Re: Cerberus Tribe - Night 2
First off, I'd like to direct as many people as possible to what could be my magnum opus in terms of mafia posting, where I took a post explaining my complicated stance on Sloonei, (warily reading as town, but definitely not taking my eyes off of him) ran it through an insanifier, and sang the results into my phone. I then spent twenty minutes in Garageband making whatever the hell this is:

Hell, if we keep it up spreadin the vote, we may never lynch anyone until the merge.
May not be a bad idea...I would like to at least make the merge with you fine people
RE: ninja’s thought that we may not be all bad-
Highly doubt it, that would be a rough structure and highly unfair I feel. Golden knows what he’s doing with the structure.
ninja dying N1 gives me no hope in that regard- the only other option is a vigi but honestly that was a bad choice for a vigi shot if so.
Nah, there’s at least an SK or what have you.

Re: Cerberus Tribe - Day 2
I can see why you might believe it, since Sloonei has gone back and forth and sig frankly has done little to seem like he has an actual real suspicion of Sloonei. However, I just ISOed all of sig's posts and all of Sloonei's post that contain the word "sig" and I came out with some pretty clear opinions on this. After reading the progression of Sloonei's posts on sig, his suspicions of sig and then by extension Lorab seems pretty natural to me. His actions seem more sincere in trying to feel out sig. But reading sig's posts, it felt like his responding "no u" seems to have only come when pushed by Jack. Nothing in his "case" for Sloonei seems sincere. Additionally, I think the fact Sloonei is eyeing Lorab as well seems interesting since she seemed to have made a stray post in the middle of the Sloonei/sig stuff. Which is part of why Sloonei looks more sincere to me. I don't believe you're seeing w/w here. I think it's either Sloonei town vs sig wolf, or town/town. I'm not convinced of sig, like i wouldn't feel comfortable voting him, knowing his kind of history for early mislynches. But I would put him as a light orange at the moment perhaps.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2018 10:48 pm@Spacedaisy plzJackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2018 3:33 pmYou don’t understand it or you disagree with it?Spacedaisy wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2018 3:29 pm Ok, I just caught up on everything from my last post to the end, now I need to catch up on the stuff before that I missed, lol.

Re: Cerberus Tribe - Day 2
I'm not floundering? I'm just not playing super seriously yet, taking a more laid back approach. I also have very little to say atm, don't have many strong reads. ectnijuukyugou wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2018 6:35 pm Fuck it. sig's all over the place. I'm re-reading interactions between him and Sloonei, and he's floundering like crazy. He might be weird, but not usually floundery. I want to have more time to look at the Lorab comparison before I make an uninformed vote in her direction. Pulling the trigger and vote sig. (Did I do that right? Friggin' tags.)
Someone mentioned me flipflopping on Sloonie or something, I think I explained that reasoning very well.
nijuukyugou wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2018 6:26 pm Mmmmk so my thought process is this from reading so far:
Sloonei takes suspicion for coming out Sloonei (guns a'blazin', that is) and for flip-flopping a lot. This thought crossed my mind as big fat WIFOM, but I'm thinking he's good and doing the civ thing right now. We don't have enough being said to not play around with words and cast suspicion in places for reaction gauges, so this appears more civ than bad. And it stands out.
sig is being weird and avoiding a lot of simple questions. Is there something else I'm missing? Or are people latching on to whatever weirdness they can get? I totally understand if so, but if that's all it is, I'm not inclined that way, either.
Lorab is, according to Jack, apparently acting like she does when she's bad? How so?
Ugh. Votes and decisions. It's amazing I'm able to play this game at all.
I don't recall ignoring any questions?
Also since Speed was lynched and revealed does that mean he's died twice? Since I seem to recall it saying you don't flip on your first lynch.

Which is why people were wondering if nijuu was a mafia sacrifice.
Speedchuck is most definitely town or at least civ-leaning, because there aren’t enough people in the game to warrant a mafia doctor.

Re: Cerberus Tribe - Night 2
MacDougall was hunched in a corner, musing to himself about how best to put his plans into actions. His acolytes were waiting for instruction.
"Those fools" said MacDougall "They actually believe the Citadel Council put MacGoogle into the system. And did they really think I would be hired to be a train engineer? This lot are so naive. They couldn't even tell that I'd faked my own death.
But we have a problem. The Citadel Council have clearly got plants, people in the system who are doing their bidding. It's getting in the way of my plans for world dominance. Or at least, for dominance of the Syndicate once and for all. I see no other option, devotees. It's time to be ruthless."
"We know what we must do." said an acolyte. They stood up and departed.

