The player who wants to look very Civ will sternly advise us to play the rest of the Day as though Luna were not on the table.TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 12:36 am Okay we’re lynching Luna today. If anyone has a reason not to lynch Luna speak now.
Seeing as the day’s plan is clear, let’s try to not waste the day and pretend Luna has just died and we’re doing night 3 analysis, seeing that the thread is locked during night 3.
If Luna flips scum I think Creature is the obvious target day 4 but I don’t think that’s the right one.

I concede. I thought my queen's knight was already out on the fourth move because I was looking ahead a few moves and forgot the board state. I can see I'm toast.

Re: Girl Genius (Day 3)
Antispew?

Say you're scum Luna. You know Jack is basically the best dancer ever.

Any second, he could put on his wim sunglasses and if it comes down to her and Jack, she's gonna swing like

Like shoot just yesterday I came in and took down Nutella like

Spoiler: show
Now, saying she doesn't "see" why Jack is bad when I am clearly acting pretty different than normal. If she gets lynched, I get no cred. I was kinda waffling on her yesterday. Maybe I waffle on her today and the tide turns to Drago or Creature, who are much easier to mislynch if they aren't teamed with her. If at least one of them is teamed with her, maybe she's boned and doesn't care.
So I can see this all as a mafia reaction.
Is it a town reaction? I lean towards no. Like maybe town Luna really doesn't see why I'm suspicious. But she knows she needs to do something and she's not really doing something. She wants Long Con to do something for her. She doesn't even civ read me, she just doesn't see why I should be lynched. I feel like civ Luna would try to make something happen, try to let her tone shine through or something. Is this a dumb line of thought? I don't think it's a dumb line of thought.

You also are making me work.
1) That she confused Creature for Rej
2) That she voted at the last minute despite it being an inopportune time
3) That she innocently voted for a civilian when the person she said she said she suspected was up for lynch
4) That she felt the need to vote at all despite being uninformed (as she claimed).
That's a lot to buy.
This quote is Epi's boiled down version of why he found you to be bad. I need to understand points 2 and 4 a little better.
You are at a wedding and it is about to begin. You do not feel well informed on the game. Why would you go to the trouble of getting on your phone, at a wedding, and place a vote in those circumstances, especially such a critical vote? Why not forego the vote and let everyone know afterwords time got away from you and you were not in a circumstance where you could place a vote, plus you were not comfortable the you had your facts straight? Can you see why that looks odd?

Mafia is more important than weddings. If Luna hadn't cast her vote, she'd have been lynched. So you're basically making the argument that Luna should die or Luna should die.
Which is fine if that's because you scumread her so much but it's getting the cart before the horse or whatever the appropriate metaphor is.
I'm saying this looks like distancing.

Re: Girl Genius (Day 3)
This is a really good post. Either Luna is a dedicated Civ, or playing with fire as a baddie.
However, I am really sure that Epi made the big case on Luna because he red-peeked her, and that's how you do it in a no-infodropping game. The fact that his points against her were, to me, varying levels of weak, only strengthens that belief.
So now we are seeing Luna defend Jack. Perhaps we are meant, post-baddie-Luna-lynch, to conclude that Jack is bad. Maybe that's her play here.

So Jackofhearts2005 you are wrong about Luna almost being lynched thus my criticism being unfair.
Lunalee I must have missed where you said that, thank you.
Now though the issue is did Epi red peak you. I know you can't offer anything in your defense on that concern. I'll look back at Epi's timing on his posts about you.
linki, hmm good point Luna

You're just looking at the wrong day. Luna's vote at the wedding happened Day 1 so thats the vote total you want to take a look at.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 3:03 pmMaybe I'm not. It changes absolutely nothing. He was never wavering on his own side of things, but rather couldn't keep an act of 100% confidence and not appearing to have an open mind to a certain extant without risking breaking the rules. He always ended back to you, and everything he did or suggested was related to you and a potential red-check like the compatibility with Creature.Lunalee wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 2:11 pmYa, ok, I can see how that makes me look bad, but this doesn't sound like the words of a cop who got a peek at a baddie the previous night:Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 12:38 pm I didn't even notice Epi was the cop. I said I would do things today. I am a liar. But it seems we have a probable cop-confirmed suspect on our hands, so if there’s any day for me to be an absolute fart, it’s today.

Re: Girl Genius (Day 3)
I went back and looked at Epi's posts at the beginning of Day 2. His first posts of the day were 3 in a row - the first two were dismissing comments that had been made about him that were negative. The third post was that he was voting Lunalee. These posts were within @3 minutes of one another. So, the facts Imo support that he red peaked Luna night 1. Voting for her now.

Re: Girl Genius (Day 3)
i think it's more of a "i'll just pretend like i'm not about to get burned at the stake" kind of thingLong Con wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2019 12:33 pmThis is a really good post.
Maybe that's her play here.
it's not particularly believable
