I don’t see anything about items on the first posts so correct me if I’m wrong, but having an item would make you a target would it not?

His temerity would suggest we’re in an open set-up, not a closed one.

[VOTE: epignosis] aubergine

Mulled it over. Epi can have the item, I’ll explain the why in the next day phase.

A negative side effect is that we don’t resolve whether TH was honest or not.

I’ve grown wary watching Golden’s confidence become bigger than my dick as a result of spearheading a couple of lynches we haven’t been able to verify, and I have a hard time trusting people when they just say I should for my own good. Every game I’ve played here so far has had a very active town leader be scum, and it may not be Golden, but the idea that someone loud is someone bad is something people seem to have categorically ruled out, and that ain’t great.
i'm gonna need you to quantify this. how big is your dick?

I hope so too. I'm not thinking about it too much or getting worried unless and until they discover something concerning. At the moment it's just a puzzle. At least it seems clearly not to be heart-related, which is positive because that would be the biggest worry with him.

Yeah you told me that. If you want to play it that way though I won't accept you getting huffy at me when we don't believe/trust you. You have really given us no reason to except perceived effort and effort is probably the easiest thing to fake.

I just don't understand why you'd keep it to yourself in light of how you dealt with Scotty unless it's some tell or some insight you have on her that allows you to guarantee your read her (which is borderline not fair tbh). It's fine for you to just tell me to suck eggs and deal with it because it's in your best interests but don't do that and then cry foul when people tinfoil you.

And in any event, what I did with scotty was revealed my own role and exposed myself to tell you he was town. I didn't say he was a doctor until after he claimed it, and I wouldn't have until after he claimed it.

DAY 2

"That's not even a beer!" Epi says, stepping forward. "And the glass? Pretentious. You don't know what you're talking about, guide. I'll prove it to you."

He snatches the voucher, and makes the transaction with the pale cyborg manning the bar.

Image

"This is whiskey," he grumbles, then takes a sip.

And though the other tour members don't see it, Epi's world changes.

Memories flood back, tinged and bittersweet, of different timelines. Different results that could have happened. His brief stint as a cowboy, lost in the fourteenth century.

Image

"There weren't even cowboys then," he mutters to himself.

The vision fades. Epi is reborn. And everyone is back on the blimp. All except one.

"Quin is gone. The work of the Paradox Police," the tour guide says, nodding sagely.

Epi doesn't care, at the moment. He takes the valuable liquor, coveted and also refused for some reason by many, and retreats to enjoy it in peace.

And all was peaceful. Until another window shattered.

"&^%$#@# &* IT!" the tour guide screams. "I JUST FIXED THAT!"

Sig has the same fury in his eyes that led him to mash his noggin all over the Bill of Rights.

"I'm back, sucka boys," he says.

QUIN has VANISHED. EPIGNOSIS has been ELECTED. SIG has REAPPEARED! You have 48 hours to lynch someone before we reach our next destination, in the past. Deadline is 11 PM ET on the 23rd. Cheers!

Okay first thing first, I only read a bit of the thread most of yesterday, nothing really from tonight. But it was a clusterfuck, to quote a genius from another life.

Second, my power let me leave at any point in the game and go visit my bros over in dead chat. Big shout out to Nutella, Luna, and Zeph for keeping me company.

NOW i'm very unhappy with town for 2 reasons.
1. Lynching Luna big nono
2. Tunneling in on me after I left

Actually 3
3. Making me use my shot a day or two early. WHY WHY DOES IT MATTER? you might ask and I'll tell you.

I wanted to wait until at least midway through day 3 so I'd have 5-6 people to chat with, preferably day 4 so I'd have 7-8. Also day 3 is when the dead chat starts to get to vote and affect the game, so I was curious as to what that would be like. I also couldn't wait until lylo since being vanished wouldn't be good for town number wise.

Why did I mess around? Since I was bored and there are enough high speed people around, plus I was testing reactions and what not.

Not to mention I don't want anyone to have to good a meta read so I had to shake it up a bit. :p

But now I'm here I'll play semi serious.

Also all this would've been avoided if Quin was honest and didn't claim to get a message. I still stand by what I said that we wouldnt be able to trust a message in a closed role madness where the police are hutning us. Fake mess anger is such a mafia power.

Knowing that quin was truthful it means we should lynch INH since he isn't a civ.
