For the most part, I've seen her engage in some pretty heated arguments, break down for a sec, reporting a player to the Mod, losing her dearest on Night 1...

These things don't make me think that she has been liking the game, like, at all.

And yet, unlike Zebra, I do believe Silverwolf has been enjoying the game, which makes me think her saying so was a slip of sorts.
If it's a "slip", then what has she revealed? Do you think the baddie team is having more fun in this game than everyone else so far?

I don't think she would be enjoying this game, as she states, if she were a civvie.

Let's put you in the situation...

You're civvie. You lose your girlfriend (whom you always play with in this scenario, also this being the last game you two will apparently be playing with together, for awhile) N1. You reveal something very personal while having a standoff with another player in the thread. You get so mad at someone in the thread, you report them to the Mod.

Are you "really liking" this game, 3J?

I have no idea. I've never been in that scenario. I am frankly doubtful that you really believe in your own commentary right now. Between calling "I'm having fun" a slip and spending like five posts talking about how I capitalized "plan", I think it's fair to wonder whether you're deliberately exaggerating your Matt ways just for show.

Ugh, the only game I have ever "copied Matt mania meta" was in GoC, and that was on like, Day 6 when my teammate advised me to do so. In fact, I'd hazard to say that I was even "Matting" before I intentionally did it.

Anyway, again, I dun care. Vote for me next day phase, see where that gets you. Luckily, I believe my Cylon Rezz ship is still in pieces.

Also Matt, you still haven't explained why this makes any difference regarding Silverwolf's alignment. If those things evidence a lack of fun for her as a civilian, why would that not also hold true if she is not a civilian?

If she's Mafia, then I would believe...

1) She'd care less that ika was killed. Especially since they can read each other so well apparently, that would actually be a good thing for her.

2) In the case that she were Mafia, I'd almost have to rethink my thoughts on Epi himself. He would most certainly have to be her baddie teammate, unless she was simply lying about reporting him, making it seem more serious then it was.

Since you stopped answering the question here, I'll respond here.

Not good enough. You're asserting that if Silver is "really liking" the game that it's an indicator that she's bad. This means you're saying that this above speculation about ika is enough to overturn everything else you said that "should be" making the game less fun for her in the scenario you're painting.
Matt wrote:2) In the case that she were Mafia, I'd almost have to rethink my thoughts on Epi himself. He would most certainly have to be her baddie teammate, unless she was simply lying about reporting him, making it seem more serious then it was.
This is irrelevant to what I asked, and I don't think those two are baddie team mates in any universe.

Matt-You are really starting to piss me off.

We just caught scum that I was pushing and got a cylon before that, that I was pushing and think is also scum even if everyone doesn't agree. Why in the hell wouldn't I be liking that? I also like the lore/setup quite a bit and think Golden did a great job with it. I also enjoy the complex analysis some are putting into the thread and the different dynamics of trying to figure out things like res ships and why some cylons die and others don't and anything else similar that makes this game uinque. I also enjoy playing with players like bea who I have never played with before but who seems super nice. I always enjoy meeting new people like that in mafia games.

Instead of saying I slipped and asking everyone else what I think and basically calling me a liar, I don't know, why don't you ask me about it?

No, I'm not happy ika died but if I was miserable in every game he died and I lived, I wouldn't bother signing up with him ever. Yeah, I got into it with Epi. Nothing new there. So even though I had some bad spots, doesn't mean I'm not liking the game and it pisses me off you are calling me a liar or think you know what I'm thinking or feeling more than I do. It sure as hell doesn't say shit about my alignment. And for to assume I'd be liking this as scum when scum was just caught, is beyond me.

If I wasn't enjoying the game, I'd replace out. I don't waste my time doing things that are unenjoyable for me if I can avoid it.

As a civvie, not so much. No way, actually.

It's cool, chica, I'm just playing the game. If you get "pissed off" at me again for "calling you a liar", feel free to contact Dom or Golden and we can hash it out. :)

This is bullshit. You don't know shit about me or what I like or don't in a game-especially as baddie vs civ. If you weren't known for these kind of conspiracy theories, I'd be more annoyed than I am already but it and maybe even start getting suspicious over it. I would know more than anyone if I like a game or not. It's super frustrating to say I'm lying about it or that I'm bad because of it. I wouldn't be liking a game as a baddie where one of my teammates just got lynched nearly as much as I would as a civ who just helped lynch scum.

