this is not a Brotherhood ploy. It's becoming more and more likely that Dom and/or Canuck are Brotherhood members as the Civvie numbers dwindle, but I'm just a longtime Chump of this game. I think the longest-lived Civvie in a game like this must be the crappiest one, and that may just be me.

And it's silly to say that there's been no discussion about you. The discussion has literally been going on for days. And, well, we need less and less "evidence" to lynch a person as numbers dwindle, and the use of evidence proves time and time again to be not working out.

My "trust" for Dom and LC is provisional at best. Currently, they seem the most interested in finding baddies, and the least likely to be baddies. The latter also holds true for Vomps. I am by no means certain of my instincts here, but at this point in the game with the numbers breaking down how they are, one has to choose allies and choose to trust. It's a risk that has to be taken, and I've thrown my lot in with these two. We'll see how it all plays out.

Even if the trust is provisional, why would you trust them when you were wrong with them just the night before? No of this seems right to me. Does this make sense to anyone else?

Couldn't agree more with Made's read on the issue. The level of never bringing each other into discussion or saying "oh, well, she/he is suspicious, but I'm nowhere near voting for him" from LC and Canuck in particular has been stupendous these past days.

I believe we can still turn this thing around my friend. What do you make of Canuck defending MM?
Long Con wrote:Damn, Made... that's cold.
Well, I hope you're a baddie, Canuck. Some of the stuff you were saying earlier really made you look like a baddie to me, but your latest stuff has been very charming, so
I don't know. A lot of what you posted echoed my own feelings, and that makes me feel like you could be Civ. Or an empathetic baddie.

Also, the lesson Canuck learned from her own AWOL theory, after thinking the most inactive player must be bad and he flipped civ, is that the second most inactive player must be bad. At least I'm getting no other reasoning from her, prior to her nominating TH or Made as possible lynches today, other than a post in which she reacted to Made building a case on her.

Re: [Day 11]: Film Directors.
LC could very well be snowing me. He does it all the time. He could just be feigning agreement with me in order to gain my trust, knowing that I'm much more likely to trust those who carry the same suspicions I do. If so, he's doing a damn fine job of it and deserves the win. But honestly, that seems like a fuckton of work to put into gaining the trust of a single player who only a few days ago was a surefire lynch candidate. It doesn't make a lot of sense from a baddie POV, when abandoning me and getting me lynched would be a WAAAY easier and way faster way to burn through the civs.
I could be wrong about LC, I often am.
But I have chosen to trust him at this late stage in the game, and it may very well be my downfall, but sometimes you gotta take a risk, and at this point I'm more comfortable with the unknown quantity that is LC than the REALLY unknown quantity that is Lizzie/Made.
Dom gets a ticket on my trust wagon, too, because he's been damn consistent and playing a very odd game for a baddie. Also, he's more or less agreed with my main suspicions of late, so yeah. Those are the two I've thrown my lot in with. Vomps gets a pass because I'm 95% sure he's not a Hack, and have a strong feeling he's not a bro.
That means the rest of y'all are likely bad. That's just how the cookie crumbles.
I don't think a win is in the cards for me this game, and that's fine because the civs have really been mostly atrocious (me in particular), but I'm not ready to just give up and hand it to the baddies.
