Kyle dig:

Kyle has consistently claimed to be Mario Party 6 throughout the game. That's good, considering we have people backing that up with an (apparent?) town utility. Can someone actually link me to an explanation of what playing his games does, because I missed it this time.

Kyle has lots of stuff to say at different times about Eloh, Scotty and Long Con (look to page 3 and 4 of his ISO, I'm not quoting it all). It sounds genuine, but YMMV.

As an side, with so many damn players I really don't know know what to look for in terms of interactive analyses at this point. I'm wondering if Luna's treatment of her teammates is part of that overall team's strategy and maybe we should consider it from that team but not necessarily the other one (unless we have evidence of the other team also doing that?)

Overall Kyle has good contributions and I struggle to point out differences (aside from shitposting, which we have all done) to his town game in Easter running concurrently to this.

Kyle gets a TOWN.

Motel Room dig:

Motel Room has 63 posts.

I don't know why he would quote this post of Scotty's randomly.

From my perspective these townreads of me and JJJ seem a little easy. Nothing controversial there.

He has consistently referenced beer and claimed to be beer.

Aside from that, I have literally no idea, but I saw those couple of things that made me feel weird, so...

Motel Room gets a POTENTIAL LYNCH (on admittedly extremely shaky ground).

One of the first things dunya asked me in our btsc night 2 was if I was a regular civilian or absolute unit.

I thought she was just trying to read me. That sly devil.

Just for my own reference, when did people start seriously suspecting you in Easter? I've not kept up with the game.

(If we can talk about that since it's still going on?)

sig dig:

Includes quite a few members of scum teams as leaning civ, but across different teams.

Calls out Lilefer fairly early on.

Asks people to literally build a case on him. WIFOM, but, ... ehh.

He makes a shit ton of legacy posts, but I'm not sure exactly why he feels like he's going to get nightkilled so much. Care to comment sig?
sig wrote: Fri Jun 01, 2018 5:26 pm Also I notice when Juliets got some shade thrown on her, she started to lay low. Now I'm not saying lets lynch her now, but we should keep an eye on her for a bit imo.

If we do have a cop I wouldn't mind them checking her, Colin, or Bob. I also don't believe LC claim that she's the role checker I think it was a way to sow discord and chaos among town.

And the super tin foil part of my mind thinks she and LC are teammates they weren't really trying to get him lynched and I backfired their attempt at distancing, but that seems very unlikely and don't want her lynched when we have scummier players.
Interesting perspective on Long Con and Luna here. Doesn't feel like the kind of thing a teammate would say.

I have a harder time getting a grasp on sig's content in this game, but I struggled to find anything that really stood out as scum in the midst of some genuine game-solving looks, so he gets a TOWN lean, but further down the POE than people like juliets or cbob.

If I were helping the manager with the lineup today, I would want sig at shortstop. He seems to be agile enough to create some great double plays, and it looks like he's catching anything and everything. I like that about sig.

I'd have juliets at catcher, since she's sending signals and facilitates a proper, no-nonsense inning. She also showed concern about my time on the DL, which is not something my opponents would want to do.

Sloonei would be at first base because he's shown the flexibility required to make plays while keeping his foot on the bag this whole time. He has looked awkward doing it, but it's effective. I'd like to hear more about his experiences.

I think I'd make Kylemii my second baseman. He has caught grounders and fly balls from both right and left handed batters.

Dragon D. Luffy would be in left field, naturally. He's shown himself to be good defensively in the position, even if there are stretches where it looks like he isn't doing anything, but that's okay because he is doing what he's supposed to.

And I'm Charlie Blackmon, center fielder for the Colorado Rockies.

C: juliets
1B: Sloonei
2B: Kylemii
3B:
SS: sig
LF: DDL
RF:
CF: Charlie Blackmon

If you didn't make the lineup, don't fret! There's still plenty of time today to show me why you think you should be in it, and we still need a third baseman and a right fielder. We do have to cut someone from consideration today though.

Sloonei dig:

If Sloonei is scum, it goes without saying that his play here is DRAMATICALLY different from in Greece. Which may be NAI, but I dunno.

