Almost done catching up, but on my way out.

Most important thing I want to say: Mac is not a bad wolf per se. Comparing his game to his fart game is dumb. He's not town just because he's not farting all over the place. In fact, I find his posts really lacking, especially the first string of posts. Feel like they are just words that could be any other words, and it wouldn't make a difference. I don't get where he get any of his takes from, doesn't seem to care about them himself either. And he can be much, much better as town than saying stuff that just sounds random.

Also noting that Alexa said "Mac sucks as wolf", which seems quite harsh actually. Wondering if this is w/w. She also follows up with Mac being able to laugh at her if she's wrong. Kind of a red flag for me. I might come back to this, but this is a connection that I want people to remember if one flips wolf. This connection is strengthened by Mac replying "lol" to Lime telling someone to get their vote off of Alexa. Mac also laughed at others town reading their scum mates in his previous game.

i wasn't really frustrated when i said it, it was more of a joke/hyperbole and i probably should've phrased it as "he's polarized," fwiw that comment should have no bearing on my alignment and would be something i'd say in, like, spec chat to Mac (and something he's kinda said about himself - that he's very capable as a wolf but has become polarized in recent times)

i'm actually fairly tryhard as scum generally but in the game you're referring to i couldn't keep up with EM hyperposting meta + the thread being like 80 pages already when i subbed in or something. Haven't really drawn scum in a fast-paced 48/24 game so don't really know how I'd fare though. Would probably hate playing it here because eventually games get too much meta that makes it impossible to misyeet people.

was possible she was testing me to see if i'd blow up like in baby mafia, also possible that she was pushing me as scum hoping i'd blow up and she could use that reaction against me. at any rate, that wasn't going to happen this game and it doesn't look like she's testing me. so the simpler answer is that she's just someone who reflexively hates my posts for whatever reason. this is similar to how anne used to treat me in games.

i don't love her having an overconfident PoE on day 1 while claiming to have essentially skimmed, but i have a bias toward thinking the hard tunnel on me is town

to expand, one of the main ways that i try to find alexa when she's town is gauging whether or not her pushes have conviction behind them, because i think one of alexa's biggest wolftells is her struggle to replicate the intensity of the pushes that she makes as town. i thought that her supporting lime coke's push on me and playing more reactively could be indicative of her lacking "conviction", but she showed a lot of passion and a lot of authentic frustration in the interactions that i just had with her, and i think she would probably struggle to fake that level of conviction as a wolf

it's also notable that alexa's concerns with me are primarily based on how im reading her, which is also pretty typical of her towngame. i was starting to get deja vu in our exchange right now because i feel like we've had multiple games where we struggle to find each other early on and then OMGUS/fight with each other and i kind of got the vibe that the same thing was happening here. i think alexa might be more passive toward in general if she was a wolf, because she would probably want to pocket me

I liked that you were critical of the EM players for not having a read on you. I think as a wolf you would be content with being out of their radar for now esp since you already have to deal with Alison pushing you atm + I liked how you assessed her push on you from multiple angles and the conclusion of “she just hates my posts for whatever reason” is a more likely thought for you to have as being town fossed by her after just being mafia fossed by her. I think it’s less likely you have idea to fake that thought if you naturally rand mafia against her twice and she correctly reads you both times.