Re: Cerberus Tribe - Day 3
I have a question for you, Sloonei:
Do you have a good reason not to vote her, based on what she’s given us? Granted, I know she’s been busy and we still haven’t lynched anyone but let’s talk about her conviction and way of speech.
I’d like to draw attention to the similarities between her baddie game that you graciously linked. There’s not too much to go on in posts in this game, but in both games she unsubstatiates reads. It’s like she’s presenting a pasta dish in a cooking show but she doesn’t know how much salt or tomato sauce or spaghetti to put in the pot so instead she just UberEats McDonalds. There’s just not a lot there.
Also seeing reproductions in syntax such as “honestly, ...”
Here’s the trouble with comparing this game to any other- there’s still not a lot to nab her on. It’s a lot of gut based on perception but I don’t have a definite case. That would require some actual reads.
“I don’t really suspect anyone” is lazy and could be either civ or mafia but I feel like she’s holding back

It's also honest. If not having any major suspicions makes me suspicious, then I can't do anything about that. I'll add that I'm not the only one withough suspicions.
Also, if you're going to look at my Fiddler game, I'd also suggest you look at my Buffy game, in which I was also bad.
This is my: "I'm seriously busy right now and can only post so much and don't have any suspicions right now" and I'm hoping that I'll find reason to have suspicions as the game goes on, so that I can figure out the baddies.

Re: Cerberus Tribe - Day 3
I don't disagree that comparisons can be drawn to LoRab in this game and Fiddler, but I would hesitate to pounce on them. There has been next to no consensus in this thread and very little in the way of strong reads from anyone. LoRab probably stands out as being the most off the radar, though, and that worries me some. She's provided reasons for this which make her absence understandable, but do not tell me anything about her alignment.
In a sort of answer to your question, Scotty, I have no reason to town read LoRab. I'd consider voting for her today. I'm not eager to settle on her for being the easiest target.

Understandable. I’ve had those moments. But in those moments, I still feel like civ LoRab would have more conviction and would at least stick to her guns.LoRab wrote: ↑Thu Mar 01, 2018 8:07 pm It's also honest. You’ve hinted that you think Boom is off, but only a slight extent. And I can see that you’re at least reading the thread when you do have downtime, but here again you don’t offer any reads of people other than defending your meta.

Re: Cerberus Tribe - Day 3
Scotty's first role was the insanifier. That seems like it'd be an independent role. It was linked to the Reapers in Mass Effect. The Citadel Council (also from Mass Effect) are bad guys in the flavor text, but the Reapers and the Citadel are not buddies in ME. I do not think Scotty 1.0 was aligned with town. What that means for Scorty 2.0, I'm unsure.

There are no easy targets because we’ve learned nothing from our side aside from ninja having a mason and my old insanifying role.Sloonei wrote: ↑Thu Mar 01, 2018 8:10 pm I don't disagree that comparisons can be drawn to LoRab in this game and Fiddler, but I would hesitate to pounce on them. If we ever want to lynch someone we will need more votes than the other tribe, which means more consensus. I’d still treat this as a D1. I hate D1s but someone should go, cause someone be killing and I’m pissed

LoRab is the easy target. She's the player who's been in the background without contributing a whole lot and with no outlandish behavior. That's an easy target regardless of how much "information" we have to go off of.Scotty wrote: ↑Thu Mar 01, 2018 8:17 pmThere are no easy targets because we’ve learned nothing from our side aside from ninja having a mason and my old insanifying role.Sloonei wrote: ↑Thu Mar 01, 2018 8:10 pm I don't disagree that comparisons can be drawn to LoRab in this game and Fiddler, but I would hesitate to pounce on them. Why is it so important to you that this tribe is responsible for the lynch?

I’m not saying to make them up, I’m just trying to get some thoughts on the game from you aside from “dunno”LoRab wrote: ↑Thu Mar 01, 2018 8:33 pmI've actually indicated the opposite about boom....Scotty wrote: ↑Thu Mar 01, 2018 8:13 pmUnderstandable.