Sloonei made arguments in the nightpoll argument that seemed legit at the time. Reading it back, Grandma does take a few different stances though, so I'd ask you to jump in and note whether it feels organic or "whatever way the wind blows."

I don't understand any of the reasons he votes for anybody, other than a reflexive one against Nutella. At the same time, though, many people voiced suspicion of Sloonei under similar rationale, so it strikes me as odd that it would strike Sloonei so severely.
Sloonei wrote: Wed May 23, 2018 10:54 pm
ColinIsCool wrote: Wed May 23, 2018 10:51 pm Grandma Sloonei, do you think you could get Richard to help you make a case on nutella in a little more depth? I know he’s so good with computers.
RICHARD IS ON A ROADTRIP TO VISIT ALL THE PIZZA HUTS ALONG THE EAST COAST, WE ARE SO PROUD
This might be the funniest post I've read on this site, btw.

Again, I don't think Sloonei's role lends itself to being scum knowing what we know about the scum roles in this game, but I must admit it's possible. There are few reasons to townread Sloonei, but many reasons to read him as burnt out and subbing in as a favor to make Kenway's role actually make sense.

Sloonei is TOWN but farther down on POE than others.

Ignore the first link, I can't claim to be having a perfect tone reading game if you bring those up. :p

I was paranoid when I came back that someone would get me again and wanted to get my shit out there since I was stuck in sex cave forever, plus I was also trying to outmaneuver Zeph in case he claimed I was scum to get me lynched.

I've also had kinda bad luck with getting killed recently so figured I'd be safe. Not that anyone bothered to follow my legacy posts. :pout:

The case thing was half a joke, usually people scum read me and I get lynched fairly early on in games so when most people civ read me it freaks me out.

Looking through the first few pages of Easter then of this game I'm seeing a different game from colins and even a different tone. Now i've known mafia who can employ different metas in different games at the same time, but in my eyes he looks much better here then in Easter or Greece. So I'd rather not lynch him.

Turbup dig:

Turbup has claimed at several times to have a morphing role. On Day 1, it was a balloon animal. On Day 2, it was a baseball to be hit by Charlie Blackmon. On Day 3, he claimed host of the game. I think it's obvious that none of this is true. And so on. NAI.

He offered up the biggest defense of Eloh of anybody in the game, which is quite a gambit if they're teammates... unless she was his last teammate. That's objectively false so it actually kinda seems like a good look for him.

He called me supertown here and consistently read me town throughout the game, but has reversed course with very little rationale or evidence. It's OMGUS, but it strikes me as seriously weird to have that kind of turnaround. He admits the read changed so there's that in his (slight) favor.

Between all the jokes, it's very hard for me to read Turbup. His most spirited gameplay comes in the defense of Eloh and I walk away feeling better about Turbup.

I would lean TOWN right now, but lower on POE.

OK. So for those of you keeping track at home, my reads look like this from best to worst, with labels:

ColinIsCool (TOWN)
Charlie Blackmon
juliets
Colonialbob
Kyle
sig
Turnip Head
Sloonei
Dragon D. Luffy (IF YOU FUCK US OVER I'LL CUT YOU)
motel room (POTENTIAL LYNCH)
insertnamehere
Kites

So that said, I am parking myself at a [VOTE: KITES] aubergine lynch for the time being. I will keep an eye on the thread to see if wagons form around other suspects though so by all means, poke through my reads, answer my questions, give us all something more to work with.

Tyvm colin. I tried to explain my reversed reverse read on you but sometimes words don't paint an accurate picture of my thoughts.

I find myself more at home defending people I think are town than to try an accuse people of being bad. I'm usually better at reading people who are misunderstood, which is what I thought I saw with Elo. My baddie reads are mostly gut and impulse whereas I try to take a more nuanced approach when reading for fellow townies. I only defended Elo so hard because I was the only voice in her corner.

Just a lil nugget of my meta for ya :)

Thank you for your reads Colin. I'm going to stay with TH for now but may change later. I'm just having a hard time being convinced to vote an inactive probably because of my Ass Class experience. We were so sure an inactive was mafia and lynched two (maybe 3) but the one inactive who WAS bad we let live. We lynched inactive until we lost the game.

