I admit my reasoning for voting you weren't/aren't the greatest. If you haven't noticed my confidence in reading you is not very high. I don't know what you expect. I read Michelle town independently on you. If you flip and you're town, I'd still see Michelle town. Just her tone. I've played some games with Michelle. Anyway, I think it's pretty obvious that I'm town, but boring bias, and this is probably not important right at this second.Alison wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 6:02 pmYou voting me during the me vs Michelle thunderdome. There wasn't a good reason for it (in fact you specifically said you weren't giving a reason for it), and if Michelle is town, then scum have a lot to gain by flipping me, letting my legacy be an adamant "Michelle is bad", and then flipping her. Under those circumstances, scum would want to support the wagon on me, but not in a high commitment way (because they don't want to be too closely associated to a double misexe), which means that this line of reasoning implicates you, nanook and proto (who has since been cleared of wrongdoing), and to a lesser extent Urist (who was higher commitment about his push on me).

I generally don't either, but... I've been there very occasionally, it feels like things are trapped in on you and maybe the town will benefit more from your flip.

Regarding the last bit: I express reads with the confidence level that I actually hold on those reads. I expressed a confident scumread on Michelle because I was confident that she was scum. Re: The Lion King [Day 1]
I definitely am thinking about Urist/Nanook. There's some possibility that Nanook is wolf and Urist is villager - it would explain nanook's buddying behavior with Urist, and I think this post would fit for nanook even if Urist is villager (he wants to keep Urist alive if he is wolf and trying to buddy Urist). Urist's "I want to thunderdome Alison because I am on the side of justice" was kind of town as well.
Maybe the exe is actually nanook today; but I don't think I can in good conscience suggest a flash wagon 45 minutes before deadline. It messes up things really bad if I am wrong on nanook. I certainly think nanook should have the spotlight put on him tomorrow.

MP7 D1 EOD vibes reads
Strong town
protocultures
Moderate town
tutuu
Dyslexicon
Scirrus
Alison
cobbler
Slight town
jeraldooo
Michelle
POE
Urist
1612
Lavender
Long Con / Nanook
Some of these players I admittedly haven't given adequate headspace to yet, like Michelle, etc., but here's what I'm feeling right now.
I actually am torn on Urist but I don't know what to do about him. I think we should yeet someone else maybe and give him more time.

Re: The Lion King [Day 1]
Oh my lord, guys I don't think I can get a scum read before 7:00 PM. I've been reading logs left and right and there is already 200 more. I will just say that I really like Urist's quotes as towny. There are a lot of key words that I like such as "this is NAI and a waste of time in the grand scheme of things". I also like the beginning poem and more importantly the reaction that he/she gave to people. But I've also seen him/her write that they are used to 48 hours so they have a lot of range as mafia. But at least from what I am used to seeing, I feel like talking about NAI and pushing people off that conversation who respond in a useless conversation is beneficial for a mafia perspective. I believe that because I am so used to protocultures tunneling me off that and be relentless and then I turn off my laptop. I also see that he mentioned me and called my hair fabulous. Stop.
Dyslexicon, yes I am sorry I will vote. I am basically no voting for jailer with this lone vote.
I will vote with Urist here because he/she (could you update your personal pronouns on your profile?) is my only actual read. I haven't even read Alison's logs yet and I apologize

Re: The Lion King [Day 1]
I am strongly against last minute flash wagons. If they are wrong they mess everything up. Suppose we flash wagon nanook here, and he flips town. We are back at square one, we are totally lost, and everything is difficult. If we execute Urist or even me, we have a lot of content to work from because there's been an entire day of people being forced into making decisions and giving takes about those two wagons.M Plus 7 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 6:19 pmBut wouldn't it be better to try to yeet someone more consensus POE and/or with less posts regardless of the timing?Alison wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 6:14 pmI definitely am thinking about Urist/Nanook.

Re: The Lion King [Day 1]
I dont see that i did anything to make people re-evaluate. If people dont read me as town from my posts so far, they are unlikely to change their mind.tutuu wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 6:12 pm"its better to die than be sussed remainder of game anyway" dude like ...protocultures wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 6:10 pmif you are VT, its better to die than be sussed remainder of game anyway and force a potential PR to need to claim.
If you dont vote me today, you should clear me in your head forever. If you cant, just vote me today.
why are u assuming that ppl wont reevaluate u after u try to show them ur townyness? what does potential pr needing to claim have anything to do with this?
im not going to clear you in my head forever and im also not going to vote you. i disagree with the options that ur giving me, i dont think that these are all options, i think that in your subjective opinion these are the right options and i reject your opinion
if I were a PR, I would be fighting without claiming. If I thought I was still in real danger, I would just claim.
if I am VT and going to be sussed by a majority of town, its bad for me to stay alive.
We can agree to disagree, its cool.

Re: The Lion King [Day 1]
Could someone catch me up a TL;DR on Ulrist and Alison. I feel that is a more effective way to catch up on the Day. I will surely look at this tomorrow during the 24(?) hour night
Re: The Lion King [Day 1]
they are saying that since i was fooled by alison last game i shouldnt be trusted with my townread on her this game.M Plus 7 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 6:20 pmI don't understand, what does this mean?Urist wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 6:17 pmYou're dumb for sheeping someone who has a proven track record of being wrong. As long as I'm dumb, that's the most important thing I guess. Also, legacy reads, cause you might get yeeted.

This is a pretty hot take, consider the state of the game right now. But yeah, in my heart I still don't love a Urist lynch. Are you reading the game iso by iso or something?1612 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 6:18 pm Oh my lord, guys I don't think I can get a scum read before 7:00 PM. I've been reading logs left and right and there is already 200 more. I will just say that I really like @Urist's quotes as towny. I believe that because I am so used to @protocultures tunneling me off that and be relentless and then I turn off my laptop. I also see that he mentioned me and called my hair fabulous. Stop.
@Dyslexicon, yes I am sorry I will vote. I am basically no voting for jailer with this lone vote.
I will vote with Urist here because he/she (could you update your personal pronouns on your profile?) is my only actual read. I haven't even read Alison's logs yet and I apologize

1612, can you talk to me more about what is underlined there is a towny perspective specifically?1612 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 6:18 pm Oh my lord, guys I don't think I can get a scum read before 7:00 PM. Yeah mostly iso and iso and reading the interactions (if they quote). I really don't know why people's votes are on Urist. Did I miss something in the 400-1000 posts range?Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 6:23 pmThis is a pretty hot take, consider the state of the game right now.
