abyssum --
(homesite: Flight Rising) -- Played with them in the recently completed WC1 Champs game; we were both town. Based on my experience with aby, they're incredibly adept at insightful and sometimes unconventional lines of interrogation when town, especially as the game progresses. Definitely cares about thread health. Not afraid to go against consensus. In our game they consistently reassessed and engaged with me in a manner that really displayed a genuine town spark that I think would be very difficult to fake. Very good sense of humor. An absolute pleasure regardless.
ColinIsCool --
(homesite: RateYourMusic) -- This old-time RYMer relatively recently has made a comeback here on TS and he's fucking awesome. My most memorable moment with Colin is him as scum in Easter when I was town. I think in that game he did a very good job of fake scumhunting, but his tone always seemed off to me, and he also seemed a bit hedgey and consensus-y. I don't really have much experience with him otherwise yet but I hope to!
DharmaHelper --
(homesite: Lostpedia/The Piano/SpoilerTV) -- Oh great, this fucking guy. Sarcastic, hates rainbow lists, what's to like about him? He even started playing before me. But seriously, DH is one of my all-time favorite people. He's hilarious and a really great guy. In terms of his play, he can really chug out the WIM when he wants to, especially as town, and I've seen him really clamp down and solve the fuck out of games. I've also seen him roll over town as scum as well, so watch out. Unfortunately he doesn't play that often anymore (which I give him shit for because why not) and I'm not sure how hardcore to expect him to play anymore. I think the way to catch this guy in town v. scum is an agenda. When he's town he will relentlessly pursue someone. When he's scum maybe he's a bit more cautious. I am beyond excited to finally be playing with him again.
Infected_alien8_ --
(homesite: Escape Restart) -- Played with Alien during my qualifier Champs game; we were both town. Played with him again in the recently completed WC1 Champs game; I was town but he was scum. I love this guy. Very pleasant regardless of alignment. Asks A TON of questions. I think... having played with him in recent memory as both alignments, he had a harder time replicating very insightful, relentless interrogations as scum that he was just so good at when town. He definitely tried though. Tone can be faked quite well (he fooled me with it off and on). I think the key to solving him is really engaging him as much as possible on his lines of interrogation and trying to parse out what's really going on there. He's fucking good either way though.
JaggedJimmyJay --
(homesite: RateYourMusic) -- The King of Fuck Mountain. Needs no introduction. Jay is... a fucking machine. He's a robot. Probably the quickest ISO maker I've ever seen too. Relentlessly analytical. Likes to use POE, rainbow lists, and all the other fun techniques that I love as well. Hands down one of the most talented players I've ever had the pleasure of playing with, I think he's taught me a lot over the last few years, and I'd hope he's at least learned something from me. I expect to work with him when he's town. Can cheerlead well, but also can rip through players when he thinks he's onto something. He's fearless. He can be difficult to catch as scum. Look for an agenda. Look for posts that may not be attempts to solve the game, and/or if he even gets slightly complacent or consensusy/agenday... then he's probably scum.
Kylemii --
(homesite: Lostpedia/RevolutionMafia) -- Kyle! He's an old-timer from Lostpedia and related sites, and I didn't have the pleasure of interacting with him too much way back when, so it's been great to interact with him early on here at TS and then again in the past year or so. I think Kyle is one of the players that most oozes genuine tone as town, but what do I know, lol. He's good at like... stream-of-consciousness unconventional lines of interrogation when town that I'm not convinced he can fake when scum. I think he's concerned with thread health, but I'm not sure that's AI. I'd say he definitely gets pretty good in the mid-to-late stage of the game, and before then he can be a bit turbulent as town. I haven't even probably played with him enough, so maybe I don't have as much to say here unfortunately. Either way, Kyle is always pleasant and hilarious.
Lunalee --
(homesite: The Syndicate) -- Luna is without a doubt one of the sweetest people ever; it's a wonder she even likes this game.

I think when she's town she actually has some low-hanging fruit potential, because she comes across as... loose, for lack of a better term. Usually her opinions stand out and it can be tough for me to get inside of her head; I think we just think differently. Personally I always think she looks scummier when she's town and townier when she's scum. Lol.
