He could lie, I guess. But why make it so complicated. Also, I don't think he just pretended to not remember or understand my full claim, cause I've kind of spread it out here and there, only to pretend he got the full role and claim it on Michelle as a whole plot device. Seems too complicated. I think there is a red thread of something that actually happened here.

I'm also reading that Made is claiming yeet proof, and I just think that sounds not town in general. I don't know. I've been ok with Made most of the game though. Should probably read up on things before pointing fingers.

I holstered early as I didn't want to give the power out willy-nilly
Kyle turned my power back on me turning me into a rolechecker
I checked Michelle which revealed your role apparently (I was not aware that you had claimed previously)
MR used their power to turn my power back on me again and I am currently still a rolechecker

I don't remember the specifics but in the gambit demon game I wasn't able to use the power I was given by the gambit demon (a role block) against the gambit demon because blocking their role would block the block I used because it came from LC

But since he never provides clear answers on whether his did or did not do the redirect on Kyle we are in fact left wondering about whether LC and/or Tutuu really should be "on the table."

On the contrary, redirection roles at 1000% necessary for role madness to work.

Cops, trackers, doctors, blockers, jailkeeps, etc are all super freaking powerful. On top of just having the ability to stop kills or make wolf yeets way more likely, townies tend to claim, use and react to mechanical stuff in a townie way. See: Wilgy and Dizzy today.

There's only two ways you can counter this as a host.

First, by giving the wolves a bunch of equally dangerous mechanical abilities. This can be fun in big games but in practice, leads to a lot of games that are imbalanced because the host improperly judges the sheer power of the roles on each side. Maybe your wolf conditional vigilante gets yeeted D1. Maybe they manage to get an extra kill off every night. Maybe your players don't appreciate that don cloak. Maybe wolves still just have no way to get a misyeet. This method is iffy.

Second, you can counter it by giving out redirection powers, especially town random redirectors on top of wolves targeted redirectors (controllers, commanders, controlled misdirectors, whatever you wanna call them) and busdrivers. The town is VERY likely to trip over itself with incorrect information, outting power roles and getting misyeets. Every cop check is a potential error. Every track could be wrong. Roles that default to unchoppable 100% accuracy wolf catchers become choppable and have a 75% accuracy instead. You get everything good about role madness while mitigating the bad.

Redirection roles are the key to good role madness.
