I think this is tutuu's reason for voting Radishes... because he said "Tutuu pls don't be a wolf.

Epi has the other vote... I asked him about it but he's not back for maybe 20 or so hours?

- as a conduit for interactions, given that it invoked both us and grogu who was similarly silent at once
- for a game that is supposed to have minimal mechanical intrigue (which i would interpret as not many PRs), there are an awful lot of players with an apparent agenda...?
- the math supports it as an arbitrary decision
i will say that i haven't known yin to say or do things purely based on intuition, no, but as with any other existence it's an integral part of their decision making process, i think? regardless i'll trust their judgement, we're running the grogu gambit until something makes us reconsider.
i can't answer for yin but from my perspective, there could be several other reasons:

Re: Bike [Day 1]
Alright thanks.
So I think "intrigue" was revealed in the sign-up thread so the game isn't bastard / town is prepared.
If godfathers/millers are too much for Jay, perhaps Town Tracker and Mafia 1-shot Ninja or something could be it.
Fwiw, I parsed "mechanical intrigue" as deception, not as the existence of mechanics. Heist games (such as this) have maximum 3 non-vanilla roles, the rest can be either vanilla or non-vanilla.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Sun Jan 03, 2021 9:46 pm I lie -- some basic information:

@snowmelts Could I ask you some questions to satisfy my curiosity? Forgive me if any of them are tone-deaf.
When you say [dissociating] - does that mean you are dissociating from all the other personalities?
Does the person with, let's say, "yin" pronouns have memories of the posts made by the person with, say, "fae" pronouns? What about thoughts?

Re: Bike [Day 1]
[dissociating] (no pronouns as in do not use any pronouns please)
yin is their name, not their pronouns (which are they/them). if we are dissociating it just means we are depersonalised/derealised to the extent that there cannot be a complete understanding of who it is that is in control of the body, but it does not mean there cannot be a partial one i.e. i know i'm not yin but that is not enough to know who i am.
and each of us are more than different personalities. the best example i think of offhand is that one of us named eleora has BPD, and her personality is fluid and unstable as a result, but her thoughts, hopes, dreams and hobbies among many other things are hers alone, they are not things that can be confined to a personality, they are a part of her identity. the name of the diagnosis was changed from multiple personality disorder to 'dissociative identity disorder' to reflect as much.
memories being shared or not isn't something any of us can predict or understand, i feel? but i did not know yin made that post until i read the thread to that point and memory gaps like that are something i'd expect to be a common occurrence in this format. we are using notes as a means of communication to facilitate understanding in place of memories, but that is something that is a regular part of our lives, it is not exclusive to this game.

I want to go back to this. Were you trying to suggest that Tutu might've had a tonal shift because they were accused/distrusted by more people early this game?Marmot wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 12:57 amI was pulling the quotes for dizzy mainly, and I added my own thoughts
Overall there is a huge tonal shift, as Dizzy described. But I don't understand the reason behind it. One thing that I do think is different in this game is that you took some sus early on, which is something I don't think that generally happens with you.

Re: Bike [Day 1]
I'm not really meaning to focus a lot on Tutu. I'm not interested in yeeting her this day at all. There's a very good chance she's town, and in that case it's also very good that she's actively involved and solving, and I trust her skills with that.
@Epignosis, you've been poking around a lot. Do you have any direction or any gains from that? Would like to know where you're at.
Feels like kind of a flat game tbh.

I don't believe in "wolves don't do that" (mostly). I've changed tone deliberately as scum many, many times before. But I used to change my tone a lot, and it also depends a lot on my overall mood anyway.TonyStarkPrime wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 10:19 amIt’s intentional, wolves don’t do that. But, for Tutu, you may be right. If her last couple of town games also have been more hearts and hyper, which is what I'm more used to, then I don't necessarily see that she needs to change her tone for this game as scum.
A wise player in my home community once said that tone reads never work. I'm inclined to say they are at least very fallible. I don't know what you perceive as scummy in Tutu's posts otherwise. I'm not seeing the same. She's gathering town reads and sorting at a rapid pace, which is what I've seen her doing as town.
I guess I'm content to just assume her town for now. Seems we see things differently though, which also isn't a problem.

I don't really get your obsession with Radish tbh. He often has a slow start, and I believe he said he would be busy in the signups anyway.
Which reminds me, @snowmelts You said something about Radish. Was this a defence of them, as in you didn't see how their behavior fit into a scum narrative? Did I read that correctly.

Re: Bike [Day 1]
Looking back at Page 1, tutuu did share an exchange with sean where they quote the Office. Epignosis called them teammates for it, and said he'd vote sean today. If tutuu came into this game with the plan that she was going to be 100% serious battlefield mode, she did permit herself a joking exchange with someone she's never played with before, and my first guess for the reason behind it is that they're teammates. open-wolfing.Dyslexicon wrote: ↑Sun Jan 10, 2021 10:05 amI want to go back to this. I could be wrong about this being their first game together, but it is sean's first game on the Syndicate.
That moment is the moment from my perspective where tutuu's tone shifted,.
