The Corrupt Remnant have been brilliant. One died by our hand, one by the info of a lie detector. The other two will win if you don't leave me alive long enough to help you.

It's a numbers game. Can't let any team gain too much of a numbers advantage. The board is set up evenly right now.

I don't understand, why can't you kill the other team to let your own team have an advantage? Or are you saying the hosts wouldn't let that happen?

One less night kill to reduce the total numbers every day. Civs much closer to victory. Just annihilating the other team early on leaves us sitting ducks.

Also I only worked out who they are for sure literally today.

I've been trying to wrap my head around this. They could be telling the truth, it is possible for two players to share the same square without having BTSC. But you're saying this happened two days in a row?

My very first mafia game I had civ BTSC with a different person every night and DH was mafia and convinced me he was civ and I hardcore trusted him the whole entire game until the very end when I learned he was bad all along and it really messed me up. Now I am wary of talking to anyone ever. Also I don't "keep saying" I said once that I want some friends, I just want to make sure they're good ones you know?

Also Juliets role sounded pretty good, and it wasn't. She was most def bad. Portalman didn't sound particularly sinister, either. I would be leery of lynching people based on role descriptions.

I gotta say I am not loving people lying about being alone. I have not spoken directly to anyone but the host since Night 2.

Yes exactly this about the role names. And also I am not lying, I can't speak for INH but even though I've been near people, I had no way to know who they were and I didn't want to trust chance, so I've been trying to lay low map-wise to not get killed.

I get it this game has been super crazy. Everything is crazy and keeps getting crazier.

Also in regard to all this stuff mac has been saying it all doesnt sound very good if theres only 4 of us left it doesn't sound like we have very good odds then siiiiggghhhh. And DH was silenced which is interesting since no one else has been silenced all game have they?

This is true, which is why it didn't feel sporting to me to have my win condition change and change and change after that. I'm glad you said what you said about me playing with the hand I was dealt. It's the exact words I've used to just carry on.

If speed flips jagged blade I don't see any reason not to listen to Mac unless he's secretly corrupt remnant or there's some other sort of crazy manipulation going on but like occam's razor you know? Like I've seen too many baddies (usually SK of course) pull the "you need to leave me alive to have a chance" and it turns around and bites civs. I mean, you do still presumably have a night kill which is not a town friendly thing. And I mean shit you've already said you can't win as long as Epi is alive which may or may not be that much longer since he's not necessarily a town-friendly indy.

That said, I'm willing to hear what you have to say tomorrow, and I don't think you're necessarily an auto-lynch or anything. But I have a hard time figuring out how eliminating a NK is a negative thing for town.

speedchuck is a good man. I've just not gotten around to the commentary he gave me over a year ago with my book, and it's helpful stuff. Great guy. I hope to meet him some day.

So you're saying that you don't believe that he knows who the other mafia team is? If he is just trying to survive until Epi dies and he gets his win condition back, why would he out himself and his team and not just continue pretending to be a civ?

I believe he has a better idea of who the other team is than we do, but I don't think he has some iron clad 100% knowledge, no. He outs himself because Epi already outed his team and once speedchuck gets lynched (which already seemed on the way to happening) he's the obvious next suspect. So outing himself and convincing us he isn't a threat is the best play to keep himself in the game. I just don't believe it's as purely altruistic as he would like to pretend.
