Drago I haven’t mind melded with at all. Also seems more aggressive than last game but maybe that’s cause he lost the cute kitty avatar? I thought he was scum early last game so maybe this is a bad read.

I can see both sides of the argument on gth reads. I always end up not being around when they happen so I always miss it. This early I kinda struggle to have any good reads on anyone so it's hard to decide that quickly. At the same time I also get slooneis point that it gets a conversation going and moves things in a direction. From what I've seen slooneis usual goal is to try to post a lot and get people talking in the beginning of the game.

Hey sabie. Let's start with the players you know best: what do you think of Epi, nutella, juliets, and me so far?

Well you are doing what you normally do in making long posts getting people talking asking questions etc which has a lot of times been town sloon. I feel like you and nutella have had a back and forth thing in some games before. She's usually kinda back and forth on things so I find her hard to read. Juliets is always so nice so shes hard to read too. Epi appears to be his usual self at the moment.
You left out some other people I usually play with. jack who I feel like is doing his usual town jack stuff at the moment where he posts a lot of random stuff. That time he was bad he was way more calm and reserved it seemed.
I always tend to think mac and speed are bad which is probably unfair of me.
The newer people I think are just kinda trying to work out how we play on this site.
Still dont feel like I have solid reads for sure about people but I'm trying to keep up with everything. This day 0 has been crazy.

I do not see the basis for that specific accusation.

Mac's characteristic lack of restraint in accusing everyone as scum fits with the perspective of an Indi, since he could be on the mark but can afford collateral damage. SK's aggressively hunting early is somewhat of a tell in normal set ups, and I think that would be moreso the case here.

But in addition the "You're mafia, he's mafia", comes off as a mindset slip. Because he's not mafia.

I once again do not want to dismiss your read off hand, but I feel the need to add context: this is all standard Mac behavior. If I was going to accuse him of anything, it’s that he’s following his usual meta too closely.

I'll keep this in mind but I also put very little stake in someone else's meta knowledge on another player

Because 90% of the time with meta, players are making blanket observations anyway and not catching potential anomalies, and characterizing average play. So if there was a slip it wouldn't make a difference.

Mac is quite capable of accusing two others of being opposite-team mafiosos while being on one of the mafia teams himself. Assuming he's Indy because of that doesn't strike me as a slam-dunk observation; I think it's more likely that he's mafia. Doesn't totally strike me as Civ, but Mac is an aggressive player, so maybe.

If I were Epignosis, I would say, "His role card makes him mafia." But I'm Long Con.

I believe he would say such a thing, as mafia, in order to get the reaction that you had, that he had a "mindset slip". That is the level of craftiness I expect from Mac.

at first glance cult looks pretty harmless early game, in my personal opinion it should be spent on someone like deathstroke, it brings down the average kpn from 2.5 (i assume) down to 1.5

i dont see any posts of ultra that would let me make a read as they are all pregame fluff which happens or strategic thinking which comes from both alignments

i mentioned before how it was really bad how instead of getting to the point lux started with "hmmm" and waited for someone to ask them what was up

I'll drop this for a second because you mentioned earlier other ways to make use of info roles - do you mind expanding, and how do you think we could possibly make use of felicia

"Breadcrumbing" is the popular term here for info-proliferation. Just because people aren't allowed to claim their roles, it doesn't mean they have to ignore the information they receive. If, for instance, a cop gets a guilty ID on a player they hadn't previously suspected, there's nothing preventing them from launching into a full tirade against that player the next day, or dropping subtle hints here and there. Basically the no-claiming rules make it so information is to be used more personally, and puts the onus on the civilians to be active in the thread and function as a group to solve the game, rather than waiting for power roles to come along.

This is part of the reason why I'm in no hurry to read all of the roles in the setup. It's never that bit of a deal to me early on. I know my role and I know how I want to approach the game as a civilian. That's all I need to get started.

I don't care to comment on how to make use of Felicia at this time. I think the player who has that role can be trusted to use it however they see fit. I don't think it's a bad idea to provide suggestions, though.

Dont think I’ve played a game before where a cop got a perk and didn’t immediately go “y’all this is it we gottem” by outing their role.

Or a game where everyone didnt claim peeks so the cop could easily out their information without outing themselves

This is both interesting and annoying since I do think it minimizes info a bit but site differences
