honestly i have no fuckin idea how cool the rest of the town's roles are comparatively but mine seems pretty damn cool so let me live a few days k
i'm a stump.
this is incidentally probably why nutella was vanished last night by the way

Golden is lawyering hard on page 20 y'all. All about that interpretation and clause, no room for creativity, what do the words say.
I think you'll find Quin is lawyering a clear answer and I'm the one leaving open the possibility that the words don't tell us everything.
I think you want me to be wrong.
I thought that's what you'd think but I don't care.
It's easily resolved
@speedchuck - is the intention of listing the factions to preclude the possibility of independents?
(I have a very specific purpose I think they're listed - it's to prevent us claiming based on our 'faction name' - which is something I expect only town and mafia have. But I could well be wrong).

If that's why she vanished that's a bastard move. That makes me sad

Quin, as far as I'm concerned your 'no independents' has wilfully ignored two specific questions that I've asked to get you to engage on some of the aspects of that post - I think you just want to be right
I don't actually care if you're right or wrong, I just want you to be open-minded. If you're going to be some kind of town leader in this game, then best get your head out of the clouds and be open to the possible weaknesses in your analysis or you'll lead us all to hell.
I have absolutely zero problem calling out weaknesses.

I'm happy to just wait for speedchuck to answer or not. I think we just fundamentally disagree on the matter.
In the case there are independents though, you could think of it this way instead: Both INH and sig cannot be town.

Yes and I still think the correct move is to lynch one, just with due care and the fullest knowledge possible.
i think we should lynch sig because i'm still mad nobody voted to elect me last night

I feel like, if scum, Quin would have to be crazy to lie about this at the very beginning of the game. That makes me inclined to believe him. But Golden has a really good point — without flips, what are we supposed to do, lynch them both? Don’t like that.

oops
@speedchuck
You are correct.
There may be independents. I simply don't want people solving the game based on flavorful names.

Hey guys, want your opinions-
How likely is it that any 2 people have the same power role in a game like this?
I could see some that are faction-aligned — town doc and mafia doc for example — but probably not two within a faction. Unless a bevvy of info roles is one way to make up for the lack of public reveals. Why?
Turnip Head wrote: ↑Mon Jun 18, 2018 9:25 am
@sig are you going to lead us through this shit or what dude. what do you have for us?
Nothing!
Though for real I've gotta go to the gym then I'll be back and get serious and do some real game solving.
Can't go into detail on what the Quill did, but it basically added something to one of my abilities.
My guess is each time we elect someone it either gives them an extra ability or arguments a current one. So smh y'all should've taken that election more serious last night, try to act less like American voters and more like idk voters from a responsible country.

Hey, sig...
Quin is coming for your wig.
Bad quin Bad boy.
Though I agree with those who say Quin is town, don't see mafia quin doing that.
Not sure how I feel about Daisy preemptive defense about being framed through Nutella's disappearance
If you haven’t picked up yet, I’m putting my thoughts out there fairly unfiltered. That was my immediate thought when I saw the post. Right or wrong that was my knee jerk reaction to that. Someone else pointed out it could’ve been because of her claim of having a cool role too. All I know is she went after me Day 1 and I’m not bad, so if you were in my shoes how would you view that kill?

Fair point, I don't think Daisy would've ordered the hit on Nutella anyway for two reasons.
1. It would kind off frame her
2. I don't thinks it's within her character especially after she got into that spat with Nutella earlier.
So before I do some ISO and rereads my issue is this, I've got a shit ton of civ reads and leans, but nobody has done anything I find that bad.
TH could be mafia copying his civ play from last game but I don't see it.
Mac trying to get me lynched seems townie, if I wanna tin foil he's mafia who doesn't want his team to kill me to earlier since he just spewed that as something he'd do awhile back.
Nutella/Daisy looked c/c
Golden seems civvie and he's clearing Scotty for reasons, so I'll let that rest