MacDougall --
(homesite: RateYourMusic) -- One of the most aggressive players I've ever known generally, but his range is immense. I've seen him post a ton, barely any, and everywhere in between, and his tone can exhibit the range as well. When he's town, his early game gut is INSANE. When he's scum, master of manipulation. I always fear going up against him when either alignment, but he's a really really great player to team with if you're both town.
Marmot --
(homesite: The Syndicate) -- The harbinger of chaos! Lol. Just kidding, sort of. Marmot is a really great guy. He's a very intriguing combination of styles -- Jekyll and Hyde almost. On the one hand, he can be super WIFOMy, random, chaotic, pokey, etc. On the other, he can be an analytical dynamite. And anywhere in between. Better at the game than he thinks he is, especially late in the game he can become clutch once he has data to analyze. Good sense of humor as well.
M Plus 7 -- Yours truly, the master of WIM, the Sockian slayer of scum, the relentless chearleader. Yeah. I'm town this game. That's all you need to know. We will win this game.
RobotNerd277 --
(homesite: MIT Mafia) -- Played with Robot during my qualifier Champs game; we were both town. They were really great! I think in that game Robot seemed both analytical but also very willing to consider new avenues of suspicion or reasons to town read players with ease in a way that initially struck me as rather organic. It was like... reassessy and against thread consensus often in a way that I think many other players can't quite capture. I'm not exactly sure how they would play as scum.
Russtifinko --
(homesite: The Syndicate) -- IRL friend of mine from high school! I sadly haven't played online mafia with him in forever, but as such I am sooo excited to be playing with him again here! Just played IRL mafia with him recently though! He is definitely insightful and analytical, but not in the sense that someone like Jay is methodically chugging out ISOs. Instead Russtifinko probably tends to be a lower post-count player, but in no means does it mean he won't bring some high-quality reads if he is town and engaged. Rather he tends to throw in the occasional wall sort of post with some unconventional reads on as many players as possible. I think... man, it's just been so long, but as town v. scum... I would say the main difference in his alignment is his tone combined with voting patterns maybe. Again look for an agenda here too. A very nice guy regardless of alignment, but maybe even nicer as scum!
sprityo --
(homesite: Chocolate Pi) -- I love this guy. I'd say he's unfortunately the most low-hanging fruit potential out of anyone here if he's town, because he has such a unique way of thinking, can be a lower poster depending on how much available time he has, and it can take him a little while to get grounded. But his contributions are definitely solid. Similarly to Luna, maybe apply a 'if they seem scummy they just might be LHF town' perspective here. I expect him to be more loose and reassessy as town, while he's more analytical as scum maybe.
Tsaiah --
(homesite: Flight Rising) -- This is you! (Since I'm making this post at your request.)

I'll still say stuff though so other people can read it! Lol. Funnily enough, despite how well I feel I know Tsaiah, we technically haven't played a full game together; the hydra game and the game on DLP both came at a bad time for both of us, but especially her. She and I have talked a ton about game strategy; she relentlessly spectated both of my qualifier and WC1 Champs games. Our minds work very similarly. I expect to mindmeld with her and be able to genuinely understand where she's coming from as town. A good mix of light-hearted and fluffy, insightful/analytical, and gut-based reader I would say. If she's scum, she might more so struggle to genuinely scumhunt and become too fluffy, so watch out for that.
Turnip Head --
(homesite: Lostpedia/The Piano) -- This guy started at Lostpedia about a year before me, and he was whether he knows or not, actually my first like "mafia idol". I just loved the way this guy plays the game. He's smart, funny, and insightful. He has a really incredible range as well; I'd actually say I've seen this guy play a larger range of playstyles than... maybe anyone I've ever known. Back then when I first started playing mafia he tended to play more analytically and was generally a thread leader of content. Nowadays he plays a lot more loose and gut-based with more shitposting, but still will throw out questions and observations when he feels they're warranted. I think sometimes he plays his cards really close to his chest; I'm tempted to say this is a slight towntell but I really am not sure. If he's town, he's really good at finding other town in his soul that everyone else is scumreading, I feel. Definitely a candidate for best sense of humor among this playerlist, which says a lot. Watch out, aby.
