What kind of doctor ever acts like that at eod. They're a doctor, they have a strong pr. They shouldn't be afraid of getting banished. What was up with that whole "you'll be weirded out when my role flips" act. TH was a doctor, they were highly wagoned, if they claim and live they basically force the mafia to nk them.

i ISO'd him and noted that he asked lissa for reads like 20 times and then didn't come to a conclusion. presumably as disappointing for him as it was for anyone. also the outburst at mac caught my eye.

i don't know what to make of the macho posing and how ironical it is intended to be.

This may just be endemic of what has been a general trend surrounding outed wolf all game. I feel like this right here has been the sum total of all posts concerning outed wolf all game. Nobody has a read. Everybody says "Huh, yeah, that sure is something" and then moves on. cayvie did exactly that after I'd already been confused about this trend at the end of Day 2. I don't know what it means. It could be that outed wolf is a vulnerable civilian and we have concealed wolves trying to softly stoke the flames on his case until a bozo like me comes along to make it a full blown case. It could be that outed wolf is an exposed wolf but his teammates are hesitant to let the suspicion against him snowball into a bandwagon. It could just be that we have a ton of people who don't have a clear idea what to do with a particular player slot.
But as it relates to cayvie, these posts felt very status quo when I first saw them, and that's not my favorite thing.

Does this mean anything to those who are confident that Marcher is bad? Would they willfully take on the complete reduction in statz by removing both members of their triumvirate within a 24 hour span? There is certainly room to read the ted kill as a gambit to produce exactly this question. What do we think?

Who are the scribes and what's going on?

On Night 1, Long Con opened a portal to the Upside Down, and DrWilgy was sadly swallowed by the resulting black hole. He was replaced with an alternate universe's DrWilgy, but we all knew he was from an alternate universe since we saw the original DrWilgy disappear. DrWilgy2 went kinda crazy due to the trauma, and Long Con mercifully wiped his memory. Unbeknownst to the rest of us however, Long Con injected the newly wiped DrWilgy2 with fake memories, causing him to become the perfect wolf-hunting killing machine, only he doesn't remember any of that.

And this spikes both my dread and spawns an identity issue.

I do not have a clear take and my read on Marcher is my most fluid position in the game right now. But I can share my thoughts.

I think if the mafia team was going to fully eliminate the triumvirate of one of their own partners, they would need to weigh the risk of the potential loss, as well as what it could mean for that player and their team as a whole moving forward. I think if we look at Marcher's position in this game on Night 2 specifically, it is not difficult to imagine a scenario where their team either A) did not care about the loss of stats or B) thought that the elimination of Marcher's last remaining triumvirate neighbor could be a gambit that might sway some of the folks who were on the fence about them off the fence in a favorable direction. That is, by killing Ted and leaving Marcher alone in a triumvirate, they are banking on somebody making this exact observation. Marcher is clearly already at risk of being banished, so there is not much to lose, and the potential loss of stats is minimal if they're likely to be gone in a phase or two anyway (specifically, a nightkill only reduces a player's Glory).

Alternatively, Marcher is not on the mafia team. In this case they need not give any consideration to this triumvirate configuration. OR they do give some consideration to it: If Marcher is a civilian/third party, then they are banking on them being a viable wagon for at least the coming day phase. Does killing ted, the player who has been most vocally opposed to Marcher AND who also happens to share a triumvirate with them, accomplish the goal of preserving Marcher's misdefenestratability? That is quite convoluted.

This leads me to another question woven into all of this: Do we think it's a coincidence that the nightkilled player belonged to the same triumvirate as the banished player?

Of course this all falls under the umbrella of WIFOM. That does not deter me from asking these questions, and I don't think it should deter others either. All of this factors into my read on Marcher. This read is still very active, it is still in development, and these are concerns that I have when I try to decide what to do with this player. I need to consider them for my own sake. I invite others to weigh in as well, because it might help me as well as everybody else.

I view them as pretty different situations that aren't really comparable imo.

Tutuu was the n1 kill. The mafia could have killed like basically anyone. I don't think they choose someone who shares a triumvirate with any of their members on night 1.

Ted was a member of a triumvirate that had already lost a member. If Jovian is a wolf, they had already lost glory or w/e and so removing ted was of minimal impact.


If tutuu and radish had been in the same triumvirate, it would be a different story. But I think occam's razor is that nanook and dunya are more likely innocent of that kill, and this does not at all apply the same way to jovian.
