I’ve got nothing specific. I feel very sure on Juliets but in the presence of lots of town reads I’ll succumb to the majority. Sabie is playing similarly to how she did in Fallout as far as I can tell, it’s a little floaty. Not a lot of fighting to grasp onto, big paragraphs and inherently defensive.
Turnip was a shrug read. Went to put it in Ehh, changed my mind.

Ok I just read through @sprityo and almost all of it seems like fluff. He voted Jack on Day 1 making a point of saying it was just gut, but then also voted Jack on Day 2. Sprityo, are you still voting on just gut? I know you just got home and there is family to see and such so I don't want to push too hard but what's going on? You are capable of really great play as Jay pointed out but I can't say I see anything towny in your posts, and the vote for Jack on Day 2 is uninspiring or worse without a reason. Hope you are able to talk some more about this today.

Phone posting is gonna be a chore until I get wifi in my barracks room, but:

I think Colin is mislynch bait. I haven’t liked Nanook’s reasoning towards it either. I feel compelled to reflect this in a red green list

I took a glance at my own wagon. It fluctuated and built up to the final total of 6 more gradually, but there was one moment where there was a relative barrage of votes, which means that's where the scum will try to hide to blend in.

Sloonei had voted me long earlier, but Dizzy reignited the wagon with a vote. Almost immediately and without explanation Turnip Head jumps on. Not too long later Michelle, Ted, and Jay also vote for me, all with little to no justification. At that point I remain a popular talking point but a couple (Dizzy, TH) switch off and others later join.


So there are four clear wagon votes:

Turnip Head – shaded me earlier with a simple ‘scummy tbqh’ to one of my posts, but did not vote me until after Dizzy did and my wagon suddenly became a viable one. My initial reaction is that he wasn't brave enough to push me as a candidate himself, but felt better seeing others vote me first. Not a good look. (Would later switch to Nutella of course.)

Michelle – because I didn’t give her the villager feeling I had in Inception; Michelle had not discussed me before this that I noticed, so I don't know where this vote progressed from

Ted – kept posting about other things before and after voting me, like he didn’t care; inclined to see this as a villagery attitude

Jay – voted, then left for hours without saying why; later returned to explain with, uh, pretty bad evidence, IMO (e.g. my ‘4th voter’ thing, which was obviously not serious).


My other voters (Sloonei, Dizzy, SVS) were consistent in their reads on me, and did not feel opportunistic. I also strongly TR Dizzy and am neutral+ on the other two.

I'll give Ted a glance, but his lack of justification despite remaining active in thread is not a look of someone hiding something. The other three are more problematic and I'll look there first.

To elucidate the difference, I recall Colin being like a dog with a bone in the game I saw him as town (I think the wire, not 100% sure), whereas this game he’s a bit more drifty. I don’t recall him being much more active than in this game. That seems like enough of a difference to me to run with

So NANOOK, prior I didn’t see any other mention of colin or a suspicion until this post. This was after you had said colin was a baddie.

And there is truly no other player you have a better or any reason to suspect at the moment? Given your post amount, I’m positive you can do better.

This seems to be the epicenter of the Jacktella quake. I am brought to wonder:

How do we (we who know nutella) anticipate her to respond to a post like this, where is she is told she is playing to her norms in both alignments? This is an accusation from Jack after all, even if "softened" by the town half of the presentation. I'm not surprised nutella called it garbage, or that she wondered aloud if a mafioso Jack would be so obvious as to openly hedge in this manner.

Is that where it started? Did he push any harder?

Because I'd be surprised to see nutella offended by this cushy push. More like 'meh' and 'jack do you even have an opinion'

I find this assertion hard to believe: nutella is a firecracker is responds severely to accusations of all sorts all the time. This contributes in some vague manner to the negative nutella climate, and I'm not on board.

I think the Jack/Nutella thing was interesting, primarily because of reactions to it. Tedxtr's reaction was notable, like he was incredibly pro-nutella and focused on nutella. Dunno if that's changed.

