Neat. All my bottom-tier suspects make his POE pool. Fingersplints in Michelle in the "backup poe" is also a good representation of where I'd slot them in relation to Marmot.
TSP and KZA are players I have in the second green tier in relation to Marmot, but that means nothing RE: the Other mafia team.

Looking at Marmot's ISO and my recent interactions with LC I'm thinking that both Ted and LC are apart of KC.

This raises a question about team size for me. I can't imagine either mafia team would have any more than 4 players. If they both have 4 then were are 14 vs 4 vs 4, which feels like a tall task, especially given that we're apparently being subjected to two kills per night. 3 & 3 or 4 & 3 or something in that ballpark feels more balanced.

Marmot said he had a redpeek on NANOOK. I don't think Marmot would out his teammate like that. I say we can safely rule out the redpeek as being legitimate. Marmot's town progression on Ted looks really bad on Ted. From what i recall Marmot townreads Ted out of his ass, and I think we call agree with Ted has been scummy all game long.

I'm thinking that's just a scum being inconsistent with their reads/story.

This exchange is as empty on this side as it was on Marmot's. Nanook gives Marmot a potentially juicy foothold for re-entry and then they both fumble around and say nothing and put no meaningful pressure on one another to produce real content. It fizzles out. Not that nanook is usually the type to hold someone's feet to the flames early in a game, but Marmot can do that from time to time.

Marmot is sort of a ubiquitous presence on the page where this post is found, but there isn't really one clearly definitive read for/about Marmot. But whatever Nanook is talking about, he calls it a good look for Marmot but he questions its applicability. @NANOOKTHEGREATANDFEARSOME what are you talking about in this post and why did it "say good things about Marmot"? Why didn't you know how much it applied there?

I'll admit my dilemma: I have not gotten a town-read from the Marmot, and indeed lean scum on him still. However I feel stronger about AL_sama and TSP. If I vote for TSP, I potentially run us into a tie. If I vote for AL_sama, it's not likely enough that it'll gain momentum and surpass another vote leader.

So I either I vote with my reads and it either winds up a tie or doesn't do anything, or I vote with the bandwagon, which I'm loath to do.

I do not know what exactly the votes looked like at this moment, but based on Strawhenge's post, it looks like Marmot is in the lead, TSP is second, and al_sama is third.
Reading this post in isolation, we get this scenario: Strawhenge presents three options; he can vote for one of Marmot, al_sama, or TSP. Nanook sees this and responds by volunteering to vote for TSP. He makes no mention of the other two. Neato.

Nanook basically disappeared for the remainder of the phase, with a limp attempt to elicit a read on Dom from Ted, which could be juicy. I wonder what motivated nanook to prompt ted out of the blue like that.

There is nothing here that would sway me to move my vote off of Nanook. I leave this ISO with more questions than I had coming in.

The redpeek thing was 100% a joke and I give it little to no weight. I could see Marmot making a joke like that about a teammate for wifom. I never considered for a moment that it was legitimate.

I am in agreement with you that Marmot's read on Ted materialized out of nothing and was never explained. That is a concern.

KZA has revealed that his own flavour involves the animosity of the Gerhardt faction, I assume he's extrapolating from that.

When I consider Sloonei, I feel like putting him in the town column. When I compare to other towns, he's the one that stands out as the black sheep somehow. Good dose of gut on all that.

I was picturing lining up the players in a rainbow list order and looking at him. When I stand so I see other suspicious POE-type players around him, Sloonei looks like he belongs in the towncore. But if I move to the side and see him hanging out with other towncore players, he stands out as "he's the one".