This is also an active game that has held my interest and that I check frequently. I like these games as civ far more than as bad because as a baddie I have to fight off some super strong analytical players who are actively posting and figuring things out which really isn't nearly as fun as being a civ who is participating in that.

I really don't understand how your brain works at all. And it's probably best that I try not to figure it out.

No, I think you're bad.

One moment you are "pissed off" that I am "suspecting you of lying" (haha), the next moment you are hurling insults my way about my brain function (which, personally, I don't mind you saying it, it's just funny you would insult me at all after feigning being "mad" about me playing the game)...

You bad. I'll be sure to vote for ya tomorrow.

Real question - Do you believe Silverwolf has been "really liking" this game so far?
If you asked me yet, I have not seen, so I will take a stab at it.

I think it is totally possible, why would she lie about this?

As someone who lashes out on occasion myself , in the vast majority of the games I have played where I lost it and melted down, I can only think of two where the game was permanently ruined for me. Most of those times, I shook it off, held my head up and walked back into the thread.

Why do you think a meltdown, or even a few meltdowns or emotional moments ruin someones game so they no longer enjoy it? Some people LIKE emotional outbursts, it makes them feel passionate and alive. On occasion this is an problem I have, becasue I have an organic issue that can cause emotional shutdown for me. Now, this is not a problem for ME; I enjoy it and freaking out is cathartic for me other than the embarrassment factor. It's the people AROUND me who don't enjoy it. SO I have been trying to learn to better control myself so that I can stop doing that TO people. But it does not ruin my day.

Did it ever occur to you that it does not ruin Silvers day, either?

SVS...

What do you make of an experienced player such as Silverwolf getting "pissed off" that I am accusing her of lying in a game where we are trying to find out who the liars are? Then proceeds to insult my brain function?

No, I think you're bad.

One moment you are "pissed off" that I am "suspecting you of lying" (haha), the next moment you are hurling insults my way about my brain function (which, personally, I don't mind you saying it, it's just funny you would insult me at all after feigning being "mad" about me playing the game)...

You bad. I'll be sure to vote for ya tomorrow.

Stop asking everyone else what I'm thinking and ask me. Where did I insult your brain function by saying I can't figure you out and don't want to try? You are insulting me by saying I'm lying about enjoying a game I'm enjoying. Go ahead and vote me. I don't give a fuck. I'm also not going to address this with you again. Not only are you calling me a liar but saying I'm faking being mad. Get bent.

No I'm pissed off about WHAT you are calling me a liar about. That's what's pissing me off. Yeah, I guess if you don't want me to enjoy this game you can keep this petty BS up and I won't.

I'm done with this.

I don't know. Maybe she is easily offended? Maybe she thinks you are full of shit? But I don;t see what that has to do with her liking or not liking the game. To be honest, the two of you are two of the three strongest town reads I have.

Step back from the piece of Reynolds Wrap (and that is not an insult, we all do it on occasion) and listen to what she is saying as a whole rather than taking one little thing and examining it under a microscope. If you sit and stare at the back of your hand, or your nose in a mirror, for long enough, it starts to look monstrous (I know, I did this in a psychology class in college). You totaly lose tracl of the big picture that way.

I think in all the games I have played with her or watched her play, she is always very sure. She & Ika call things confirmed that we never would. And you know this to be true.

Sincere question: Why do you guys keep picking coordinates within the above 6x6 grid as opposed to thinking outside of the box?

Actually, my experience with them is very limited, I've played in a few games with them, Turf Wars and Downton, for example, where either she or I was killed very early.

Still. I think she's bad.

OK, I will give you this. I follow all the games, even the ones I don;t play. But yeah, her & ika call things "confirmed" very easily, and it is my observation that they make rapid decisions. COuld be related to where they played before. Different standards, they have not been mindfucked by hosts quite so much as we have perhaps :omg:

And I respect that you think she is bad. I disagree.

That's because the polls are showing an inaccurate voting order and you might want to know what the real voting order is in case of the possibility that the admiral jumps the fleet somewhere in the middle. The poll isn't very helpful.

You can present it to the Gridmistress, but I doubt she will go for it. But no guts, no glory, right?

Linki, again, you cant know what goes on in a different persons mind, or what they do and do not like. You can project how YOU might feel, but cliches aside, walking a mile in someone elses moccasins is pretty much impossible.