Upon further reflection of ISOs both of these wagons are shiiiiiiiiiiiny turds.

Nutella I can see why people suspect her. The interactions starting when Mac wagoned on look pretty bad. But lynching nutella D1 after she gets defensive over some tunneling is wonky.

I have no idea why anyone would vote Master Radishes.

chuck sharted on both the Radish and nutella wagons before engaging himself in the concurrent dialogues. At face value, I think this post looks fake. He answered this accusation already. I'm not moved.

Of those names, I’m not sure one in particular stands out. I think Sig’s vote was the most egregious, but his macro play of all those names has been the greenest. At the moment I’m not entirely sure where I’d place a vote (and obviously can’t anyway), but GTH I’d say Sabie. Also not a fan of Mac’s play on this – inconsistent and never landed on the wagon or, conversely, showed progression away from it. Just blew on the sparks a bit.

I dunno, I was suspicious of Sig for a reason I think. Let me look back.

Ah, yes, it was his crappity crap reasons for still wanting to lynch nutella after Jack recanted. He overcompenisated for his position by throwing a bunch of bad reasons in with the good.

Epi plays a very honorable game as scum. It makes it easy to figure it out in the endgame if he hasn’t already tricked everyone.

Quiet during the early game. He called one of my posts ‘scummy’ but did not expand. It was only a day later, after a couple others had voted me, that he finally did as well. As mentioned previously, this can easily be interpreted as not being willing to commit until it was ‘safe’ to do so because others were already voting me. He later switched to Nutella, simply stating why not. He takes the time to implicate Dom as Nutella’s teammate but admits it could be refuted. (He did then say in the next post it was Dom’s bussing her ‘to an extent’, which is an odd qualifying statement.)

The rest of his posts are basically high quality analysis such as ‘G-Man good’ and ‘Colin bad probably’ and ‘[Sabie] town tho’. These sort of posts come across to me as someone trying to look like he doesn’t care. Key word there is ‘trying’.

The post that caught my eye today was this one, where he accuses Michelle of ‘possible teammate distancing?’ of me and Colin. That post pings me. It feels forced, and I doubt get the townie motivation; I do, however, get a scum motivation to plant seeds of doubt.

TH’s reads are stale across the rounds, too. I’ve been bad since the first moment, for example, whereas Jack and Sabie have been town throughout. (Not quoting the little posts where he mentions a handful of reads like ‘Jack town’.) The only read I can spot that has changed is Dom, who he has recently called town. Otherwise there’s no evolution.


As ever, my lack of meta knowledge could factor in here – is TH playing his normal town game? Because what I see is someone trying to affect the ‘quiet but paying attention’ card and refusing to give much away to avoid getting involved in discussions.

Definite scum lean.

SOOOOOO I’m restricted to one post today, thanks the mafia. This one post probably won’t be to long I was thinking of doing an analysis, some more ISOs but I think the bigger my post the less people will read. This didn't end up happening oops

So I’ll be posting and commenting on what’s currently happening a bit, my lynch list, a modified rainbow list, and a few other things. Since I only have one post this is gonna be a bit big, but plan to not make it to big. Read it all you'll be quizzed later and banished to eternal damnation if you don't get an 84 or above on said quiz.

I'm also gonna be giving nice little giant headers then putting each section in Spoilers so it isn't quite as big a Wall post. This was about 6.5 pages on word so lol have fun.

Firstly, I’m probably gonna get killed N2. Satima targeted me, which means tomorrow his team has the kill. NOW why target Sig? I’m not a universal civ read and a classic mislynch. There’s only 2 reasons no 3 why.
1 I’m amazing and they don’t wanna listen to me solve this shit.
2 My ISOs that I did were spot on and they wanna keep me from talking today and pushing so that means y’all should be eyeing G-Man, Mac, Sprityo, and Michelle.
3. This plays into the other but more so. MAC MAC MAC MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAC!
Mac has said a few times in past games and has killed me twice as mafia early on because I mainly tone read and can catch on to him. I’ve poked him a bit this game and now suddenly BOOM no talking for Sig. Not only do I think mac is mafia, but I think he’s Satima and targeted me so I couldn’t push the lynch and get him out. Now I don’t have any info on this, but I’m like 99.9% sure. Even more sure then my Nanook read which was basically almost kinda not really right.

