Like, there aren't even that many arrested parties + cops alive, are there? Some of these people are actually scum from a separate world and don't seem to have a grasp on this game. Like that Prisoner who just voted you because 'nub Golden'

Yeah, that doesn't look good for me in relation to Fuzz. He totally slipped my mind when looking at all the post counts.Prisoner 509378 wrote:Checking Scotty's interactions with Fuzz:
The latter sentence here confuses me. If you specifically remember that Fuzz mislynch in your first online Mafia game, then wouldn't that make you more conscious of Fuzz afterword and not less?Spoiler: show
Anyway, that exchange is all Scotty said about Fuzz prior to his lynch, and Scotty had a decent number of posts. His reaction to the mafia flip:
Ehh. Almost forcibly jubilant. I'm not great at reading into that type of thing, but this post doesn't do wonders for me.Spoiler: show

Scotty's a viable team mate of Fuzz. They didn't really interact much at all except in that goofy exchange above. I could see that as being the result of unconscious avoidance, something Fuzz took note of and tried to amend -- but it comes out awkwardly.
No need for name calling. There are many reasons for being locked up, doesn't mean we are all "bad."Scotty wrote:How many undercover cops could there actually be?Golden wrote:Some of them could actually be undercover cops, for all we know.Scotty wrote:Some of these guys aren't even playing for the hometeam. Hello, Scott. I know I've been away for a long time. I haven't called or written or given any outward indication that I value you, but I want you to know that I've changed. I apologize for killing that therapy group we were in back in the 90s. That was poor judgment on my part. In prison this would count as disrespect, and me and my boys would find you in the mess hall brother.Golden wrote:If the 14 of you actually account for 14 votes, that would be massively unbalanced. I'm guessing that you don't.
Fixed it. 9 votes that [probably] don't belong to civs.Scotty wrote:So let's do a little summary here.
There are currently 5 prisoners that we know are part of the mafia families (6, if you count dead LC). That leaves 9 prisoners without an apparent win-con or motive, that [probably] can vote in this lynch.
Does that not bother anyone else?
Yes. It's why I figure that can't be that they each have a vote that counts as one.Scotty wrote:So let's do a little summary here.

There are enough prisoners to outnumber the amount of players, so I have my doubts that their votes count at all.Scotty wrote:So let's do a little summary here.

Do you mind if I answer this in a few hours? I'm at uni and my lecture is about to start, plus I'm on my phone which is awful enough to type with.Prisoner 509378 wrote:Checking Quin's interactions with Fuzz:
I'm not a fan of this post for a couple of reasons:Spoiler: show
1. Quin backed off of an assertion that I think is sometimes agreeable (blatantly strange behavior is often a towntell) and I don't know why he felt this compulsion to change his mind.
2. This sort of dialogue with a confirmed baddie is a bit suspicious at face value. It's tame, it's safe, and most importantly it features the impression of distance (Fuzz challenging a Quin point) but without any sort of actual accusation.
It's easy to look at a post like this and come to an immediate negative stance. Quin staunchly defended a confirmed baddie. That doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing though, because in my experience when a player is this dead wrong on a read it usually is reflective of genuine wrongness. On the occasion it is indeed maliciously-motivated, it tends to come from players who have a special knack for WIFOM (like MacDougall for example). I don't know that I'd associate Quin with that type of player, though I acknowledge that I haven't played with him. I'd like to hear what Sloonei thinks of this specific thought given his experience playing with Quin.Spoiler: show
Again a strong pro-Fuzz stance is asserted. The same principles apply. By this point it appears a Fuzz lynch was well in hand? Please correct me anyone if I am mistaken. If that's the case, then one could argue that Quin didn't want to make the always-suspicious late-phase pile-on vote for a team mate. However, it is at least consistent with Quin's prior defensiveness of Fuzz and I don't think that assumption should be automatic.Spoiler: show
I'll look at one post-Fuzz-lynch post too here. Given that Quin was so incorrect about Fuzz, I think there's value in checking his reaction to the baddie flip. He stood by his guns and a little frustration showed through the cracks too. At least in terms of tone, I am not perturbed.Spoiler: show
---------------
The first post is the worst of it that I can see. However, I am not overwhelmingly sold on a Quin lynch. His defenses of Fuzz do not bear the standard appearance of a mafia-mafia interaction. It's possible, but it's atypical.
So... laze around and then fuck up the lynch? No, thanks, I've waited too long to get out of the clink to waste my time messing the outside world up. I'll be reading back through the game tonight and tomorrow to try to offer some actual assistance.Prisoner 277058 wrote:I'm just gonna say this. Scott, you just don't get it, do you? Your father is back and all you can do is worry about these silly details. It reminds me of the time you kept challenging me on my plan to kill your uncle in an easily-escapable trap. Bad guys don't ask questions. They just frickin' do stuff.
