I think I agree with this because there really isn't a price for the safe. I would think they would want one of the five treasures that they need.Dom wrote:i think the baddies put the safe up there to make us scared.

I feel more comfortable with this reasoning. However, I read it as the person who wants to trade the safe away offered not targetting Celestials as a prerequisite for trading, not as a bargaining chip. To the instigator, the safe is only for sale if the mafia will agree to terms.Bass_the_Clever wrote:I think I agree with this because there really isn't a price for the safe. Re: Harry Stephen Keeler [NIGHT 6]
But even if he is a celestial, and even if the celestials really did put that item up for sale (which I seriously doubt) there is no way the baddies can promise not to target a celestial. They don't know who is celestial and who is civ. I truly don't believe Dom is just trying to pull the wool over our eyes because the whole thing just doesn't make sense.Bass_the_Clever wrote:Or Dom is one of the Celestials and he is trying to play the civves...Metalmarsh89 wrote:I feel more comfortable with this reasoning. I don't know about you guys, but I had an awesome weekend! We had a big family party of Saturday for my sisters birthday Then we had Easter with all the cousins & the cousins kids, so we had almost 25 kids egg hunting, then egg rolling. Plus tons of wine, snacks and good times
Then next weekend is Orthodox Easter, and I get to do it all again (with even MORE people) with the other side of the family
Squeeeee!!!!!

I have another idea. Remember how Sandringham takes on different roles and uses their powers? Could he have taken on the millionaire's power last night and killed DF thinking he was a baddie?

I'm going to reread Canuck and Elo when I get home. They are two players who I usually have some sort of opinion on by now, and both of them have evaded my radar so far. I thought that Elo's reactions during Epi's lynch felt a little out of character so I'm going to start my search there.Dom wrote:I guess we'll find out at the end of the game.

I had also planned to look into DF but that's moot now. I was also worried about Bass but MM said something re: Bass that made me take pause. Id'd like to know where Bass is looking for this lynch.

I don't suspect Bass because LC was right that it's unlikely that if they switched roles that MM and Bass are on different alliances.Turnip Head wrote:I'm going to reread Canuck and Elo when I get home. Elo-- I usually have no opinion on her. So, IDK about that.
Cancuk-- I usually have a read. A quick reread had nothing of substance tbqh. That concerns me.
I'm also suspicious of SVS.

Re: Harry Stephen Keeler [DAY 7]
I've reread early-game Canuck, and this is the only post that sticks out to me atm:
That's not to say that Canuck hasn't made her opinions clearly known... I think that she has. She just doesn't seem as involved as I might expect her to be by now.
Canuck said she would get more talkative as the game went on, but the opposite has actually been true. In my estimation, Canuck had more posts and meatier posts during the first half of the game, and she has gradually dropped off since then. She posted four times on Day 5 and only once on Day 6.Canucklehead wrote:Sorry for not being around, my participation will increase as the game goes on and once RR is done...but you know me. No it doesn't mean anything to me yet, I'm more interested in hearing her response to it if anything. I've felt she's been rational and cautious this game; that is behavior that would benefit both civvies and baddies.

I think I've mentioned this before, but my prelims start in 6 days. The fact that I am posting at all is ridiculous, tbqh.
My posting rate will not increase. I will keep voting, and keep posting when I have a moment, but that's really all you should expect from me. I'm utterly useless other than as a civ number, but I'm definitely not a baddie.
