At a certain stage in the game, real time interaction will be more valuable than reading old shitScotty wrote: ↑Wed May 02, 2018 10:14 pmIt’s unfortunate, because the WIFOM here is tenuous.Turnip Head wrote: ↑Wed May 02, 2018 10:10 pm I will say I don't think we should lynch Daisy, she's been an under-the-radar baddo before but she has a different bite here imo. Busy towner with a boring role methinks
If we don’t lynch her, and she continues to be behind, then she’s just a loose cadaver in the trunk fighting for our side if she’s good, and a silent killer if she’s bad.
I want her to participate or else sooner or later, I’m gonna want her policy lynched. Just my opinion tho

Re: Ancient Greece Mafia [Day 1]
Oh, I forgot this Colin-nova interaction from colin’s side:
Eh
It’s hardly damning. Colin had limited engagement past N1, so I’m sorta grasping at straws.
I still feel strongly in my breakdown of colin’s first player salad identifying dunya as looking not suspect. It’s all circumstantial tho, it’s nothing she can respond to adequately.
I dunno guys. I was checking through a bunch of people’s ISO’s and generally speaking, people had their suspicions of Colin. Means some mafia most likely distanced at some point. It’s just identifying when.
Lumping nova with sig as victims with baseless accusations. ‘Both look civ’ColinIsCool wrote: ↑Tue Apr 24, 2018 5:52 pm I don't like the case for nova right now; reading the thread, it looks like it's based on the whole sig thing, but then why wouldn't people just vote sig? Feels weird to me, but sig doesn't seem like scum either. I don't think using hedge words is necessarily a scum tell, I think some people just talk like that (you might notice I say the word "just" about a thousand times a post, for example.) Nothing after that changed my view of him.
I don't think Epignosis is scum right now. I think he doesn't give a shit, but there's a big difference there. I can't support lynching him.
So as far as people who did ping me ... The case against lunalee was interesting. I really don't like the scenario she outlines where Persians conspire on day 1 to lynch dunya, I don't think it's likely and it seems like big buddying. She kind of reminds me of my scum play in FWWM, possibly acting overly friendly as obfuscation. GTH, scum read right now, and that's the best I can go for.

It's funny that sig literally said that in his first post.
But mafia need to be lynched, whereas Indies only maybe need to be lynched. Hence why I don't want to lynch them right now.

From my perspective, her behaviour around Long Con was the most suspicious. It still could be suspicious even with LC being good, but I need to reevaluate that. My immediate reaction to the LC result was that it meant Luna was less likely to be bad.

I caught Colin red handed voting off wagon. The most likely reason for it is protection of someone or defence of Luna. Either could be possible, but I'm leaning toward protection right now.
This is a fairly uninformed read right now, so it's more of a signpost of my thoughts.

I'm thinking about this. Hiding behind a prophet is a kind of pointless scum tactic considering the message is based on opinion. It's not a very good argument.novaselinenever wrote: ↑Wed May 02, 2018 6:55 pmI have been busy and I missed almost the entirety of D3 and the beginning of D4. I don’t know his meta, but one could say nova has been “coasting” of late. After Colin got lynched, he’s definitely lost a bit of wind in his sails
About D3, I announced my intention of pushing Lunalee before Colin's push since I believed that his vote for her D1 was a distancing vote on one of his teammate. A meaningless off-wagon vote. I also didn't like how she jumped on the Oracle's prophecy and tried to confirm herself with it, while ignoring my questioning her. That's why I left a vote on her at the start of D3, before leaving.
Now with the other prophecy mentioning her and town-reading her, I have my doubts and I think she is that role. She used the prophecy to save herself and hinting at her role. So I'm not too sold on lynching her today.
Last but not least, I would say that activity is non-alignment indicative for me. I'm being honest here and I've played several games here and players can attest to that. I have been seen " coasting " as Town in my previous games as Town here, and also in a game as scum.
Thing is, I don't know either of them very well. Would scum Luna do this? Would town nova make this argument?
Also, "I announced my intention of pushing" puts me off. It seems rehearsed.

That's exactly what happened with Colin and his off-wagon vote on Luna at the very end of D1. I read it as a distancing vote from him on one of his teammates.

It's the wording, not the context.
When I'm bad I can spend ages crafting a post to make it more enticing. I feel like I'm better at feigning authenticity than most, and that phrase looked to me like that done wrong.

Colin's vote came across as genuine suspicion (or as close to genuine as scum can get) which makes me think he was trying to get a train going. Good look for her.
I thought she looked bad after her LC vote yesterday or the day before. Him being good, not so much. I might have the energy for a proper ISO tonight.

It was chaotic but not the kind of chaotic allowing a quick wagon to form. There were 3 main wagons (me, Epi and sig) almost all tied at 4. His vote would have most likely decided who gets lynched or not.

Yeah that's pretty accurate. My first game of mafia ever on a forum was about five months ago, so I'm still learning steadily. I have never gotten mafia before but I won my second game ever as Serial Killer. I don't know if I can make a joke about the last sentence as it might be against the rules and I don't want to get killed immediately haha. But I don't really have a meta because I'm all over the placedunya wrote: ↑Mon Apr 23, 2018 5:27 am wolbre04, I look forward to seeing your reads!
also, do you think sig represented you accurately in the blurb below?
sig wrote: ↑Sun Apr 22, 2018 2:52 pm Also wolbre and I are from the same original site, we've aldo played on mu once together. However, every game we've played together I've been mafia or independent so I never really bothered to learn his meta.
I don't believe he's ever been mafia and is still new to mafia as a whole compared to all of us, he's also deadily as an independent and in my opinion if he's one of those three trading guys he'll side with mafia for the lolz.

I think the Oracle is just as fallible as the rest of us, except they're operating in the past. makes me think he actually is indy. it didn't matter that sig wasn't representing him right at first but it does now that he's in the hotseat.colonialbob wrote: ↑Thu May 03, 2018 7:12 amWhat does this make you think about wolbre?Quin wrote: ↑Thu May 03, 2018 6:04 amDoesn't line up.wolbre04 wrote: ↑Thu May 03, 2018 5:54 amSig hasn't played enough with me to make a statement like that lol. I say we give the Oracle another day. As far as we know now, there is a civilian out there that truly thinks Luna is a civilian.

The answer: all of them, if you are a marmot.

I've been too busy to keep up with day 4. Hopefully I'll be around enough to make an informed vote. If someone wants to give me a good reason to move my vote off dunya, I'll consider.
