Sorry for not reading it all and being in a hurry

Thanks, much obliged! Definitely intrigued.Made wrote:It's the best, takes a few games to get into tho. I recently got introduced to Coup and I love it, and was curious how The Resistance is since I know it is made by the same company.
Do you mean your thought on me not choosing a side? By side do you mean Sorsha vs. SVS? I did decide that of the two SVS was more likely baddie, because Sorsha frustration and self vote felt very civ to me. In light of Sorsha as confirmed civ and the votes coming in I don't think it likely that SVS is baddie now though. She wasn't "in danger" of a tie with Sorsha until Epi and I voted for her, and he's dead now.Roxy wrote:Hedge is not choosing a side she is straddling the fence making sure to cover herself based on hopw the lynch goes. I have also noticed she reads or is in thread often but never posts. Ofc I read a lot when working and don't always post something major but I will post something.Elohcin wrote:Roxy - could you restate your case on hedge? I read through your on-topic posts but I don't really follow what you are saying about Hedge. I have had a baddie vibe from her almost since the beginning but I don't like to go on vibes only. She just doesn't seem to be all that with-it concerning the game, that is. But that isn't enough for me to vote her.
This is Boogs posts after the Sorsha lynch. Let us remember what he said here as we read his posts leading up to Sorshas lynch.Boogs wrote:Um so question MR, does her role mean that everyone who voted for her can't vote tomorrow and are silenced? Or am I not understanding? And RIP Sorsha! Felt like you honestly were a frustrated Civ and tried to help save you.
Here he links SVS and Sorsha using "cahoots" and also links DSH to all his voters. Reaching and unfounded tbh.Boogs wrote:This game is cray cray lol. I am off today trying to catch up and I don't know what to make of everything lol. I'm not sure to continue thinking Sorsha for the Day 0 vote was really her playing dumb or if she was really just confused. And I'm not sure what to make of SVS voting for her, I think it's ballsy that early to vote for a teammate when most of us were self voting. But it looked like DH won? I don't see the poll so I must have missed before it ended. Because if people wanted to bring up that maybe SVS was in cahoots with Sorsha, then wouldn't the same be said for DH voters? If anyone has the poll results that would help us all
This is Boogs second post about Sorsha - that's some real nice help to save her right thereBoogs wrote:Sorsha self voting and not giving much defense was odd. Hmmmm...
Then suddenly in his very next post:
Still not seeing the "help" he overstated in his post-lynch post.Boogs wrote:I forgot the deadline! I felt bad after Sorsha's non defense and i ended up taking it as civ frustration. Threw a vote for SVS to help give Sorsha a chance. Mrow!
I added this post bc it made me giggle. He said he tried to help her by saying she was in cahoots with SVS and by saying that her self vote and non defense was odd.Boogs wrote:SVS I understand you defended and Sorsha didn't as well, however I had a gut feeling she was frustrated and not bad so I had to vote you in order to help her. Putting up a good defense doesn't mean someone is Civ however. So I tried to help her and it turned out she was Civ after all. Not sure what you are yet, but I look forward to hearing more from you now that you are still alive.
And Dana thank you for clearing up that you and Made knew Nutella pre- Misfits Mafia. I took it kind of as her defending a teammate and now I understand better.
With the new info that we see Sorsha was Civ, what do you guys think should our votes go for tomorrow?
So as you can read for yourselves he never really "helped" Sorsha the way he said he did. No where prior to the lynch did he express anything about a "gut feeling".

What I meant was that normally I would be more suspicious of someone like Sorsha coming in and advocating too hard to be picked, but reading through all the posts it felt like a silly fun and entertaining way to go about Day 0, not super serious strategizing. The way SVS responded to "puppies!" felt the same. Like they were two people having fun in a game (this is a game right?). That was my initial read on the situation, so the two comments I made were consisten in my feelings.

