Re: Pyre Mafia [Day 3]
feels like there's a meta against defending yourself here, maybe that's what seems off about this game to me. like MJ produced a pretty spirited defense, but both tony and outed wolf are like *shrug*. wilgy dropped some AtE that was interesting at least iirc.
Re: Pyre Mafia [Day 3]
i think i've seen the idea that marcher is being set up as a misyeet by the wolves (if not maybe I'm misremembering since I just read hundreds of posts of you all going in circles
)
i dont feel like wolves have voted or pushed for a marcher banish ... at all? This applies to wilgy too, the d2 wagon* seems pretty clean and no one is pushing him at all today, even though he's now been a counter wagon to two misyeets.
where do people think the wolves are voting today?

Personally the lissa and outed wolf wagons look the sketchiest to me. And I don't even think outed wolf is particularly villagy.
Wolves nightkilled one of the strongest voices pushing marcher and wilgy. Wolves don't seem particularly interesting in yeeting marcher or wilgy. They're also just wolfy, independent of any wagon or kill anyalsis. I think you guys are making this more complicated than it needs to be. Kill the wolfy people that the wolves don't want us to kill.

surprised at carot not getting basically any heat d2/d3
they were a large wagon (or perhaps a counter wagon?) in response to radishes wagon but nobody really seems to be pushing in that direction

Re: Pyre Mafia [Day 3]
at this point in time im leaning towards clearing bronana for his post about marcher jovian telling people to play better
maybe its a bad read but not sure zack tells people to play better when hes a wolf trying to get a villager lynched (if MJ is third party throw this read out the window), just seems unnecessary in a game the wolves are already doing well in

Re: Pyre Mafia [Day 3]
i'm going to keep ignoring sloonei's posts for the most part
he seems tunneled in and has for a while, and his arguments are kinda funny. i don't really feel any desire to sort his alignment at the moment, his arguments are pretty bunk but its whatever. seems like it would be fruitless to respond and get bogged down in an argument he doesn't really seem willing to get out of. (also sometimes i don't feel like doing what people want me to, i don't want to spend all of my time on ww so you'll get what you do when you get it and you can make your judgement calls based on that)

Re: Pyre Mafia [Day 3]
i do however, agree with him that cayvies posts are pretty lacklustre. this is probably an unfortunate side effect of them having to sub into the game and make do and would happen regardless of alignment. it is what is is though and i don't feel particularly enthusiastic about their posts.

Re: Pyre Mafia [Day 3]
i still think lissa feels wolfy.
her early game was very tonally stiff in a way she normally is as a wolf.
i find lissa much easier to read on mu than here apparently because i dont feel like committing to this read
she feels tonally wolfy but also a few of her posts don't feel like wolf lissa posts. its a tough read lol.
perhaps her game is different from a boosted level of confidence from the recent team game
who knows. as said earlier, i normally find lissa a much easier read but i guess offsite is my kryptonite here

Re: Pyre Mafia [Day 3]
you originally were somewhat bothered by their posting but then felt like you kinda detached from your own thoughts on their posting, and a lot of your thoughts on them started to feel really disconnected from each other
------------------
but thats not inherently wolfy
its entirely possible to have different threads of thoughts going about the same player that don't always add up to a pretty picture
the real answer is what exactly is my agenda surrounding MJ, because it is very simple: I disliked their posting, i then encountered/realised possible reasons why i was wrong, i haven't been able to make up my mind about them so i just push them to the side. i haven't interacted seriously with MJ for days, i don't really know how to solve that slot and am simply trusting Zack's wolf read on them
i'm not trying to save or condemn MJ with my posting, i'm just being hands off

i think both tutuu and tedxtr were mostly killed for being widely village read, not sure i'm going to read into the trium stuff but its there if you want
along these lines, probably bronana or nutella if shes a v with her power i guess would be next in line for a nightkill
i don't think too many others are generally considered villagery?

Re: Pyre Mafia [Day 3]
TSP has been, frankly, underwhelming.
i know this is a push ive done before but go and read his iso and then read any game he's played on mu.
even the hydra game i played with him years ago he was better than this. lots of short sharp sentences, and (in his words) level 0 takes.
i was impressed with his tone and his general level of analysis in the recent champs game and there is just none of that here. no nice tone, no analysis to speak of at all. maybe he's burnt out as whoever said earlier, but it isn't a good look.
on top of this is a more general take on the game - lot of people (myself chief among them) are mostly skating around replying to stuff without solving because they probably don't feel like solving for whatever reason and it is really harming the threads ability to solve. too many people want others to solve. we kinda need to step up

Re: Pyre Mafia [Day 3]
macdougall has 300 posts of all one liners. reminds me of a champ wolf game (zack, lissa).
i was impressed with his villageriness on d2 of the anzac game, but perhaps he had a lot more enthusiasm for that game.
i would really appreciate some mac experts talking to me about this and explaining what this means for him metawise (i don't want to dig!). the man has done less solving than me!

i townread moth earlier in teh game but he has reaslly dropped off hard here and i'm not sure why. plenty of back and forth if he wanted it
his guilty on TSP is prob fake but its such a lame fake i dont know what he was expecting.
idk, throwing up my hands on this one. probably no reason for him to be so tilted as a wolf given position, maybe bad read but prob still a v read

im not sure how much more im going to get out of these isos
my heart really isnt in it, lol.
im just going to vote marcher jovian and be done with it
lots of people in this game whose playstyle i probably need a few games to adjust to playing with which is unfortunate

i will say if sloonei is a wolf i have enjoyed watching the way he has crafted the narrative against me
very clever, its nice to watch the little steps fall into place and the ramping up when necessary

eh? what do you expect me to say?
i want to know why i earned more sols d1 and n1, than d2 and n2. at first i had a eureka moment where i thought it was because of where my vote landed eod, but my vote was on a flipped townie...so that doesn't make sense. and then i thought hmmmm does that mean my d2 vote was on a wolf and thats why i earn less sols?

he does what he wants on a whim and give very little context and some people townread him for it. i aspire to be the level of idgaf.
in retrospect, i think tony's very laid back reaction to moth having a guilty check on him is a good luck for tony tbh.

Re: Pyre Mafia [Day 3]
iirc tony and moth played together in champs, makes sense.
i was one of those townreading him because d0/1 was very unlike his champs game, but as OW pointed out, this is such a drastic falloff in quantity & quality between d2 and d3 it is wild. i was pretty excited to join a game with moth and it feels like as soon as i do he's not even here

outed wolf just seems so sincere to me.i read sloonei's case on the marcher progression thing and don't understand why it is a bad one. this is what i call twtbw? his waffle stance and his confidence that his progression was not weird (instead of admitting hmmm yeah i've gone a bit back and forth) just makes me feel OW is town and doesn't feel like his actions are anything but town.

nanook is his town meta, i guess playing a game with them recently and spectating a few more of his, makes me feel more confident in this read. also his willingness to be masons with me and soft clear us both for TUTUU's death, just getting good vibes. happy with that iso read.