These are the only mentions of Elohcin or Colin Kites has made. Kites never said which Eloh voters were untrustworthy. The first post was in the second inning, and the second post was in the third, when Eloh was called out on strikes. There is no thought process from Colin is good to Colin gets voted.

In fact I made the claim early on in the Eloh lynch that we should not just pile onto that wagon, that we should look at other people too and not waste a day without discussion, so the fact that he singles me out as if to say I hopped on an easy wagon makes almost zero sense, in my opinion.

Ohhh interesting. This does not look good.
The issue is in our splits though:

Righties

Lilefer - A Bowl of Noodles - ISIS Cream - Lynched Day 2
Elohcin - A Hammer - ISIS Cream - Lynched Day 3
Scotty - Binary Numeral System, ISIS Cream - Killed Night 3
Lunalee - Hurricane Katrina - ISIS Cream - Killed Night 5

Lefties

novaselinenever - The Truth - Al-Pieda - Mod-killed Night 2
Long Con - The Endless Void - Al-Pieda - Lynched Day 5

We've been lights out against righties, but we struggle against southpaws.

I bring this up, because I can't see there being anymore than one more righty remaining, and if it's Kites, then Kites isn't putting much of a fight. All things being equal, I'd like to get another lefty out this inning.

And those left-handed bats have looked downright scary; from what I saw, there's some potential switch-hitting that could have happened.

What are the chances one among you who came back from Long Con's spring training is now a switch hitter? :ponder:

One of the options I considered instead of becoming a grandmother was being a person who speakes entirely in baseball euphamisms. It would have been a bit redundant in this game, as it turns out. Don’t want to clog the bases.

I could be wrong, but if I'm interpreting Mac correctly, neither dunya nor sig "escaped" from Long Con but were freed upon his death, meaning there's a 0% chance they converted. I do not know about anybody that made it out previously, if there was anybody, but I'll check.

Vanished "with struggle" (Zephyrus):
Sig [brought back by DDL]
Kyle
Cbob

Vanished "without a trace"(Long Con):
juliets [brought back by DDL]
Sig (returned on LC lynch)
Dunya (returned on LC lynch)

Reading Mac's post, again, it doesn't look like people who were brought back by DDL qualifies as the random escape event, so I am reading this as nobody being converted, but maybe I'm missing something or someone has a different interpretation.

One of the options I considered instead of becoming a grandmother was being a person who speakes entirely in baseball euphamisms. It would have been a bit redundant in this game, as it turns out. Don’t want to clog the bases.

The way escape was explained to me if the "door" was open during the night I could get out and go across the Valley which was full of danger. I might die or I might be completely changed. Each night I was advised as to whether the door was open (it never was).

I believe I'm the only RYMer left standing. Actually Kites might be too, I don't recall, but anyway Sloonei was normal and admitted to basically subbing in because Kenway's role wouldn't make sense for anybody who wasn't a RYMer. We didn't really talk much but Sloonei didn't try to do anything to gain advantage with me, so the only avenue for manipulation would be the use of the role itself. I think he asked me what my reads were.

I mean anybody who knew that you knew what you knew.

And how did you target Long Con if Long Con?

Oh, then no there wasn't anyone to call me out. As dunya said (I think it was dunya) all three of us in the chatzy of lost souls agreed on Long Con and Turnip Head. I talked about both of them when I got out. We were divided on some other people like Colin and motel room as I recall.

I targeted LC with an alignment check preabduction, however I didn't share this until it was clear he might not get lynched. In the chatzy the three of us thought he was mafia, but not the vanisher. The general theory that we had was that TH was the vanisher.

I agree with Epi's thoughts on ISIS, which is why I'm hesitant to lynch INH, since he'd most likely be ISIS based on his voting pattern.

Kites has been so inactive voting them is a crapshot same with motel.

I agree with Epi as well and am reluctant to Lynch any of the inactive right now. There have to be some active(s) that are out there.