Of the two SVS seems the most likely to be suspicious. Sorsha is definitely reading as frustrated civ on my catch-up.
Votes SVS
Linki - Roxy, I was rushing back to computer and just grabbed the post I found under your name with my quotes in it. It wasn't anything more devious than that
Also, no one has addressed the obvious to me voting that indicates SVS is likely a civ as well. No one tried to save her or Sorsha and it seems like that's a good sign that no baddies were actually up for lynch.
Roxy- you are right I am "here" often, but usually reading to keep up while I have an eye on my very active toddler. plus I auto login on my computer. There are so many comments that never get posted that I usually wait till he's asleep.
First, I didn't say Sorsha was the most suspicious. I corrected Roxy on misreading me already. Second, I voted and tied it with Sorsha because I felt more sure that Sorsha was civ than SVS and didn't think she should be lynched.DharmaHelper wrote:Hedgeowl wrote:I don't see anything more to explain. I'd like for you to explain how you went from thinking Sorsha was the most suspicious of the two, to thinking SVS was. And I would like you to explain why you voted for SVS, whom you said you thought was a civvie, as opposed to any other vote you could have made. These are the things that confuse me.

I was suspicious of your behavior Day 1. And even though I don't think you've given a good defense to those actions, at least that of what Epi brought up, you haven't seemed suspicious to me since. I am looking in other directions for today, most like canuck but I still have my baddie vibes from Hedge.S~V~S wrote:I am hoping to hear these cases against me before all the votes pile in while I am at work again

If the reason for the suspicion on SVS was that she was teammates with Sorsha, and Sorsha turned out to not be bad, then what evidence do you have against SVS? I don't think the case against her still holds up as much anymore.Made wrote:I still think SVS is mafia. sorry, it's just gut feeling at this point.
I really have no idea. Someone on the last page made some good points about boogs, and also hedge possibly? I'm going to have to go back and read more if I can. Is it considered bad to not vote on purpose? I am also at six flags with Made so this might be kind of hard to figure this all out and vote within a few hours.MovingPictures07 wrote:Who do you think is bad, Dana?

I wasn't exactly gonna talk to myself! I was amazingly tired last night anyway after spending four hours walking through the woods with some friends. While I was here nobody else was, so there was no one to talk to. I don't think I've ever had a 'top 3 suspects', I rarely properly suspect more than one person at a time and don't like to share all my thoughts ever since I called out an entire baddie team and got killed the following night.Roxy wrote:No one is stopping you from talking though- except yourself obvBullzeye wrote:Since the poll ends six hours after I go to bed (even if I wasn't super tired there's no way I'd stay up) I'm probably gonna have to vote really early but I have no idea who for and obviously nobody else is here to talk...Who are you looking at today and why? I would have to go back through his posts to see, but I don't remember him saying anything particularly special that nobody else was saying or going after anyone for a reason nobody else had brought up. Regardless, my point after the night post was basically that the game had been really quiet and killing off one of the few people posting (even if it was like 60% fluff) wasn't going to help that.Elohcin wrote:As I was saying.....RIP Epi. I don't see it either; perhaps I'm letting my past experiences with Boogs where people misunderstand him often and lynch him mistakenly color my perception of his actions this game, but I just don't see how acting the way he is acting would be beneficial for a baddie to undertake.Bullzeye wrote:I just don't see why he'd claim he tried to help. It's such an easy point to disprove, all he did was not vote for her which so did a few others and none of them are saying they 'tried to help'. In my opinion trying to help her would be coming out with an argument as to why she wouldn't be bad.
This tbh.Bullzeye wrote:I'm gonna hold onto my vote hoping for more discussion because as of now I have opinions on two people and neither is especially strong.

Bullz your response to me is not very townie minded tbh. We need to share thoughts and suspicions all the time its the only way for civs to win. I remember a time when I did not win and died early it wasn't just one game it lasted for 14 games. get over your fear of dying early and share your suspicions more than one at a time (which can lead to undue tunnel vision)
Linky wow ni way to add your own toughts into your vote.
