2nd page - okay I was actually wrong on a lot of stuff. I thought that the first few pages would be really annoying to me, but they are in fact not. Maybe this is just my emotions/mood. I was either in a bad mood when I read them for the first time, or I am in a good mood now. Because I'm actually vibing with the humor now

Post 72 (reminder to self to check if I can link it) was the nutella post I mentioned earlier where I claimed that "she is taking moth's shenanigans way too seriously so she must be scum". In retrospect that's silly of me, idk why I said that. It no longer looks so, to me.

My reasoning for scum reading Marcher isn't because he said it as much as he moved the goalposts when I prodded his thought process.

Of course the action in and of itself isn't a dead giveaway, although I still believe reads like that are prompted to come from wolves a high percentage of the time anyway.

What you have described as an inconsistent progression, or whatever, from jovian, does not strike me as that at all. I think what you are observing is a player developing a read on another player. Like, the movement from "I like his talk" to "it's the tone" isn't really an inconsistency at all as I see it (and if it is, that's not something to be suspicious about), but is just a player working out their own read on a player. Sometimes our language is imperfect, and we say things one way and then come up with a better way of phrasing it. Their initial point was "If moth was scum they would be saying some of these things in wolf chat." That then turns into "Moth's [nervous] energy would be confined to scum chat." I don't care about the word nervous and I'm not interested in playing semantics with it. I can identify what Jovian is referring to even if "nervous" isn't the word I'd use. Again, I see what you are talking about and read it completely different from the way you are reading it.

I remain more interested in hearing what you have to say about anything else in the game.

The read is good, moth is an active player, there's motivation to ride the moth town train, get out of his tunnel. The read is contrived and is based on a weak baseline for moth's scum game and there's no actual, true assessment of moth's posts. I dare you to go in his iso and point one thing that looks like whatever Marcher described.

counterpoint: i just skimmed when this was in day 0 but moth seemed to have a lot of fluffy posts from what i recall? marcher was saying, if moth had btsc, then those type of memey posts would be in wolfchat.

i'm not making a judgement on marcher's alignment, but i want you to understand from an unbiased person's point of view. i know why you found it scummy, but i can also see why marcher said it. does that makes sense?

My reasoning for scum reading Marcher isn't because he said it as much as he moved the goalposts when I prodded his thought process.

Of course the action in and of itself isn't a dead giveaway, although I still believe reads like that are prompted to come from wolves a high percentage of the time anyway.
