I'm pretty torn. I really like some of their stuff. I thought the treatment of Alison specifically was sketch though, especially since the approach clashes hard with other reads given... which may reek of TMI.

I'm not sure, but... I wanted to get some thoughts there. Maybe I'm crazy.

What treatment is this? I do not recall.

I haven't payed attention enough to see how the Alison read is very different to others, or at least it hasn't stuck with me. Tbh I've just assumed Tutu as town from tone and how she said she wanted to be correct in her reads. And I also liked her interaction and poking at Urist. So all in all more inclined to think she's town. She really comes across pretty much the same as last game imo, and I town read her pretty quickly there. I did mention already that I think she might be a player who's good at replicating tone. BUT I'm feeling simplest solution right now is that she's just town. I can see your point about her read on you though. Actually, I don't really have any real reason to town read you except I felt you were truly excited at the prospect of my being town right then. It was a real time reaction thing and rip all if I'm wrong lol

You should take this up with Dunya, I think. It depends more so on what you want imo. We all understand that time constraints is a thing in a game with 24 hour phases. So you just have to evaluate how much time you do have and if you can play the game and have fun with it with the time you have. If you have time for other phases, I'd say you're good myself.

Nah, all scum proto has to do is come in here and post 5000 words theorizing about game mechanics that everyone skims over, and then collect his free towncred. Everything he's done here just reeks of purity, and the "do you think I am scum? What about if I told you X? Shouldn't you scumread me if I told you Y?" thing is a quirk I've noticed he has in his gamesolving style as town. It's also a quirk that I haven't told him I noticed, so I don't think he's intentionally replicating it to pocket me.

(Also do you mean to say "Alison's scum"? Like you said I was town then went on to explain why my read was awful.)

I disagree with this cause what mechanics is there really to discuss compared to the SI game? I think the way he was trying to preemptively defend himself was scummy. I also haven't seen any mindset that reads clear town from Proto which I saw immediately last game. I think his style is the same, but I'm hm about his posts.

Hey proto, actually... assuming you haven't gone into this already, can you talk about some self-meta and specifically differences between your town and wolf game?

I have no forum meta really. I have one completed forum game and I was town in that game. There is no forum game where I am mafia for people to look at.

My forum meta is not the same as in other formats.

video meta not the same as voice/text meta either.

I like to think my town/wolf game are pretty similar. 1612, Jeraldooo and Lavender are probably better people to tell you the differences in my town/wolf play when I play voice/text.

generally if people do things which i think are anti town wincon, i tend to scumread them unless there is some good reason not to.

I will fake claim as maf AND town more than the average player.

I am generally anti meme as both alignments, unless the player lobby is a very specific group of people I want to just meme with, rather than solve.

i kinda wanna tr urist for the first post and the bolded part of the second post. i dont think these are factually correct statements, i think that they're just thinking out loud in a way i can understand and empathize with? then i had a second thought that they might be scum for the second post because maybe they expressed that statement with a bit more confidence than i would so what if theyre scum TMIing / vibing with town. then i lost my post cuz i wanted to go back to check for their pronouns so i right clicked the left arrow at the top left of my browser and i thought it would go "back" in a new tab but it didnt and i lost my post so im rewriting now from memory and i feel like a boomer.

so in previous game, I felt tutuu was a bit scattered in their posts (sorry tutuu just explaining my townread on you this game) and I didnt like their post style that much. However they were massively townread by the rest of the players, and then they were night killed shortly afterwatds. Its the same kind of vibe I get from tutuu this game. They just post whatever they are thinking at the time without caring what it looks like to other people. "in conclusion, i think that urist is either town or scum. you're welcome guys" - this just screams tutuu is town on my sample size of 1 previous game.