Instead of breaking it down in a Rainbow I’m gonna just say who I don’t want to see lynch, who’d I’d be fine/maybe want to lynch, and who I want to lynch in order from most to least civvie in Don’t lynch and most to least wanting to lynch in Maybe,

Ted: I liked his entrance and generally what he’s doing think he’s scum hunting for sure and believes his read. Now this is multi ball so meh, but not a lynch for today.

Jack: Rereread Jack, he’s not as civvie as some people see him to be. But, not a lynch target today based off yesterday and all.

Out of all these players the hardest ones I have times reading are SVS, Jay, and Juliet. SVS has done enough to push her to the top of my No Lynch list, but just wanna note that.

Think I laid this out a bit, but again he’s the most likely to be mafia in my mind. Mainly based off three things.
1. Posting level/type of posts: He isn’t around much which is newer for him, but when he was here he was just like hiding behind Jack on Nutella. Not doing much else besides messing around and Poking Dom. Which he never explained.
2. Tone and Gut: He’s just not reading good Mac to me, I can usually tell. This game though he’s not seeming very civvie which is reason enough to axe him.
3. I think he’s the most likely to have targeted me to only have one post based off the players I’ve called out and their playstyle.

Now for in-game posts.

He asks for hot takes, says Nutella is civ and jack is bad then turns around and Tunnels on Nutella using Jack as a reason. Like he’s pushing this Nutella thing and if/when Nutella flipped not mafia who looks the worst? Jack not Mac, that’s very much within Mac’s scum meta.
I think his read of Jay/Radish being teammates is also a distancing attempt with Radish. So if Radish does flip or vice verse the other one has to go.
I’d encourage everyone to ISO Mac, he doesn’t have many posts, but the posts he does have contribute very little, he’s blending and not giving any real solid reads. Besides the fact he went after Nutella hard, after Jack started and dropped it just as quickly. I think he’s being very opportunistic this game and just trying to copy his civ meta.

Out of this game:
Already touched on this, but out of every game I’ve played where I’ve been targeted by mafia early on it’s been pushed by Mac, since I mainly do tone reads. I was doing a combination of that and ISO last night, throwing out reads, and suddenly I’m muzzled. IF I wasn’t on the right track with one of my reads I highly doubt this would’ve happened. Now there’s the possibilities of other Night Actions messing with it sure, but I don’t think that happened.

FINAL THOUGHTS/GENERAL THOUGHTS

Speaking of which [mention]NANOOKTHEGREATANDFEARSOME[/mention] heeeeey buddy . You mafia this time? I’ve still been right about you like 75% of the time so in theory there’s more of chance you are. :P

Realistically though, Nanook is probably an indy role. I doubt given the power make up there was a hidden mafia role lurking around.
So right now votes are split and I can move vote around just not talk so if people wanna know general view maybe look at that, but I won’t be following thread that much this day phase. Having said that I see Radish is leading, I’m personally fine with that after I read him over he seems blendy/pinged me.

I’d prefer pressure/lynching of MAC first, then looking into players I named above and my mafia reads in thread. BUT, really like as soon as I got hit with this power it clicked that Mac was bad.

Again look over who I called out and go with them, don’t doubt I’ll be a Night kill target tomorrow.
Look at Dizzy he was the first person to @ me. I’m not saying he did it since he knows I can only post once, but people are always so tempted to do stuff like that when they silence people and prior to that his tone was very meh.

Gman looks like he’s been bamboozled this phase, so we shouldn’t lynch him that would be a bit mean. I’d leave the people who just checked in alone also let them catch up and make some read lists, unless they start acting really scummy of course.

