Being frustrated is understandable. I find it odd though that the frustration is centered upon me -- the guy he wants to lynch. Why should that be deflating? If LC is innocent and thinks I am a No-Uing sunuvagun, then deflation isn't the response I'd anticipate -- more like louder versions of "you're bad".

I think that's true of a lot of players, but maybe not LC. I believe I've seen him react this way to suspicion as town, especially early in games.

Grant Balfour had been having trouble with the strike zone all inning. Or, in his head, the umpire was having trouble with it. He'd already walked the leadoff man on what felt like a good pitch. Now he was down 2-1 in the count, and his latest pitch had been perfectly located on the black.

"Crikey!" he muttered to himself, wondering aloud where the pitch might have been. But his musings were overheard by the homeplate ump, who did not take kindly to criticism. Without a moment's hesitation, Grant was ejected. In stunned disbelief, he pleaded his case, but he knew there was no use. When eventually he retreated to the dugout, the ump stood staring long in his direction, as if daring anyone else to raise their voice. No one was willing to test him. Not yet, at least.

MacDougall has been ejected. He was Grant Balfour, a vanilla civilian.

But you woudn't be faking the reassessment, would you? If you were bad and you knew she wasn't? It woud be easier to change your mind that to push the fake suspicion initially. I think you are downplaying your skills in this post as well.
