Self voting is what any sane player would do if it's close to getting up. It's according to your wincon regardless of your alignment, but if you believe it's more likely for me to openwolf than to opentown then you haven't played with me before.

Nah. Any sane player would use the exile phase to settle on a widely townread player to exile. There's no point in selfvoting here and it only gets you bad look afterwards.

Town only has to lose selfvoting themselves into exile to get lynched the next phase and get closer to traitor parity. Traitors, on the other hand, benefit from getting exiled even if it means their death afterwards as they only need a couple more traitor exiles.

I vastly disagree but I see where you're coming from. But had 112 self voted to secure the exile, would you have doubted him? In that case, why? It doesn't make him more or less town compared to if he didn't do it, his alignment wouldn't change and the way you read him shouldn't either.

Of course, if I wasn't relevant in the getting exile talk, I wouldn't have self voted. And I think 112 is likely town so I wouldn't have minded voting him. But since the only one I know is town, is myself, it is pro town to do everything that I can to get exiled. Including self voting. Don't you get it? ---Both alignments has to do what they can to get exiled---

Also how can you use "X is anti town" and "X needs to be policy yeeted" in the same sentence xD If it's something that's anti town, it's policy yeeting, lol.

It'd be nice if the Anti-Cop tried to CC, but I doubt they will since we there's a backup for the cop, so the traitors lose a lot more from that move.

My assumption is that the backup isn't really intended to do much except create a world where CCing is a bad move.

I also firmly believe that my redcheck is a real one. The Anti-Cop is allowed to self-target, and I have a belief they would have done so Night 1 to keep themselves alive as long as possible. If that's true, that means that any redpeek on Day 1 would be correct, and only a greenpeak would have a slight chance at failure.

Obviously Marmot cop.

I think Gira is town in almost all worlds for being the first person to suggest a mech strategy that might just about lock the game for us (and would be completely out of his control were it to fail, being dependent on peeks over anything else). Fwiw I had worked out a similar strategy pre-rand (although I misinterpreted part of the rules so it doesn't actually work) and I decided that if I randed lost wolf I would never share it in a million years because it would take winning completely out of my hands.

Otherwise, I have Wisdom/Sparkles > 112 > Mac as towns.

Poison and possibly Creature (?) as wolves and I don't know what the hell long con was doing during the exile phase but I'll get back on what I think of that shortly.

Haven't really followed the last 24 hours or so too much so some of this might change when I start actually efforting again.

I confess I may have tunnelvision on Wisdom. I'm alarmed at Wisdom because her selfvote put her in a tie with 112 who was pretty much the chosen exile target and if the tie went in her favor it'd be 1/3 in traitor wincon.

We still shouldn't selfvote in exile phase especially if we have the upper numbers here. We can collectively decide on an exile and vote accordingly instead of each one selfvoting. Only traitors have the incentive to selfvote here.

I think I can see Poison and Aiwt as traitors here mostly because they were both underwhelming this game and none of their posts struck as particularly town solving.