Radish is leading atm and was almost lynched yesterday, I did a skim and I gave my thoughts earlier, but he falls into my maybe should lynch, but not a priority list. I’d much rather we take out one of my Top 3. Now though I’d say there’s about a 58.2% chance Radish is mafia. I probably won’t vote there for the time being, since I’d prefer a few other people, but I do think we could get a lot of good info from a Radish lynch.


Besides that you won’t see much from me, I think I’ve laid out a good general base for people to look at and take into account and I hope y’all follow up on what I’ve said. We’ve got the momentum right now, no deaths Night 1 and a potentially anti-civ indy gone D1.

Considering the number of times you've told me over the years that something I've posted is the [weakest ______ you've ever seen from me], I must have a talent for lowering the bar.

I suspect speedchuck, and those are reasons why I suspect speedchuck. The end. Regarding the last thing: I don't give a damn about "open-minded". That's an accusation. He made one move that I thought could bear the potential to be productive, and he neutered that move himself. I don't like that.

However, I do want to point out that nanook is not a “secret role”. We simply started this game with an empty player slot (25 roles but only 24 players). The hosts were hoping to fill that slot with one of the “maybes” in the original signup poll but apparently didn’t have any luck.

Michelle spends awhile dwelling on ice cream. When she returns, she (I’m not quoting all these) clears Jack for not shading her for being absent, calls JJJ a villager for pressuring so many people, calls Sig a villager for the way he explains his thoughts, calls Sloonei good for the logic in his posts. Says Nanook and I giving her odd vibes. Says one of SVS’ posts comes from a civ mindset. Shades Nutella for wanting a Dizzy vs Sloonei fight. Says she’s not impressed with me like she was in Inception.

So basically a lot of reads being given, all with brief reasoning. Thus, when she finally votes me, there’s a sense of progression, even if it is vote #4(!).

She does defend Nutella later for having strong emotions, which she calls villagery. Declares she would not lynch Nutella. That’s…quite strong. Hard to interpret in a multiball, as normally I’d accuse Michelle of trying to gain future town cred, but scum!Michelle would surely be okay with a Nutella lynch.

Responds to sig’s accusations with a bit about short play time, ending with ‘if this makes me scum, you can do what you like’. That’s a sort of wording I usually see from scum.

In N1/D2, she starts a case on Colin and gets a bit touchy with TH and goes on to vote him. I’m also not immune, but that’s standard by this point.


So overall, a couple points that make me go ‘hmm’. But overall I find it more likely that I’m seeing a townie puzzle things out. Her vote one me is less wagony than it appears at first glance, and she’s clearly come to similar conclusions about TH as me.

Actually, the fact I'm surprised Jay has so many posts is concerning, considering I don't remember him leading us anywhere, only hopping on the Radishes wagon after everyone else already did.

I'll restate a concrete gripe: after engaging in a good amount of direct conversation with Sloonei on Day 1, you provided a read on him:

Basically gonna cop out and say: I think I need meta and/or just to wait for later rounds to read him properly. Over half his posts are questions to other players, most of which aren't then followed up. (Already discussed above - not a fan of it.)

But then there are moments where he's clearly not afraid to prod others, e.g. with ted early on ('like he was trying to shove me away'), or sig shortly after that (what 'antsy' means). He's equally not interested in letting bad lines of inquiry play out (Nanook's 'satire' post; Radishes' use of 'baddie') which he suggests shutting down in both cited cases. He also banters when he sees an opportunity ('Mac's big D' etc) which shows he's loose, even as the game began to turn more serious.

But, as ever, caveats and all that. This isn't un-fakeable by any means.

So Sloonei remains pretty null for me until I see more. I'm not TRing him, but at the moment not inclined to vote here.

This all looks like filler. I see various reasons why you might view Sloonei as a civilian and no reasons why you might view him as a mafioso save for the vague "caveat" and "un-fakeable" stuff. It's meaningless. You talk with him often, you ISO him, you say all this about him, and the payoff is "null".

This isn't my only concern with you, but it's a good summary of why I suspect you. This kind of thing is apparent throughout your content.
