i find your w/w theory on them very unbelievable tbh

i struggle to see how or why my “awkward” interactions with one player who you dont even think im teamed with should cancel out everything else townish about meAlison wrote: ↑Wed Jul 08, 2020 3:34 ammy list is this with the following changes:JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Tue Jul 07, 2020 8:14 pm Binary process of elimination style. - Hally to null. I still can't get over how weird the early interactions with FG were and I'm generally don't want to let go of things that genuinely bother me, which this does. I no longer think she's W/W with FG because of later interactions but the awkwardness doesn't sit right with me and that cancels out the other townie stuff she's done.
- Wisp to null. In a vacuum their play doesn't make sense. I'm told this is their town meta. Taking advantage of a town meta to push bad ideas? Maybe. Or could be just townie playing the way they usually do. I'm conflicted so I'm putting Wisp into the null pool.
you actually did not make a typo. epi changed the word himself because hes a troll
what if i told you id absolutely also say that sort of thing as a wolf?ColinIsCool wrote: ↑Wed Jul 08, 2020 9:58 amSince I am town, I am giving +1 town credit to everyone who said they didn’t get a vote for me at this juncture — mafia would know I’m not on their team and should be happy to see a completely wasted lynch of a non-poster
a few questions:ColinIsCool wrote: ↑Wed Jul 08, 2020 10:19 am Town reads:
Alison - maybe my top townread, feels like the most solviest mindset and I find myself nodding a lot in agreement
JJJ - seems like a duh at this moment
Long Con - his conflict with JJJ feels towny to me, like he legitimately feels singled out or just doesn’t get the shade.
KitsuShel: angle shooty reasons
People who feel within a town meta for me include Tony, sabie, Wilgy, Epi, and NANOOK but I feel less confident about these minus the ones I mentioned earlier (sabie, NANOOK).
I found myself agreeing the most with the early funnygurl suspicions and that’s seemed to have died off a bit but it seems like the best way to go.

In the POE, no compelling reason to keep him alive AFAIK
Yes, I do very much want him dead. If I detect a hint of a whiff that enough others feel that way, count me in. Otherwise, I am realistic enough to understand that he's not going to be today's lynch.
Yeah that's not happening lmao.
This is not “I think Jay is mafia.”

30 pages to catch up on and I'm the easiest person to vote out for no particular reason so it's just gonna happen.
On the bright side, a couple of civ misyeets in a row and the meta of lynch Wilgy day 1 may slow down. We take those trades.
On another note, this isn't pertaining to the player as a whole, but their vote on me is even lazier than I am. Keep that in mind after I'm gone.
It won't be by the days end. I just haven't decided where it should be.Hally wrote: ↑Wed Jul 08, 2020 1:29 pmalright, but neither is kits and your vote is there

Wisp’s posts this game have been grating and could’ve accomplished any questions/information they wanted to acquire in a different manner.

I like the cut of Alison’s jib, I like their attitude toward the game. It’s not a townlock or anything cause it’s Day 1 and it’s all uninformed guesswork right now but I feel good there.Hally wrote: ↑Wed Jul 08, 2020 12:59 pma few questions:ColinIsCool wrote: ↑Wed Jul 08, 2020 10:19 am Town reads:

what things do you find yourself agreeing with alison on other than fg suspicions?
why “duh” for jay?
why is lc feeling singled out relevant to his alignment? even if he does genuinely feel singled out, why should that make him town?
what do you mean, wilgy is in his town meta? how so?
and the other people in your poe are sprit and daisy? could you talk more about them?
any thoughts on other players you didnt mention?
okay. i disagree with this both in regards to wisp and on principle. i dont think wisp has done that in this gamesprityo wrote: ↑Wed Jul 08, 2020 1:33 pmWisp’s posts this game have been grating and could’ve accomplished any questions/information they wanted to acquire in a different manner.
The way they went about it made the environment feel more hostile and that takes away from the rational problem solving trying to be accomplished.
You could call it something similar to chaos-mongering. Basically they were inhibiting the town’s ability to function and I see that as a mafia mentality and way of playing
The really funny thing is you just very accurately described his town gamesprityo wrote: ↑Wed Jul 08, 2020 1:33 pmWisp’s posts this game have been grating and could’ve accomplished any questions/information they wanted to acquire in a different manner.

If you would like to make the case that Jay is scum then by all means go ahead but I see townie behavior. While I am loath to simplify his game to a point, he’s a lot quieter as scum, at least in my experience.
It’s a tone thing re: LC.
I’ve seen Wilgy as a townie making the same level of contribution like, a billion times.
I decline to say more at this time, because I don’t have any deeper thoughts to share. When or if they occur to me, I’ll share them.

and even if you think he has, that would make him anti town not scummy. they are really the same
can you point put specific examples of what youre talking about and why theyre more likely to come from scum?
It doesn’t guarantee a town loss, but it definitely encourages a town loss. I am helping to drive the collective POE game, and I would be a chop way outside that approach.

You’re all capable. And you’d be bad mischops too. Any major deviation from the POE effort that chops a civilian will severely harm town’s win chance.Wisp wrote: ↑Wed Jul 08, 2020 1:44 pmassuming worlds of town!Alison and town!Nanook, and you also got meJaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Wed Jul 08, 2020 1:41 pmIt doesn’t guarantee a town loss, but it definitely encourages a town loss. I just never really understood the argument, "Lynch Me, Lose the game", on day 1
Sorely misguided if they’re genuine. Everything is contextual, but that’s very rarely the right way to handle business.
